The issue with most of those is their unofficial tags and people still don't use them correctly

:( that and it's nigh impossible to exclude all of them without downloading an extension to block tags and even if you got one of those like I do incorrectly tagged and non tagged stuff still shows up.

I wonder if wed be able to bother the moderators into making a separate fandom tag for au like they did for deltarune and undertale yellow...but even if their did exist a fandom tag for all aus to use I think people would still tag their au stuff with undertale for 'reach' purposes and it'd be impossible to enforce since aus exist in a weird middle ground of being transformative and their own thing.

Begging sans au fans to tag their au fics with the undertale multiverse tags so my filters can work...

#i didn't submit this ask but i have submitted multiple about this topic #the undertale tag especially the sans tag is unusable if your only looking for undertale fics #the only way to find straight vanila ut fics is going through a bunch of filters and avoding the sans frisk papyrus and chara character tags #and if you wanna read a fic about any of those 4 the easiest method is to exclude a bunch of stuff and get really specific in your searchs #that and going through other peoples bookmarks and collections also make it easier #but the main search itself is so annoying i block like 5 new tags everytime i go through the main tag what is a Poth??#stop using shipnames as relationship tags you can mention them in the summary and then search for them that way #at least the deltarune main tag is usable but i still occasionally see a sans au centric fic in that tag where dr characters arent even #mentioned like please stop using tags for reach theirs no algorithm just tag whats relevant and triggers and the most popular tag for the au #ive got every variation of underverse and xtale blocked and i still see fics about them like at least tag male chara so my tags will work?!?
