#Ned wants to trust and rely on crozier soooo bad #but at this point his leadership is so fundamentally broken #Ned has no real reason to view him as anything other than a drunken tyrant #he’s relied on jopson in the past but there’s only so much power he has #how much would have been different if crozier had trusted Ned a bit more #with ned and jopson's past collaboration (those scripts!!!) i wonder how often they had hushed conversations just out of frame #pertaining to crozier and his leadership #they were at least close enough that edward's genuinely pleased with thomas' promotion
