Hello lovelies! . Eight months into the year and there's an @theawkwardyeti comic I can't relate too. I mean, my heart's just fine, to the best of my knowledge. But my body doesn't like doing the whole gas exchange thing properly. Even this morning, I had to use my rescue inhaler at work. I'd only been there an hour. Kudos to my lungs though, it's been awhile since I've needed to use it. Which makes me all the more mad about people not wearing masks. I wear one because I'm high risk and the 1% protection it gives me is better than the zero I'd have otherwise because "people have valid reasons for not wearing masks." And some are just not willing to be slightly uncomfortable (like an unnamed coworker) to not put their high-risk coworker and the immunocompromised person she lives with at risk. So you're not sick. You could still be an asymptomatic carrier. And you really want to do our job solo if you are? I think not. . Sorry for the wall of text. I actually had a decent day. I'm just annoyed because I'm still waiting on test results and the #pandemic is a little more real to #spoonies. So please, wear a mask or find someone who can/will to do your errands. . Some are motivated by self preservation. Some by altruism. half of the hospitalized critically sick and dying with COVID-19 are YOUNG and previously "low risk" in Italy France & Spain. I used to live in Italy. I'm hearing horrible reports of triage. Italians are singing from.Balconies because they wouldn't stay inside. They went to the Piazzas,,the parks, the beach some believing they weren't high risk so they wouldn't spread it outdoors or while visiting friends and families. We have had young not considered high risk COVID-19 cases in ICUs in the USA for at least a few weeks now. I get it. people were not told the truth about what is going on. Others willfully ignore.
