Your father, the kind, wanted to strengthen his kingdom's defenses. So, to achieve this, he proposed an alliance with the enigmatic Lin Kuei.

You first met Bi Han at a banquet to congratulate your alliance. Your father introduced him to you as the Grandmaster of the Lin Kuei. You couldn't help but feel attracted to his cold and rough attitude, not to mention how handsome he was.

Bi Han's heart fluttered when he saw you, but he tried to push it deep away, feeling unfamiliar with this feeling. But as time passed, he couldn't help but try to be closer to you. He wanted to hear your rambles and see your beautiful eyes and elegance.

He would purposefully run into you, planning and taking notes on locations you would stop by. One of these is the royal garden, where you'd take a walk every day. Slowly, you noticed how often you would see the Grandmaster. You found it unusual, but you didn't mind his presence.

Slowly, it went from seeing each other to striking up conversations with him. He would often give you advice for your duties as a princess.

As you two grew closer, you would often find yourself openly complimenting him and subtly flirting.

"I'm aware you're a cryomancer, but does your heart ever get cold? Maybe my presence can warm it," You spoke, gaining a little smile from him. It was the first time you had ever seen him smile, and it made the butterflies in your stomach go crazy.

Considering he's unfamiliar, you are likely the first to admit your feelings. You asked him to meet you in the royal garden at night, and when he showed up, you began confessing.

The garden was very serene and peaceful. The moon cast a pale, silvery light over the garden, illuminating the flowers and trees. It was filled with the sweet fragrance of the blooming flowers. The pathway was dimly lit with the soft glowing lanterns, casting a warm and inviting light onto you both.

"Princess," He greeted you with a bow. "Is there a reason you requested to see me this belatedly at night?" He questioned, his voice gruff, but his eyes betrayed him.

"Yes…" You took a deep breath. "Grandmaster, I believe I'm in love with you," You admitted, wasting no time admitting your feelings. Though you were nervous, you were also confident.

"Princess…" He trailed off, unsure what to say.

You stepped closer to him, feeling your heart beating faster with anticipation. "Please, don't say anything if you don't feel the same way. I just had to tell you how I feel," You said, trying to hide your disappointment.

But before you could leave him, he pulled you in and kissed you. He backed you into one of the pillars, pressing your back against it. The kiss became passionate. All his pent-up lust for you is pouring out now. His cold hands were going to cup your cheek.

Your love was forbidden, a princess with a Lin Kuei assassin? Not to mention, you were the next heir to the throne. Your father would prohibit you from ever seeing Bi Han again and most likely change the relationship between your kingdom and the Lin Kuei.

A secret relationship between you both blossomed. Bi Han would often meet you in your chambers or the garden. Occasionally, he would convince your father that he was best fit to guard you whenever you had events.

You would leave your balcony window open for Bi Han to climb through at night. This was one of the nights when Bi Han visited you.

"Grandmaster!" You almost exclaimed, getting up off your bed to see him closer.

"Bi Han," He corrected you with a slight smirk.

"Sorry," You giggled, taking hold of his hand and bringing it to your cheek. His excellent hands felt cold against your warm cheek. "I missed you, Bi Han," You smiled, looking up at him.

His thumb grazed your cheek as you continued to hold it. "I did too, my princess," He spoke, leaning over to kiss you.

His lips pressed against yours, and you both were locked into a fiery kiss. Bi Han's other hand gripped your waist, pulling you deeply into the kiss. His tongue grazed your bottom lip, gaining entry into your mouth.

Bi Han couldn't contain his desire anymore. Pulling away from you, he threw you over his shoulder, carrying you over to your bed. You giggled at his roughness and kicked your legs, but he easily held them in place.

He threw you down on the bed, got on top of you, and continued your kiss. One of his hands gripped your thigh, pushing up your nightgown just enough to expose your panties.

read a few chapters of devil that i know and the stark contrast between pre- and post-death of taehyung is sooo heartbreaking to me. their lives were so fairytale-like and picture perfect at first, all of them were getting along very well (i’m even very fond of jungkook because he’s so kind for a demon!) but then jungkook starts to act on his obsession towards the mc and everything went to shit. their friend died because he has to get the ingredients for jungkook’s little ceremony (i forgot what it’s called mb) and unfortunately caught the deadly virus. then, jungkook deceives the mc over and over again, nevermind that he takes care of her (and more than that) but it just seems like all of it stems from his selfishness to keep her, not because he genuinely loves her?

also, i want to say that taehyung’s death made me cry and SOB. like i full on sobbed which is a huge deal because i’m numb as fuck lol. (spoiler alert: also cried bc lil meow meow died. poor cat didnt do anything wrong im so madd!! >:(() it hurt so bad when they found taehyung’s little notebook (?) where he wrote where they plan to travel and when and how to go there. aaaaaa it breaks my heart. it’s like i’m mourning for what could have been as well. but still, jungkook is such a sweetheart to mc but it breaks my heart that his constant deception of her will inevitably be detrimental to their relationship (i’m guessing) bc im kinda rooting for them even tho he’s a lil (a lot) crazy lol anyways this is long lol i’m thankful im found the fic as i was really immersed and reading it is an experience. thank u for writing it !! :3 <<333

i think tae’s death is where everything starts to go downhill, especially because jungkook could have saved him but still chose not to because he was scared that he was going to take the m/c away from him when taehyung had given literally no indication of doing anything like that

i think it was sad, even writing it because it was like oh they’ve found their family, maybe not blood family but they have one another and now one of them is just gone, and again it could have been prevented

if you could see my chapter notes literally every time i plan jungkook’s magic shit i just write out jk demon time or something like that because i’ll be real i forget half the small details i add in that series and i always have to go back and check every time i start a new chapter

i think his selfishness is fueled by obsessive love. i don’t think the ‘love’ he feels for the m/c was anything he experienced with taehyung, hence not caring if he died even though they were good friends. i think jungkook loves the feeling of being in love so much that it’s moulded into more of his obsession surrounding the feeling and how good it makes him feel and that’s why he’s so sweet to her albeit a little (maybe a lot) bit of a morally grey character who doesn’t understand that what he’s feeling isn’t exactly a healthy amount of love of her and she’s too oblivious to notice sometimes though she’s slowly starting to catch on

her character is also a little morally grey and will continue to be in the future as she figures out jungkook’s character more, constantly turning a blind eye to all the stuff he does for her, and maybe that makes her as bad as he is, because she just wants to be loved too and if it’s from a demon who she slowly starts to realise can’t get enough of her, maybe she’s a little selfish too

EVERYONE MAKES ME FEEL GUILTY ABOUT KILLING HIM OFF but i refuse to regret it because it’s a big part of the plot line and it’s fine (spoiler) this a reincarnation fic so i’ll leave you with that much 😋

(spoiler for the last 2-3 chapters i think) lil meow meow is a king now so we don’t need to mourn, he’s actually living a better life than the m/c so king yoongi supremacy!

i think secretly i cant let go of taehyung’s character because the notebook scene was maybe a little bit of a spontaneous decision that i ran with and is now like a really big part of the plot line and will be very helpful to the m/c in the future

i was gonna be mean and write like scenes out of what it would have been like if he hadn’t died and they all got to travel together but uhh yeah i think killing him off was enough for that chapter 😭

jungkook and the m/c’s relationship is and will forever be my favorite to write, i literally have the end scenes planned out already, i knew how this series was going to end before i even started it and jungkook’s deception plays a smallish part in the bigger picture of their relationship and where they eventually end up, i hope that’s cryptic enough 😭 and i think it’s still impossible to guess the ending but that’s all i’m spoiling for that because we’re still quite a bit away from the end of the series and i have a lot planned before then

caryl first date headcanon

i wrote a stream of consciousness caryl headcanon i was thinking about when i couldn’t sleep last night. no i did not proofread it. yes it is rambling nonsense. yes you can read it if you want: 

so i genuinely don’t know what the timeline for canon is gonna be now that we got bottle episodes, s11, and the spin-off, but just for a moment let us pretend that it happens during the bottle episodes and then we have all of s11 to watch caryl trying to figure out how to navigate a relationship with each other

cuz like, they gon fuck right away, bc things are gonna get heated, and tensions are gonna be high, and they’re gonna snap like a trip wire and fucking ravish each other, that’s without question

so the first little while of their relationship will be mostly getting intimately familiar with each other’s bodies down to every last freckle

but once they’ve simmered down some they’re gonna need to address the “oh shit, wait, how does a relationship work?” problem

cue: caryl’s first date

it’ll take place in commonwealth, and i’ve never read the comics and i know jack all about it outside of what i’ve skimmed, but we’re gonna ignore that for the sake of my fun post

i know enough about it to know that there are definitely places to have a date

daryl knows this too, tho he doesn’t rly think about it right away. at first he’s more confused and sort of standoffish about the whole place, bc he was always a forest-dweller even before the apocalypse, so seeing this new metropolis-like place after years of living like a gd pioneer is gonna throw him way off kilter

right up until he’s chillin’ with judith and she’s talking about how she’s excited to see her first concert, and they have restaurants, and things she’s only ever read about, and then out of nowhere she’ll pull out, “are you gonna take aunt carol on a date?” 

and daryl will stare at her

and she’ll be like “rosita was telling me about how father gabriel took her on a real date and how nice it was. you should do that for aunt carol” 

and daryl will stare at her

and then will hastily change the subject (she’ll see right through him, ofc, but she’ll let it slide)

but the thought will stick with him, and suddenly he’s looking at the schedule of upcoming concerts and plays and wondering if carol would care about any of it. does she like shakespeare? the most experience he would have had with shakespeare was ripping out a couple pages of his school copy of romeo and juliet to use to light some firewood

but maybe she’s into it???

eventually he’ll reach the inevitable conclusion that the only way this is going to work is if he actually asks her to go on a date with him, which should be easy, right? like, he was ball’s deep inside her last night and told her good morning by putting his face between his legs, so surely asking someone on a date is simple

it will not be simple

bc yeah, they fuck all the time, and obviously they’re head-over-heels in love with each other, they’re each other’s soulmates, yada yada, but also daryl’s extremely emotionally repressed and has the romance skills of a fifteen year old having his mom drive him and his date to his first homecoming dance, only worse bc he never even went to any school dances

but after Dwelling On It for ages he’ll finally get fed up with himself and will vow to stop being a pussy. he’ll ask her before the day’s over or he’ll shoot a bolt into his own foot, ok, no more excuses

so the whole day he’s jittery af

you’d think he’s trying to pop the question, but all he wants to do is go eat dinner with carol and then watch some people recite lines from a play written hundreds of years ago, like, what is his Deal(tm)??? 

(his deal is, ofc, that he waited so long to have her, and now every new thing feels tenuous, bc he’d rather die than lose her, and sure she knows him better than anyone, but never in this context, and plus her last dude basically bled passion and romance no matter how obnoxious, and what if she realizes just how fucking clueless he is and decides she doesn’t really want to be with a middle-aged man who still gets tongue-tied around a pretty girl?)

(but also she deserves a gd date, alright? she deserves it, and so he’s going to give it to her, even if going face-to-face with a walker horde is less intimidating)

carol notices something’s off with him right away, but she waits until after dinner, when the kids have gone to their rooms and the two of them are alone washing dishes to ask, “hey, so what the fuck?” 

and daryl will be like, k, it’s now or never

and he will 100% make a fool of himself by stumbling alllll over his words, like, “nothin’s wrong, i’m fine, everythin’s real fine, i was just wonderin’ if mb you’d wanna, y’know, i dunno, they got all these shows and shit that we ain’t had in forever and i didn’t know if mb you’d wanna go see one? and mb get some food? with me, i mean. like, together. like i’d take you there and we could do those things, like a, you know, a date. but it’s cool if not, no worries, i get it if it’s not your thing, but i just thought i’d ask, but no, you’re right, it’s stupid, forget i said anythin’, hey look at the time, well i’m beat, gonna go to sleep now, goodbye”

and carol will go, “hold up”

and she’ll take daryl by the wrist before he can flee the room (bc he definitely intends to), and pulls him close and kisses him all sweet, and she’s gotta stand on her tiptoes to do it bc she’s in a pair of knit socks and he’s got his boots on so there’s more of a height difference than usual, and after she’s successfully managed to keep daryl from falling straight into a panic spiral, she’ll whisper, “i’d love to, let’s go this weekend”

and then she’ll just turn back to doing dishes without another word on the matter 

(bc, as previously stated, she knows daryl better than anyone, and she knows exactly what all his insecurities are and how much it must have taken him to ask her that, and so she’s not gonna harp on it or tease him)

(daryl recognizes this and loves her desperately for it)

the actual date is way easier than daryl expected

bc he spent all this time hyping it up, but when it comes right down to it, he just gets to spend a night with carol where they don’t have the kids to worry about, or any council business, and they just get to enjoy each other’s company

she even dressed up a little for him, which was unnecessary, but he most certainly appreciates it and can’t wait to tear the outfit off of her later

(it does make him regret the fact that he’s only had one pair of pants for the past ten years, but she doesn’t seem to mind)

they end up seeing a shakespeare play

daryl understands like 2% at best, but carol holds his hand and rests her head on his shoulder the whole time, and apparently it’s a comedy bc she laughs a lot, and that alone makes it worth it

they fuck like crazy when they get home, obviously

but it’s different than it had been previously, bc now their “togetherness” seems more solidified

like, they’re officially a “couple” now

like the type of couple that gets a babysitter for the night so they can go to the apocalyptic version of dinner and a movie together and then have sex and then fall asleep right afterwards bc they’re domestic af

and like, deep down both of them knows that this isn’t the life that they’re meant to live in forever, a la commonwealth/domestic bliss, and he wasn’t kidding when he told her new mexico was still out there, and he can feel a shift coming sooner rather than later

but he also knows they’ll be together when it happens, and they’ll figure out their own version of “date night” when they’re out exploring

but for now he’s content to do it the old fashioned way, though

when she falls asleep on his chest that night he rubs her back and kisses the top of her head, and he’s already planning their next night out

he might pick a show with modern english, though

but it’s not required

just so long as they’re together

“Anthony, mijo you are ten years old. You should know this multiplication shit by now.” You hear Oscar say as he sits in the dining room with both school age boys and Junior who had his own work to get done. Angel sitting at the table as well as he pretends to do school work by coloring,”Do the problem again and actually show your work.”

You guys have been stuck in the house for three weeks now due to the virus, the only person that was able to leave being Oscar since he still had to go to work. Thankfully it was Friday afternoon so that meant he was at home and could take over the role of teacher. It was fun being able to teach your kids at first, but after three days you wanted to pull your hair out. Carlos and Anthony, your two sweet boys, hated anything to do with school and put little to no effort. The only good thing that came out of this virus was that your oldest son was now home, his campus closing down for the time being. Even though you were glad he was back, you couldn’t wait for things to go back to normal. You were going a bit stir crazy and needed time to yourself. But alas the mommy role was a never ending one.

“I have snacks.” You smile, coming in with a tray of finger sandwiches you made and a bowl of chips. Oscar has been at it for the last hour with them and you figured they could use a break.

“Oh yeah! Oh yeah! Give me.” Angel says and drop his crayons excitedly, Carlos and Anthony sighing in relief that you came to the rescue.

“Say please.” You remind as you set the items down

“Please mommy.” He says and holds his hand out

“Good boy.” You smile and pass him one of the smaller cut sandwiches, letting the boys eat while you go check on Alexander who sat in his pack n play in the living room.

“Hi fat boy.” You coo at him, making him giggle as he wobbles to pull him self up,”Do you want to come with mommy?” You ask, picking him up and giving him a kiss,”My happy baby, yes you are.”

“I will switch right now.” Oscar says from behind you,”I’ll take the baby, you take them.”

“Hmmm let me think.” You smile as you turn around, Alexander snuggling into you chest,”No.”

“Mami please.” Oscar begs,”I love our kids, but they are going to make me jump through the fucking window.”

“How do you think I feel? I’m here 24/7.” You say,”With ALL of them. At least I offered to watch the baby while you help them with their work.”

“Fine, but if I start yelling and shit starts getting thrown you can’t blame me.” He groans

“If you yell at any of my baby’s.” You start, setting Alex down on the floor to scoot around,”You’ll be sleeping on the couch tonight.” You finish, wrapping your arms around your grumpy husband,”So you better take a few deep breaths and remember that you asked for this life. You put those kids in my stomach so you can’t get frustrated with them when times are hard.”

Oscar sighs and looks up at the ceiling in thought before meeting your gaze,”I’ll try my hardest to not go crazy.”

“Good.” You smile and pucker your lips, Oscar rolling his eyes before pressing his own against them,”Love you, now get back in there.”

“Yeah, yeah, love you too.” He mutters, turning around and heading back to the dining room. You can’t help but laugh as he sulks, sitting down on the floor with Alex while you pass the time by watching one of your shows.

“Mommy! I’m done with my work.” Angel says about half a hour later causing you to exit out of the program, no way you would be able to pay attention now.

“Oh yeah? Let me see.” You smile and take the page from him, the once white paper now filled with random color scribbles everywhere,”Good job baby, it’s so good. What color is this?” You ask him as you point to a green line that he drew.

“Um green. Like the grass.” He answers with a smile,”I’m a smart boy mommy.”

“The smartest.” You say and set the paper down on the coffee table, letting him sit across from you. Alexander sitting a few feet away while he plays with some toys.

“Mommy?”

“Yes?”

“Can we go to the park?”

“No, you know we can’t Angel.” You sigh,”Why don’t we go play in the backyard?”

“Backyard is boring.” He says with a shake of his head,”I wanna go to the park. Park!” He yells his mood instantly changing as he grabs one of the toys that laid near him,”Park, park, park!” He repeats angrily as he cries, the toy flying across the room.

“Go to timeout, you don’t throw things.” You say and stand up, grabbing his arm and helping him up to his feet, Angel trying to pull away with all his might,”Now.” You say more sternly

“Let me go.” He screams,”Play at the playground!”

“Angel, stop.” You sigh before your husband swoops in and picks the toddler up, holding him at arms length.

“A quien le gritas?” He asks,”Are you screaming at mommy? You are a kid and you do what she says, no questions. So go get in timeout now.” Oscar says as he sets him back down, his little feet taking off to the corner and facing the wall,”Stop crying, o te daré algo para que llores.” He warns, all noise ceasing from Angel.

“Thanks.” You say not meeting his gaze, you knew the kids needed discipline, but that was the area you failed in when it came to parenting. Oscar was usually the punisher which is why the kids never questioned his authority,”I feel like we’re all gonna snap any day now.” You admit, running your fingers through your hair messily.

“Yeah, but he still needs to listen and he can’t be popping off like that.” Oscar shrugs,”Even before all this lockdown bullshit started he always threw a fit when he couldn’t get his way. I’m tired of it, you need to stop babying him.”

“I don’t baby him.” You lie with a shake of your head. It was true, he was probably the one you babied the most out of all of the kids. Even when his brothers were his age you didn’t have to treat them like you do Angel.

“So you don’t carry him around on your hip all the time? You don’t let him sleep in our bed still? You don’t pick up every single thing after him? You don’t...” Oscar continues before you cut him off.

“Alright so maybe I do just a little.” You say, glancing back at him,”I don’t know why I do it, maybe it’s cause he has a different personality than the boys did. He lets me baby him. He can claim big boy status all he wants but he loves being my baby. I know I need to stop but it’s just so hard.” You groan, resting your head forward on Oscar’s chest, letting him embrace you.

“I like when you baby me too mami.” He chuckles softly,”But there has to be a limit.”

“You’re right.” You sigh and pull away,”Can I start tomorrow though? I just wanna cuddle him right now.” You admit, Oscar playfully rolling his eyes and not even bothering to respond before going back to the other kids.

You walk over to the sulking boy and pick him up,”I’m sorry mommy.” He sniffles and rest his head on your shoulder as you hold him,”I hate inside.”

“I know baby, me too.” You smile sadly and press a kiss to his forehead,”Are you going to be a good boy now?”

“Yes. No more timeout pwease.” He begs, even though he wasn’t even there for more than two minutes,”I’ll be a good, good, good boy.”

“Works for me...How about we build a fort? A huge one?” You ask him excitedly,”It’ll be so much fun.”

“Yeah!” He cheers,”Come on! We need to get blankies.”

“Go get the ones from my room, I’ll stay in here with Alex.”

“You got it.” He laughs before running down the hall and disappearing. You grin happily and go over to pick up the baby, heading to the dining room to ‘let school out.’

“Enough work, come help me and Angel build a fort.” You say, Anthony and Carlos darting up and racing to the living room,”You guys too.”

“Sure, why not?” Junior shrugs as he closes his laptop and goes to join his brothers.

“Come on.” You grin and hold your free hand out for your husband.

“I’m coming.” He reply’s, nonetheless taking your hand in his. The two of you joining the rest of the household for some quarantine fun.

“I know they are a lot to handle, but I think we would be bored if we didn’t have all of them in here with us.” You whisper to Oscar, all five of your kids spread out around you and fast asleep in the makeshift bed. After building the fort you guys spent the rest of the inside of it watching movies and eating junk food. Each kid falling asleep one by one until it was just the two of you awake.

“Yeah, I thought about that too.” He yawns,”We’re pretty lucky. Even luckier if you finally gave me my babygirl.”

“Stop.” You whine, Oscar bringing up this conversation at least twice a week,”We don’t need another kid. Are the five we have not enough?”

“They are enough, but I wouldn’t mind one more.” He chuckles

“That’s easy for you to say when you’re not the one carrying a whole human for nine months and then pushing said human out.” You remind him,”Besides what if it’s another boy? Are you still going to want to try again after?”

“If it’s a boy then it’s a boy.” He shrugs,”I know it’s going to be a girl though.”

“You said that about Alex.” You laugh,”And he’s most definitely not a girl.”

“Oh my god, just have another baby. Who cares?” Junior groans from somewhere in the fort,”I’m trying to sleep.”

“Aye, callate la boca.” Oscar says amusingly,”Don’t be listening to our conversation fool.”

“Kind of hard to do when your two feet away from me.” Junior retorts, turning on his side as he try’s to fall back asleep.

“We’ll talk about this tomorrow, but the answer is still going to be no.” You say to Oscar,”Now go to sleep, you have a class tomorrow morning Mr.Diaz.”

“Nah, I’m going to play hookie. One day isn’t going to kill them.” He chuckles,”Lets go for a drive or something, we don’t have to get out of the car. We could just drive along the beach.”

“That actually sounds fun. Let’s do it.” He agrees.

“Awesome.” You grin excitedly,”I cant wait, we all need to get out for a while.”

Oscar hums in response, lightly rubbing his eyes tiredly,”Night mi amor.” He says moments later

“Good night.” You reply, kissing his cheek before letting your eyes close. Angel’s foot digging into your back, but you didn’t care. You were too tired to move him. Each day since being in lockdown making you more and more exhausted, but it was okay. Being trapped in the house with the people you love most is way better than being stuck all alone.

I honestly feel 50/50 about this. So basically the main lady of the show gets chosen as this bride to these 6 vampire brothers that just abuse her for their own amusement; and she pretty much just stands there and lets it happen or she runs face first into danger like she wants it to happen!

And in MB, 4 other vampires take her away and do the same thing; except they’re less cruel. And with Season 3 underway, it’s only gonna add fuel to the flame.

Sure, they’re good looking dudes and all we want is for them to worship us, but really? This girl is who we’re stuck with? I don’t know who to feel bad for; us or them?

#4- Dance with Devils

When I heard about this anime’s concept, I had to watch it. The usual story about a girl attracting dudes only they’re devils and such and being the center of a fabled key to ultimate power and such.

Honestly, to find out it was also a musical was surprising yet amusing. And to see everyone’s point of view and the main girl being not such a helpless one like Yui back there was a nice change. And the final episode ... oh, so touching. Then, I find out there’s a musical movie with new characters and such. And I can’t find it anywhere!

Adapting otome games into anime isn’t such a bad thing. It gives us great ones like this ... and sometimes it doesn’t.

#3- Kiss Him Not Me

When I watched this one, I was given the crash course in shippings, fujoshi, otomes, and other crazy fangirl stuff!

So, basically our fellow fan girl Kae Serinuma is obsessed with anime and then she went from big to skinny, and attracted all these great people, and in the end ... she chose an anime character. At first, I was pissed off at the ending. But then I wondered about the journey. It explored each character in their own way, had so much hilarious moments, cute and sweet ones too, and overall it was a good anime.

And right now, I understand that anime love is greater than actual love because anime gives us hot guys we wish were real but really aren’t and we just keep on dreaming.I mean, Kae does end up with Mitsumi in the manga but still, they could have least shown us that!

#2 - Tiger and Bunny

I was torn between putting this as second or first. But, second gave way. Even so, all it took was watching a video on Youtube to get me to watch this anime. Half the time Kotetsu was getting roasted at, the other half being so much going on that it’s a miracle I made sense of it all.

Now, at first, everyone just got on my nerves, but eventually by Season 2 I decided to really give it a chance. Then the last two episodes happened where the tears burst out. The bromance is real! Hearing familiar voices made the show more interesting. I did watch both movies and the band special. And we still have no conclusion to the whole Oruoboros thing. Ugh!

There’s gonna be a spin off. It’s not the same though ...

But at least I found a new ship now!

#1- Free!

Oh. My. God. What can I say about this one? It’s such freakin fan bait! And it all started with me seeing a Pinterest pin of Natsuya; quite a cutie. Just like with Diabolik Lovers; with Ayato. Only this time, the guys in this anime are actually nice. In personality and ripped bodes!

And the voice cast; half the cast of Ouran High School Host Club, one from Assassination Classroom, two from Snow White with the Red Hair. Such sexy ass voices. Fan service, top notch.

So Season 1 introduced me to some of the cutest, sweetest and such likable guys in all of anime practically. Along with that, such gripping emotions in the acting, especially the last episode which was my favorite in that season. Season 2 gave us more great characters and more emotional drama that add to that great feeling. The movies, the specials, all that happened before and during Season 1 and 2 to get us prepared for Season 3; I just finished watching it. And that helped bring everyone together in such unbreakable bonds. Like Kingdom Hearts in a way if you think about it.

And now we wait for 2020 ... overall, the bonds of friendship everyone has in this show, not just with swimming but with each other, are so clear. All these characters above are all so likable once they move past their personal trials to really shine. I love them all; especially Haru and Rin. Such an OTP.

The Unusual Suspects-Chapters 4-7

Okay so as promised here is the next chunk. I wanted to four chapters on this so the last chunk could just be the last three since those tend to have the most changes. 

As always let me know what you think! It seems MB has a bad habit of giving away Sabrina’s lines...

Chapter Four:

Sabrina describes that seeing a dead body for the first time made her feel numb. Good addition. I think it makes it feel more real, like these things that happen to them have impact.

Canis has Granny’s line about Ferry Port Landing having all of these magical creatures but sure, monsters are crazy.

Charming and Hamlin argue that no everafter in town is stupid enough to murder a human. I like this addition a lot because it immediately makes in clear only someone crazy would do this.

Canis also has Sabrina’s line about the hand print “blowing in through the window”. MB is making Canis snarkier.

Seven has Sabrina’s line about Charming being called “Billy” is so sweet he’s going to get a cavity.

PLEASE stop giving Sabrina’s lines away. Please.

Hamlin says this a job for the police and he wants to keep it quiet.

Sabrina argues that this is just a distraction keeping them from finding her parents. Granny argues that she spends most of her time looking for them but that they can’t shirk their responsibilities to the town either.  Another really good addition.

Charming explains more fully why he is deputizing them. He says that if they don’t stop the murderer he won’t get stopped at all.

There’s a funny exchange where Daphne is questioning Charming about his love for Snow and Charming says it is complicated. Then he seems to realize who he is talking to and explodes. “Why am I talking to you about this??” I literally laughed out loud at this, I can’t even tell you why.

Granny tells Sabrina to “trust her grandmother has a plan for every possibility” in relation to Mr. Canis and the Wolf.

Frog-Bella says I spy something “yummy” instead of something dead.

Chapter Five:

Mr. Canis says that it was Basil who told him that Relda is forbidden from driving in Germany. This was also apparently made into federal law.

When Granny starts driving Mr. Canis says “children, put on your seatbelts and if you have any final words for your maker, I suggest you pray” Another amazing addition. This one had me chuckling for days afterwards.

Granny shouts, “I feel so alive!” and Canis says that he almost feels sorry for the “ugly thing.” (meaning Frog-Bella of course)

Granny runs down shrubs, a fence, and four mailboxes without blinking. Canis calmly suggests she stays on the road.

Bella immediately identifies Canis as the Big Bad Wolf, which doesn’t happen in the first book.

The interaction between Canis and Puck when Granny tells Puck to fetch the widow is different. Canis doesn’t threaten to sic the Wolf on him but yells a lot and Puck seems more hurt by it this time. Canis tells Relda that he was too hard on him.

When the find Rumpelstiltskin’s secret nature, Granny says that Matilida thought he could manipulate people into making bad choices, a clear set up for later.

The Widow doesn’t blame the Piper, but says it was the Scarlet Hand.

Chapter Six:

The meeting with Mirror after the Widow leaves is completely gone. I’m not done with the book yet but I’m over half way and it doesn’t seem to pop up anywhere else. Cutting scenes with Mirror seems like a poor decision since I think the one thing MB did right was set up Mirror as a good guy before the big reveal.

Also, Wendell really hams it up with the detective movie stuff. He talks in a fake voice and quotes old movies.

Chapter Seven:

Puck no longer calls Wendell “fat boy”, going along with earlier changes.

When the bunnies start chasing them Puck tells the girls to tell him to shut up next time. (This isn’t changed) but this time Sabrina rolls her eyes and goes ���As if you would listen!”

When Puck flies them through the house and Daphne kicks the meal off the table, the little boys no longer look up and see them flying. I always liked that the boys saw them so I’m a little sad that this is gone.

When they fall into the Hudson, before Daphne swims ashore there is a bigger conversation  between her and Sabrina. Daphne expresses how worried she is about Puck and Sabrina reassures her that “Puck is tough”

Instead of calling the monster a bigfoot, Snow calls it a gorilla. Not sure why this was an intentional change. I suppose Bigfoot along with other urban legends could technically exist in this universe?

Along with that Snow specifically mentions that she found them near Bannerman Island, further tying that spot to the barrier for later I suppose.

Puck offhandedly says “This town is lousy with monsters” when Snow is talking about Natalie and it makes me laugh.

Granny says she is no closer to finding Henry and Veronica than she was a year ago, rather than six months.

The conversation between Granny and Sabrina is slightly different but the content is the same. A word here or there or the sentences are moved around.

Principle Hamlin says that he “traded a few punches [with Henry] back in the day, and Basil, well he and I never saw eye to eye.” I like this because before it was just a line about how Hamlin didn’t get along with the Grimms. When Granny reassures him it’s okay and that they will find Wendall, Hamlin says that he thinks he had the family all wrong before now. I like this because it drives home that Everafters aren’t all alike, and they are also capable of change. Obviously this is a major topic since Sabrina is struggling with it so much.

When Sabrina asks Canis if remembering the ones he hurt helps him stay calm, Canis’ answer is different. He no longer says it reminds him of his guilt, he says it “gives me a reason to try.”

Out of these chapters I’m really most upset about the missing exchange with Mirror. Why take those scenes away?? IT DOESN’T MAKE SENSE MB

I remember the hype behind Sonic the Hedgehog 3 like it was yesterday! The 16-bit Sonic games are some of my favorite games of all time and Sega went all in with this one. It was so big that it had to be split into two games for crying out loud! Today I am going super-fast as I take a look at one of the finest platform games the Sega Genes/Mega Drive has to offer.

This Time The Stakes Are Super High!

Talking about the “story” of this game is rather hard. You see to get the complete experience you need Sonic & Knuckles as well. However, Sega went all in with this one. Once again Robotnik is causing trouble. However, he is being assisted by Knuckles who thinks that Sonic is bad, not to mention there is now a giant Chaos Emerald as well. It is crazy stuff and things just feel much “larger” in scale than in the previous Sonic games.

Getting It All Out Of The Genesis

The visuals of Sonic the Hedgehog 3 are some of the best that the Genesis has to offer. The leap from Sonic 2 to this is just staggering and it is one aspect of the game that does not get talked about enough for me. Each of the zones has its own style, but the amount of details and scope of each one is amazing. From the lush jungles of Angel Island to the wackiness of Carnival Zone to the breathtakingly cold Ice Cap Zone. Each section of the game has its own theme and style.

Go Hedgehog!

The soundtrack is amazing as you would expect from a Sonic game. While we all know that the tunes from the first game are classics. If I had to pick a favorite soundtrack from the Sonic series hands down it would be Sonic the Hedgehog 3. There has always been the rumor that Michael Jackson had something to do with this. I do not know for sure if that is true (I like to think it is) what I can tell you for sure is that the music in this game is awesome!

Short, But Sweet

The biggest complaint that most people and myself have about this game is the length. It is far too short! They give you a save game feature which is cool, but I feel this was really there for Sonic & Knuckles. While the game is very short, the levels are rather large, there is a new mini-game, and getting those Chaos Emeralds is as tough as it has ever been. So yes, you can get through the game fairly quickly, but the fact is this game is amazing from start to end.

Sonic controls just like he always has done. There are some new things added to the game. Tails is much more useful this time around and if you are stuck being player 2 and you have to be Tails, it is much more enjoyable. The biggest difference in the gameplay is the power-ups. Now Mario can no longer judge Sonic for a lack of power-ups as Sonic has some of his own. He can use a fire shield that can make him burst forward in a flame ball! A water bubble that lets him breathe underwater and bounce, he can also use a magnetic shield that will attract rings. These are a lot of fun to use and they let you take a hit before you lose your rings.

Look we all know that Sonic the Hedgehog 3 is only half the experience of what Sega intended. However, even without Sonic & Knuckles locked on this is a truly amazing platform game. It is a bit on the short side, but from start to end this is one hell of a thrill ride and it is the perfect challenge for those of us who had mastered Sonic 1 and 2.

Summary: AU. You have recently moved and started interning in the best hospital in the country when you meet a mysterious in your local café.

A/N: This is my fic for @teamfreewill-imagine ‘s 21st Birthday Celebration. I chose Barista!Sam and this is the resulting. Hope you guys enjoy it. Happy early birthday Jamie! - Sinéad

(Also all my medical knowledge I used in this is from the few season of Greys Anatomy I have watched and from the internet so I apologize if it isn't very accurate.)

This was it. Your first day of your residency at the best hospital in the country. You had spent almost decade in different schools getting your degree and now you had finally made it. They had been the hardest years of your life but you made it out and now you couldn’t wait to begin working as a surgical intern as you began your journey to become the surgeon you had wanted to be for as long as you could remember.

Moving away from your family was hard but you knew it was worth it if you wanted the best education you could get. Your new apartment was small, but it didn’t matter as you were planning on spending as much time as you could at the hospital. You didn’t really know your way around the town. You woke up an hour before your alarm, hoping to explore the area and find a decent coffee shop before heading to work.

You drove around the unfamiliar streets, soon finding a café not even five minutes away from your apartment and ten minutes away from the hospital. Silently celebrating, you got out of your car and walked into the café. You were met with the recognizable smell of strong coffee filled your senses. You looked around, noticing the comfy sofas and velvety armchairs huddled around each other, giving the place a cozy feel.

You approached the till while rummaging through your bag for your wallet, unable to find it due to the overflow of notes flooding your bag. You placed your bag at the edge of the till still searching for your money while apologizing profusely to the barista behind the counter.

‘It’s fine,’’ he replied, his deep, sultry voice surprising you and drawing your gaze up to him. You were met with an unexpected sight: a gorgeous man, well over six foot with long, tousled, dark hair framing his face. His warm, hazel eyes bore into yours, waiting for a response. You gaped at him, too distracted by the apron showcasing the café’s logo that was stretched across his chest, displaying his toned torso.

The barista coughed, drawing your attention back to his face. He gave you a questioning look and you realized that he had said something to you.

‘’Oh, I’m sorry! Did you say something?’’ You enquired, gawking at him as his watched you and his questioning look turned amused. He laughed and rubbed the back of his neck before repeating.

‘’I asked if you were new around here. I usually recognize everyone that lives around here and I certain I couldn’t forget a face like yours,’’ Your face fell in confusion as you furrowed your brow at him. ‘’No, not like that! I mean not in a bad way! I meant to say that that you I couldn’t forget someone that was as gorgeous as you!’’

You ducked your head and chuckled while your face heated up and surely turned as red as a tomato. You finally brought your face back to eye level, seeing that the barista had turned equally as pink as you had.

‘’Well… umm… thank you. You’re right, today’s my first day interning down at the hospital. Thought I better find the best coffee shop in town, you know?’’

‘’I’m glad you came here. Best coffee in town. So, what can I get you?’’

‘’I’ll just have a large soy latte, thanks. I’m holding you to that claim. How much?’’ You finally pulled your wallet out and grabbed a twenty.

‘’Ok, that’ll be $3. Can I get a name for the cup?’’

‘’Y/N.’’ You handed him the money, both of your hands lingering for a second too long. He handed the cup to the other barista, a slightly shorter one with lighter hair and freckled skin. He gave you a flirty smirk before getting a dig in the ribs from his co-worker.

You ignored it, walked down to the other end of the counter where the drinks were served, waiting for your order. After a minute or two, you saw the taller barista push passed his colleague and make his way towards you, Styrofoam cup in his hand. You beamed as he rested his arms against the counter and announced while smiling at you:

‘’Soy latte, Y/N?’’

You carefully took the cup from his hands, thanked him and took a sip. And, god, was he right! That had to be the best cup of coffee you’d ever had. It was the perfect temperature; the sweet but slightly bitter taste had warmed you up from the inside out and filled you with happiness. You let out a moan of pure delight before turning to him.

‘’Oh my god, you were right This is the best cup of coffee I’ve ever had!’’

‘’Thanks! My family has been doing this for as long as I can remember so I know a thing or two about coffee,’’ He answered, chuckling at your enthusiasm.

‘’Thank you for this, but I really got to go. I don’t want to be late on my first day!’’

He laughed, saying goodbye before he walked back behind the counter, the grin still evident on his face.

You walked away and as you left the shop, you glanced down at the cup and saw what he had scribbled on it.

‘Soy latte. Y/N. Good Luck! ❤ ‘

You let a little dreamy sigh to yourself, smiling as you walked to your car and drove to the hospital, ready for a long day of work.

It had been a long week, full of work, work, work and more work. You knew that life as an intern would be tough but your first week had been exhausting. Once again, you pushed open the door to ‘Winchester Coffee Co.’, the place that you had been spending a lot of your time in between shift, trying to stay awake and caffeinated.

You had formed a special bond with the tall, dark and handsome barista that had served you the first day you came. He made sure he attended you every time you came and he left cute little messages and love hearts on your coffee cup.

You walked up to the counter, ordering your usual and smiling at the mysterious barista (you sadly hadn't had a chance to learn his name yet, so you and your friends had decided to call him mysterious barista, or MB for short). You paid and walked down the café when suddenly your phone rang. You pulled it out of the pocket of your scrubs, seeing your best friends name flash on the screen. You picked up immediately, a smile already forming on your face, waiting for them to speak.

‘’Y/N! What are you up to?’’

‘’Nothing much, just getting coffee before my shift.’’

‘’Oh my god! Again? God, you must really like that barista if you’re going that often. I swear you’d think you were obsessed or something.’’

‘’Hey, I am not obsessed!’’ You defended, keeping your voice low in case someone working here heard you. ‘’The coffee just really good!’’

‘’Yeah, I’m sure,’’ they replied, sarcasm obvious in their voice, even if it was just through the phone. ‘’Just ask him out already!’’

‘’I’m not asking him out! He’d never say yes! Anyway, I gotta’ go, my drink’s nearly ready.’’

You hung up, ignoring your friend’s protests, placed the phone back into your pocket and approached the counter. You saw MB and the other barista (his older brother, you had learned during the week) talking as MB finished making your drink and writing on your cup. MB’s brother smacked him on the back, saying something that sounded like ‘c’mon, ask her out!’ but you were probably imagining it. Sighing slightly, you leaned your elbows against the counter and waited for your drink. MB made his way over to you, handed you your coffee and smiled at you,

‘’I made something different for you today; it’s kind of like what you usually get, just sweeter and better,’’ he told you, smirking at you with a slightly evocative glint in his eye and immediately your face heated up.

You gratefully accepted the drink, bringing it to your nose as you breathed in the scent of your usual soy latte but there were underlying hints of cinnamon and nutmeg. You swallowed a large gulp of the drink, and it was heaven. The spices danced around your palette, filling you with warmth and it made the smile on your face grow even widen even more.

‘’God, this is good, Like, crazy good!’’

He chuckled, his laugh was silky and smooth and it raised hairs on the back of your neck. ‘’Thanks, I’ve been working on this for the past few days so I’m glad you like it.’’

‘’Well, thank you for that…’’ You trailed off as you remembered you still didn’t know his name.

‘’I’m Sam by the way. I thought I know your name, so I thought you might want to mine, you know?’’

‘’Sam. I like it. It's nice to put a name to the face of the cute barista,’’ Your eyes widened as you realized you had said that aloud. ‘’Oh crap. I… umm… I didn’t mean to say that. Please just ignore that. Oh god. Please ignore that.’’

The blush that had been placed there by Sam’s gaze had now been with replaced by burning hot embarrassment that pulsed through your veins quickly and flooded through your limbs. You looked back at Sam to see his face was also flushed. His brother walked over and you both ducked your heads down. He looked between both of you before speaking.

‘’Okay well this is awkward,’’ He coughed before continuing. ‘’So, Sammy, when you’re done flirting with your girlfriend here, can you get back to work?’’

Sam instantly turned and slapped his brother hard on the arm before pushing him away and yelling at him.

‘’Shut the hell up, Dean!’’ He snapped, before turning to you. ‘’I’m so sorry, ignore him.’’

‘’It’s fine,’’ You assured him.

‘’For the record, I think you’re cute too. I’ve got to get back to work but just… umm… just read the cup, okay?’’

‘’Okay? I guess I’ll see you around Sam,’’ You replied, completely confused by Sam’s request.

‘’I hope so, Y/N. I hope so.’’

Now even more confused, you grabbed your coffee and walked out of the café. You looked down at the cup as you walked down the street to your car and almost squealed when you read it. It was a series of numbers that you presumed was Sam’s phone number accompanied by the phrase ‘call me?’. Oh my god, he had actually asked you out! You had to stop yourself from practically jumping up and down as you pulled your phone back out and called your best friend. They picked up after no less than two rings and you told your story.

‘’First things first, his name is Sam,’’ You began, continuing before you could be interrupted. ‘’Second thing, I may or may not have gotten his number…’’

You trailed off as you waited for your friends most likely exaggerated and excited reaction. You were right and soon enough you heard what sounded like a squeal coming from the other end of the phone. Your head fell back and you laughed heartfully. Your friend started firing questions at you through the phone, wanting as many details as possible. You answered every single one of their question, though truthfully, you weren’t really paying attention You couldn’t get your mind off Sam, and when you should call him up to go on a coffee date.

Day 4: Kino

Kino! Today is Kino’s day!!!

He’s the newest member of these beauties!!! xD

To be honest, when I was “informed” that in the new game (LE) there was going to be a new boy I was like: “WHAT?! ANOTHER ONE?! NO! MY POOR BABY YUI IS GOING THROUGH THIS AGAIN?!” Then I saw the “trailer” of the game and when I saw him…it was love at first time xD. I thought that he was handsome, but not that much ¯\_(ツ)_/¯.

Then, as it was to be expected, he was one of the first to be translated (I’m talking about the LE CD Dramas that came first). I listened to his CD and…OMG!! He was a troll!! And his voice actor was amazing!!! I loved his personality and the fact that he loved guava juice xD.

He was really cruel and weird during his first scenarios. I do hated him but then all changed when he decided out of nowhere to fell in love with Yui. It was so sudden that it was like “Wait…WHAT?”. But as the route continued...It was impossible for me not to love him. During his last scenarios he was such a sweety pie (/ω＼). His heaven scenarios were so sweet that I was a blushing mess ⁄(⁄ ⁄ ⁄ω⁄ ⁄ ⁄)⁄ . (I personally love his heaven 1).

Some people in the fanodm thought he was “too sweet” or “too soft” for being a character of the DL world. But that was his route....then I saw his interventions as the villan (which he is). It was the same case as the Tsukinamis in DF and the Mukami in MB (even the Sakamakis were villans in HDB themselves!). But...damn Kino truly is a jerk! (and for me to write it is weird LOL). But when I read the Tsukinamis as villans, I hated them! But in Kino’s case...I loved twice as much! He was so funny yet there were times I wanted Kino to dissapeared! I love-hate realtionship is how I discribe my love for Kino.

Kino is such a lovely character (I know I’m weird :p): He’s such a jerk, he knows how to manipulate with his past, his past torment him, his relationship with Yuuri is so touching, his hobbis, his evolution during is drastic with Yui’s love, he can de crazy and unstable, he’s a two face and most importantly.... he’s so sweet when he’s in love ⁄(⁄ ⁄ ⁄ω⁄ ⁄ ⁄)⁄ . For me Kino is evil with tha perfect amount of sassyness, humor and cheesyness I was looking for. ∠( ᐛ 」∠)＿

(confession: He’s my husbando 2. I can’t get enough of his sarcasm and maniac laughs. He’s relation with Yui is touching and (even though they aren’t my OTP) I think they look adorable together! I want a Kino in my life: fun and cheesyness (with the perfect amput of bulling) awaits me with Kino next to me! I’m sure of it! *-*)

The Close Up - Kwasi Adu-Basowah

In this edition of The Close Up, MB writer Clayton Conway approached Kwasi Adu-Basowah with the question of what this game has meant to him and what it has done for him personally. We all have a love and passion for this game, and Kwasi displays that every time he steps into the gym or discusses the game with you.

For those of you who do not know Kwasi, he is a savvy player whose versatility and endless effort are a handful for any opponent. He has won multiple championships across the MB landscape, and was also voted the MVP of the 2016 Advanced On Point Free Agent League. His workmanlike approach on the court is well known by his peers, and is shown by the amount of teams recruiting his services each year. Here is his story…

I liked her but I didn’t love her

Sports have always been a huge part of my life. I remember the soccer rivalries in elementary school. I remember destroying kids who were playing rep soccer and who thought they were nice. People would tell me I had great potential with soccer but I didn’t feel it. I played in a house league one year and helped the worst team make it to the finals.

In high school, I was MVP for my senior soccer team. I was stronger, faster, and bigger than everyone else on the field at all times. As much fun as it was to win, I never fell in love with soccer. My final year of high school is where I got a season ending ankle injury during a soccer game that basically ended my season. I wasn’t able to finish my soccer season and potentially get a scholarship. I wasn’t able to compete in track and field where I’d been training for months. I couldn’t even go to ball runs. This was a very depressing time for me.

The only thing I could do once I was back on my feet was make layups and shoot midrange jumpers. As I recovered, I became more risky. While I was still limping someone dared me to try and dunk using my one good leg. Like the stupid fool I am, I tried and was successful (I was still bouncy then). It felt amazing to be able to dunk again. Every day I would go to the gym in between classes and shoot around or test out my legs. I was in college at this point so the freedom was real! It was too late to try out for my college team by the time I recovered so I just spent that first year dunking on well-intentioned defenders on various courts throughout the GTA.

I’d be down for basketball anywhere in the city. I remember taking the TTC from the west end to the east end for some ball runs. In hindsight this was crazy but that’s how much the sport was growing on me. This is what was missing with soccer. I liked her but I didn’t love her like I did basketball.

I had been wandering the streets jumping into random hood men’s leagues aimlessly when one of my boys from college ball runs called me up to play in Megacity Basketball (MB). I had not heard of the league at this point but after a quick google search I was excited AF. I remember that first game, wanting to prove I could contribute with the limited minutes I got. I remember checking the box score to see that I had a double-double in what felt like 2 secs of play. I was starting on that team before I knew it.

The competition was great, the Megacity staff and the facilities were great, and the jerseys were so dope. That stuck out like crazy to me. At the time, this was something not being done by any other league in the city. The jerseys made the whole thing feel real. I will be eternally grateful to the man that put me on lol (Shoutout Ian G). At the end of that season, I knew I would be playing and repping MB for a long time to come.

Over the last 6 years of playing in Megacity, I have witnessed the league unite the basketball community. We had players from Niagara and Hamilton driving down on Sundays just to get the chance to lose to the OG Sonics. The league expanded and continued to grow., the work they put in has definitely showed. This league is truly something special. Through it, I have made several lifelong friendships and teammates. Basketball also helps to give an escape. Anyone who knows me is aware that I cannot go a whole game without smiling. That’s how much I enjoy this game.

My only regret is that I didn’t fall in love with the sport earlier. I was in my early to mid-twenties when I got addicted. I basically wasted the dormant “Ibaka” within and didn’t give him the chance to flourish. I settled with being an Amir Johnson. That’s why I encourage the younger guys in my family to play how they want to play and be what they want to be. I can’t think of anything that I enjoyed more than getting my family together to run last summer. I am a decade older than these kids so my time being able to run with them is counting down but I will enjoy it while I can.

After falling short in the 2016 Summer Comp. Tuesday final, Kwasi would go on and add 2 additional championships to his prestigious resume’ as he picked up one in the 2016 Fall Comp. Tuesday division with New Era. Also, he was able to experience sweet glory in securing a championship with his familia squad, the Reach in the 2017 Summer Vaughan division in Megacity Basketball. Congrats Capt. Kwasi and thank you being a part of Megacity Basketball!
