Like, people are very much doing this! Saying that any idea that criticizes Israel as a state and its genocidal actions are antisemitic. Literally any mild criticism will be called antisemitic! And all it accomplishes is that it makes it impossible for people to talk about actual antisemitism, both in the left and the right because you're using the label to straight up distract from a fucking ongoing genocide!!!! It's actually insulting and devaluing the meaning of the word!
