Would gordon be tortured by the incredibly strong desire to understand how in the world borrower!barney exists, or would he just hand-wave it like, “That must be very interesting biologically, but i am not a biology person.”

#on the one hand i think it would be extremely fascinating to someone who seeks to understand the universe even if it’s not their usual-#-focus #on the other hand it’s like #‘i would need to understand a lot more about biology before i could begin to pursue study of the relevant questions’#’suffice it to say it’s very cool but it doesn’t affect my focus of study so…’#at first i thought borrowers weren’t possible from a physics standpoint - pupils too small for enough light to get in and such #but i think maybe that’s not the case because yknow. there are extremely small reptiles that seem to be doing alright.#so i assume the question is mostly biological #though maybe it’s a physics question wrt how a teeny teeny tiny tiny brain can fit human-level intelligence haha #anyway i am supposed to be doing something else right now and that is why i am reading theoretical physicist reddit AMAs
