Con sus casi 7.000 msnm es imposible que pase desapercibido. Se puede ver fácilmente desde Mendoza como de la bahía de Valparaíso. Cuando viajes en avión es muy normal verlo, se destaca fácilmente al lado del resto con sus casi 7km de alto. Además es muy fotogénico, con una forma que pareciera un volcán. 🌌 I had full intentions of doing a bunch of star shots on this trip but each time I woke up I ended up getting caught up in the stillness, peace, and beauty of everything. Oh and the TWO meteor showers going on. #Repost @astrophotoross with @get_repost ・・・ The Cygnus Wall in NGC7000, Cygnus This area of the sky is so good, brightness contrast between the dust that sits between NGC7000 and the Pelican nebulae as well as the colour contrast of the wall itself set against the main body of NGC7000 itself This is a H,H+O,O narrowband composition built using data from my colour camera using a Radian Triad Ultra Quadband. From the raw stack, the red channel is Ha and stays in red, I create a blend of the green and blue channel which is mostly O and assign that to blue in the final image. Hace mucho que me llama la atención el concepto de estrellas v/s santiago, si bien tenemos una pésima contaminación lumínica que no ayuda para nada, depende mucho también de dónde nos encontremos. Desde los cerros, en una mejor altura sobre las luces, un día sin luna es posible ver y disfrutar de las esquivas estrellas sobre nosotros. Igualmente para ayudar a resaltarlas tomé 21 fotografías seguidas y que así se pudiesen destacar más, en especial a la izquierda donde se ve que está el centro Galáctico por la acumulación de estrellas. Astrônomos encontraram um buraco negro com a massa de 40 bilhões de sóis Um trabalho publicado na revista The Astrophysical Journal detalha a descoberta de um buraco negro gigantesco, com a massa de 40 bilhões de sóis. Ele fica no centro da Holmberg 15A, uma galáxia elíptica supergigante a cerca de 700 milhões de anos-luz de distância de nós, mais precisamente no aglomerado de galáxias Abell 85. Este é um dos maiores buracos negros encontrados, e o maior encontrado ao acompanhar o movimento de estrelas ao seu redor. “O Buraco Negro Supermassivo do Holm 15A não é apenas o mais massivo até agora, mas é entre quatro a nove vezes maior do que o esperado tendo em vista a protuberância da massa estelar e a velocidade de dispersão estelar da galáxia”, dizem os autores no trabalho. “Este é o buraco negro mais massivo com detecção dinâmica direta no Universo local”. Apenas para se ter uma ideia, Plutão tem 39,5 unidades astronômicas (UA) de distância do sol. Já o horizonte de evento desse buraco negro, ou seja, o ponto de não-retorno, tem cerca de 790 UA. Isso não significa que esse seja o maior buraco negro já detectado. O quasar TON 618 tem um buraco negro de 66 bilhões sóis, baseado em medições indiretas.
