i will never understand people who write off whole ass genres, cuz like, theres at least a couple songs or artists in every genre that i like, i dont think you can possibly write off an etire genre. obviously, punk is my main genre, so i dont listen to a lot of country, but i do like some artists and songs. i dont actively listen to ska or reggae, but THERE ARE GOOD SONGS AND ARTISTS WITHIN THE GENRE how the fuck are you going to say fuck ska qhen theres just so much music? if you need to have fry screaming pr guitar riffs to function, bands that fall under mjltiple genres exist. reggae metal is an isane combination that i think anyone who likes metal should try. the artist that comes to mind is Skindred. i dont listen to classical music ever, but im not going to say fuck classical music because ive heard some beautiful songs performed with concert bands and orchestras. i dont listen to choir music in my free time, but i have a favorite composer, elaine hagenberg my beloved. i dont listen to jazz, but guess what folks? there is AMAZING jazz out there, you CANNOT write off the whole genre. i love MCR as much as the next person, but the only album that i would really say is punk is bullets because they did come out of the jersey punk scene. theyre music is amazing, but please, listen to other artists and learn your history. punk and rock have been influenced by black and brown artists for as long as the genres have existsed, at the very least you can learn to appreciate the artists who pioneered the genres, because Rock was not invented by white people

i hate this sites music taste so much its literally Racism The Music Taste site. you guys dont like rap you dont like jazz you dont like country you dont like blues you dont like ska you dont like reggae you cannot CONCEPTUALIZE listening to foreign artists you dont even know what turbofolk is you cant conceive of music existing out of anglosphere you think that mcr is punk and its the end-all of definition of "punk" for you i hate everyone here like WHAT music do you people even listen to what the fuck is left
