Thinking about this Jellycat Astrotastic Planet Plush and how cute this little friend is. I wonder if Jelly cat would make the other planets and sell it as a solar system set. That would be cool but I know pluto wouldn't be included.

Jellycat released a bunch of space-themed designs a few years ago. Most of them are very hard to find now. I hope they will release a planet series next year, such as "Phenomenal Planet Saturn", "Phenomenal Planet Neptune" and so on... Right now, the closest thing to "space-themed" available are stars, moons and suns.

For Christmas break after their first semester at their respective universities, aurusallos and astrotastic got to take a trip back home to Utah where they left poor old sciencetoastudent all alone.

It was great to get to see these great friends once again.  (I recommend their blogs, readers!)  We spent the afternoon at The Natural History Museum of Utah.

i think about this when I’m in my statistics class, which makes me think of understanding life through math. Very entertaining to think abt.

Yeah like what if in the near or distant future someone figures out a pattern that changes our understanding of nature so much even our technology and way of thinking must be reshaped drastically in order for us to survive more efficiently, resourcefully, intelligently in much the same way Einstein's equations (patterns) reshaped the modern world. I'm so excited and hopeful of someone finding such a set of patterns already existing within nature that could fuel our progress to such an extent that life as we know is completely changed.
