One of the things I love so much about hoa is how clearly defined the plot is between *mystery* plot and *high school drama* plot. And what I love even more is Nina’s rock-hard determination to stay in mystery plot land and go nowhere near where the other side of the house is “doing whatever it is they’re doing.”
