Madriddom!
Here is the concept of one of the cities in my story/rpg.
Madriddom is a free city, blessed by the gods, any species can live there.
Divided into areas:
Sailboat Bay.
Where everyone comes from there, the port, to enter Madriddom needs to be inspected by the muffin mafia. It is also the place where most of the population lives. At the beginning of the port there is the lighthouse, "Wandering Light" Just behind is the coliseum where the centaurs live running, the "Hull Hall". (I'm dying) It is also linked to a dense and strange forest, with black and white colors that surround the city's casino, "Lucydreams". (Someone kill me for the jokes..) And not least, a "cemetery", where they leave the ashes of those who were, "Stellar Seas"
Altiora.
Where the nobility lives, the city's magnates, they are always coming and going from the port, but they hate it when someone from there steps into "their territory". They have their own cemetery, where they bury and make tombstones for the dead, "Gardens of Eternity" In the main village, there is a palace blessed by the symbol of leadership, called the "Throne of Aurion", where he left a dome as a gift that only the nobility enters, the "Dome of Destiny". The house in the middle of the water is the Guild! It has portals for all areas for people to make commissions and orders, it's called "Bay Shipwreck" (I CHOSE THAT NAME BECAUSE OF A BAD JOKE! AAAAAH-)
This "floating circus" is the SECRET base of the evil character of one of my best friends (one of the players who played a villainous clown qwp).
Abyssal District.
Where the city's aquatic beings live, it also houses the "Bastille of the Abyss", the city's prison where it only holds beings that don't breathe underwater.
Highvalley.
The most separated districts of the city, being connected to each other, have a starting order, being "Eagles Refuge", "Hidden Rock" and "Eternal Snows". (From right to left)
Eagles Refuge, is where hybrid species of birds live, the whole place has training grounds for hunting that harpies love.
Hidden Rock, a place for beings who like underground places more, where dwarves spend most of their time, having the great "Runic Flame" forge. On your way there you pass Madriddom's magic school, "Fragment Academy".
Eternal Snows, as the name suggests, is where species that like the cold live, there is a large pine forest next door.
Golden Dunes.
Known for the hottest part of the region, it is inhabited by hermits and desert species, but it also contains the largest library in the city, "Reflexes of Jupiter", and a very famous academy, enrolling not only magic users or nobility, but anyone with a knowledge that can be polished, "Stellon". There they also follow in the footsteps of Anubis, studying astronomy and astrology. There is also an underground prison here, the "Salt Throne", where aquatic and arctic creatures are kept.

Astrology of David and Gillian
I’m pretty amateur-ish as a reader (maybe a little more than). Strap in folks because this is WOW. So UNDER THE CUT if you dare read on…
Ok first thing’s first — the birth time is missing from David’s, and Gillian’s birth time isn’t a confirmed time. So ascendant signs and moon are ify…. But I’d buy that Gillian is a highly possible Leo Rising.
Their synastry chart:
Let’s talk about THIS wow. What I see regardless of a birth time — placements that are 100% known.
Immediately noting: Her Leo Mars conj. His Leo Venus. It’s not close to each other (2° and 27°) but wow a Mars/Venus connection. Pure chemistry - intense, passionate, hot…. In a lot of areas not just sexually (although a sexual attraction is usually a pretty strong gravitation). Lots of symbiosis, flow, yin & yang. In non-sexual realms this can ebb and flow into things like really heated explosive arguments to really intimate and passionate agreements. In Leo too?? 😂 a fire sign??? This is a pendulum swing of burning hot, fast, and bright to ultra cuddly, kitten behavior. At their best, it’s instinctive, unbreakable, match-my-freak energy. At their worst, it’s impulsive, irrational, arrogant, screaming-down-the-I95 type..
His Virgo Pluto conj. Her Virgo Venus….. please. PLEASE! It’s giving karmic. It’s giving past life. It’s giving contract.
On a more basic read: a Pluto aspect to a planet in a synastry chart is going to be felt. Pluto amplifies/intensifies - makes its presence known. That is black hole energy. And it’s right next to her Venus (5° tight conjunction)???? Bay-BE! Believe them when they say they don’t have any other relationship that compares to what their’s is. It’s pure devotion (in whatever terms/category you want to place them). The Pluto person (David) sees the beauty in the ugly and dark and death of the Venus person (Gillian). And Venus loves Pluto in its dark complex entirety.
Have I mentioned this is a RARE aspect?
Venus/Pluto conj. is chemistry and attraction on a level that goes beyond explainable (the irony of MSR right? Haaaa). At its best: this is again an unbreakable and magnetic force. It’s mind body soul linking — will not, cannot forget each other. At its worst: Pluto is represented by death and the devil. It can be obsessive, possessive, territorial, toxic… This can manifest into things like jealousy, again heated fights, or also ways like: manipulation — because it’s such a consuming, intense, passionate aspect. In this sense: if Pluto is Hades, Venus is Persephone. In this case… David possibly has had issues with control when dealing with Gillian. While the love/connection is strong, there can be some irrational behavior on his end when it comes to Gillian especially if she exhibits behaviors of say breaking away from them being a unit - bc Pluto/Venus is such a “you’re my partner”.
Now you think that’s crazy… Her Lilith is conj. His Mars at an even tighter conjunction (2°). The closer the aspect, the stronger the effect.
If you thought Gillian was off the hook on the last read — GEAR UP — because she’s far from being excused. Where the Pluto/Venus can be more of an emotional atmosphere, their Lilith/Mars can manifest in a more action-driven way.
‘Animalistic’ is more apt. This is yet ANOTHER indicator of that strong, passionate, intense attraction/chemistry. Not as “get a room!” as their Mars/Venus conj. but close (I feel like Mars/Venus “get a room” can visibly seen from space, but a Lilith/Mars may be more like a “we’re already in the room”). Here brings out their more impulsive side. There is high energy, excitement, comfort with this aspect. And in Gemini?!?!!! It’s giving “you jump I jump - fuck it let’s go!” Its live wire energy can bring a heightened desire to seek each other which can also again lead to obsession and toe the line of “too involved”. With this energy they also trigger each other — deep wounds and traumas emerge but it’s a welcomed sharing. And as a result a lot of mutual experiences are created that bond them together. Gillian being the Lilith person and David the Mars — the trust she puts in his hands is very high and intimate. How the Pluto/Venus works to consume, similarly this happens here as well. So basically Gillian has a tendency to do the same that David does - jealousy, assertion, manipulation, power struggles and dominance. It’s aggressive energy. It’s like “we went through fire together. Who dares to try and usurp where I stand with you?” kind of aggressiveness (possession?).
In unrelated mentions or not? Lilith/Mars conj. pushes forth a very strong sexual attraction coupled with the impulsive nature of this aspect, it’s an attraction that is difficult to not act upon in some way. Mars energy is masculine and Lilith is “dark feminine”, together it’s combustion. So whether the ramifications of acting on the energy or not, probably yields the same result..if not worse.
Then we have the moon. Gillian is an Aquarius moon (possibly Pisces?). David is also an Aquarius moon (smaller possibility of Pisces). But if I had to really guess - I’m almost certain they have the same and it’s Aquarius. I’m an Aquarius moon myself and rather than getting down to what it means, let’s just say they love a good detachment.
But to have the same moon as someone? Home. There’s a comfort, familiarity. You process emotions the same. You feel the same. Not to mention they both are Leo suns. Leo/Aquarius are sister signs and to have both their sun/moon matching AND sister signs? It’s opposites attract when necessary, and on-the-same-page more often than not. The yin/yang flow comes naturally. It’s “I know exactly how they’ll react”. It’s instinctive. If you flow with someone without having to try and don’t have to explain your feelings much because they just “know” and they just get you without much effort? You guys probably have the same moon. And no doubt that’s what Gillian and David have.
Anyway… this was a long post. But oh well. Did we really need to consult the stars? Does this add any more proof to the truths we already know? They’ve displayed iterations of these aspects in many ways over the years (*cough* 1998) so what is really new… Anyway someone more proficient can interpret this better probably but that’s just the big ones I got - thanks!
#gillovny#ddga#david and gillian#david duchovny#gillian anderson#imma be honest…. respectfully….. if they never had sex? what a waste. explosive hot passionate soul binding….#girl if not the best then definitely top 3 experiences was 2ft in front of you#gahdamn the mars/venus alone I would fold let alone a venus/pluto????#astrology#synastry

ELLINGTON "EL" TAYLOR survived another night. The town would certainly feel less safe without a them close by. Not to mention, we can’t lose another LEVEL THREE MECHANIC, plus they’re only THIRTY-THREE years old. Crazy to think, it’s been TWO YEARS since their arrival, though in a place like Oblitus it can feel much longer. Good thing they’re staying at the RESIDENTIAL AREA. Almost like it happened yesterday, they still remember LONDON, ENGLAND, and where they came from. It’s no secret, they were LEAVING THE AIRPORT FROM A WORK TRIP when they came across the tree, and is still keeping them up at night. Truth be told, they’re awfully COMEDIC and DISTANT, but they’ve survived this long. Well, it’s almost day light again, maybe they’ll play SITTIN ON THE DOCK OF THE BAY by OTIS REDDING this time. Welcome to another night in Oblitus, please don’t open the doors. (fitz, 27, he/him, est)

BACKSTORY BULLET POINTS ( tw: addiction. overdose. death. )
Family: Youngest of three; parents instilled a love for precision (mother was a nurse, father an engineer). Childhood: Quiet, introverted, obsessed with model planes; early fascination with aircraft due to father’s influence; El's mother hurts her back lifting a patient and begins on a tumultuous path with prescription pain killers. Teen Years: Developed a passion for aviation; earned a private pilot's license at 18; inspired by father's military stories to join the Royal Air Force (RAF). Tragedy: Just before leaving for basic training for the RAF, El's mother overdoses on heroin. Military Career: Served as an aircraft technician in the RAF, excelling in aircraft quality assurance; served for five years. Education: Left the RAF and earned a Master of Engineering (MEng) in Aerospace Engineering from Imperial College London in 2019. Personal Life: Had a serious relationship with Maude, a fellow servicewoman, but they broke up due to emotional differences. Trapped: On their way back from a work trip in 2023, encountered the mysterious tree in the road and became trapped in a strange town with no way out. Life in Town: Struggles with anxiety and the loss of routine but uses their problem-solving skills and military training to contribute to the community.
WHERE WAS YOUR CHARACTER WHEN THEY SAW THE TREE AND THE MURDER OF CROWS? WHERE WERE THEY GOING? WERE THEY TRAVELLING ALONE? HOW DID THEY FEEL?
As El returned from a work trip, their mind was still filled with thoughts of quality checks on the latest aircraft. The long day at the facility had drained them, yet the routine of their job had provided a comforting structure amid the chaos of the town they found themselves in. The evening air was cool as they drove, the familiar route easing their mind, but the calm was shattered when they encountered a massive fallen tree blocking the road. “Of course there’s a tree in the road,” El muttered, rubbing the back of their neck as they slowed the car. The sight felt surreal—like something out of a horror film rather than the mundane reality they had come to accept. The tree lay sprawled across the asphalt, roots exposed like the twisted fingers of a buried hand clawing for freedom. They parked a few feet away and stepped out, heart racing as the cawing of a murder of crows echoed ominously overhead. “What now?” El sighed, running a hand through their brown hair. The tree, large and menacing, seemed to loom over them, its presence a stark reminder that this town was anything but ordinary. El's analytical mind, trained to assess and diagnose issues in aircraft systems, began to work overtime. “This must have fallen recently,” they thought, observing the fresh splintering at the base and the disturbed ground. Their engineer instincts kicked in, but an unsettling feeling prickled at their skin. The air felt heavy, as if the tree had absorbed the darkness of the night. Stepping closer, El felt a wave of anxiety wash over them. The crows’ caws intensified, and they glanced up, trying to read the sky for answers. “It’s just a tree, right?” they reasoned, but something in their gut whispered otherwise. They took a deep breath, trying to shake off the discomfort that had settled in. “Just get past it, El,” they urged themselves, but the sight of the tree held them captive. The serene world of aircraft engineering felt a million miles away. “What if this is a sign?” El took a step back, the urge to turn around growing stronger. Their practical nature battled with an emotional intuition that had been sharpened by their experiences in this strange place. “No need to tempt fate,” they decided, finally pivoting on their heel, ready to find another route.
DESCRIBE YOUR CHARACTERS FIRST DAY/NIGHT IN TOWN. DID THEY ARRIVE IN THE DAYTIME? WERE THEY WARNED BY THE RESIDENTS? DID THEY HAVE TO BE RESTRAINED?
El's first day in town was a slow descent into confusion and dread. After arriving in the late afternoon, they felt an uneasy air of anticipation wrapping around them. The sun hung low, casting an orange hue over the streets, but as they drove through, an unsettling realization struck: every turn led them back to the same spot. It was as if the town itself conspired against them, trapping them within its confines. After several frustrating attempts to leave, El began to feel the weight of impending nightfall pressing down on them. Just as the last rays of sunlight dipped below the horizon, they spotted a townsfolk wandering by—a woman with wide eyes, her demeanor frantic and wild. Desperation surged through El as they pulled over, stepping out of the car and rushing toward her. “Please, can you help me? I can’t leave!” they exclaimed, shaking her shoulders gently. “What is happening here? Why can’t I get out?” The woman’s eyes widened in alarm, and she took a step back, her hands trembling. “You have to stay away from the trees and—” she started, but El’s mind raced, logic slipping away as panic gripped their chest. In an instant, the serene engineer was replaced by a whirlwind of anxiety. “No! This doesn’t make sense!” El gasped, their breath coming in quick bursts. The world around them began to spin, shadows stretching and creeping closer, and they could feel the pressure building in their chest as the realization of their captivity hit home. “Breathe, El! Just breathe!” they muttered to themselves, trying to cling to the remnants of their calm nature, but it felt futile. The anxiety attack washed over them like a tidal wave, and they stumbled back, disoriented and gasping for air. Within moments, the townspeople had gathered, understanding the urgency of the situation. They moved in, gentle but firm, restraining El as the darkness thickened around them. “You can’t be out here when it’s dark,” one of them said, voice steady, almost soothing amidst the chaos. El's heart raced, and they fought against their hold, a mixture of fear and frustration coursing through them. “I just want to go home!” they cried out, but deep down, they knew that was no longer an option. The sun had set, and with it, the true nature of this place began to reveal itself. As night enveloped the town, El felt the reality of their situation sink in, the comforting familiarity of their engineer’s mind now a distant memory.
WHAT DID THEY LEAVE BEHIND? WHAT WAS THEIR LIFE LIKE ON THE OUTSIDE?
Before El found themselves trapped in the mysterious town, their life outside was one of structured routine and quiet heartache. As an aerospace engineer, El thrived in their work, meticulously overseeing quality checks on aircraft and collaborating with a dedicated team. Their days were filled with problem-solving and innovation, but the weight of a recent breakup lingered heavily on their shoulders. El's life was centered in London, where they lived in a cozy apartment adorned with model planes, vinyl records, and a small herb garden that they tended to with care. Although they cherished the serene evenings spent stargazing from their balcony, contemplating the vastness of the universe, the shadows of their past relationship cast a long pall over their thoughts. El had recently broken up with Lila, an artist whose vibrant spirit had once breathed life into their more structured world. Their relationship had been passionate and creative, but the differences that once attracted them eventually created rifts that were too wide to bridge. Lila’s spontaneity and free-spirited nature often clashed with El’s need for stability and routine, leading to a heartbreaking conclusion. Their last conversation still echoed in El’s mind—an emotional farewell that left them feeling adrift, yearning for the connection they had lost. Now, facing the horrors of their new reality, El felt the ache of what they had left behind—an unfulfilled life, a job they loved, and the memories of laughter and friendship shared with Lila. Those recollections became increasingly distant, tantalizing yet painfully unreachable, as they grappled with the chilling thought of whether they would ever return to that life or if they were destined to remain in this endless nightmare, haunted by both the town and the echoes of a lost love.
CONNECTIONS IDEAS
Mentor-Like Figure: El has bonded with an older resident who has been stuck in the town for much longer. This person could serve as a mentor, helping El navigate the strange rules and creatures that roam at night. Close Confidants: After two years, El has found people they trust deeply and they all rely on each other for survival. A Rivalry Turned Alliance: This is another resident who challenges El’s way of thinking, maybe someone more impulsive or emotionally driven. They clash over how to handle their entrapment, but after a crisis (like a close encounter with the night creatures), they realize that working together is the only way forward. Unspoken Romantic Tension: El develops a complex connection with someone in town who reminds them of what it is like caring for someone else romantically, sparking a mix of nostalgia and hesitation. Their connection could be subtle and unspoken for a long time, with moments of vulnerability and near-confession. The town’s dangerous environment could keep them from pursuing anything deeper out of fear of attachment and loss. Sibling Dynamic: El has taken a protective role over someone younger, perhaps a teenager or a young adult who stumbled into the town recently. This person could look up to El, relying on their patience and problem-solving abilities. Resource Exchange: El has a transactional relationship with another resident (neighbor?), where they trade resources, skills, or information. This person might be particularly good at scavenging or making life in the town bearable, while El offers practical engineering skills, such as maintaining equipment or building makeshift defenses against the night creatures. Newcomers: After being trapped for two years, El encounters a new arrival who refuses to accept the reality of the town, mirroring El's own initial reaction. The newcomer’s optimism might trigger memories of when El still believed in escape, creating a bittersweet dynamic.

I'm dying (thirstily) to hear more about the 70s San Francisco AU... the bits you've posted so far have been delicious
Thank you so much, anon! Gonna take the 'about' literally:
I haven't had a chance to work on it in ages but after this next Oaths chapter I might turn to it and see if it's ready to be finished!
I think it'll be over 15K all-told
This came from the prompt 'listen to the [#] song on your Spotify Wrapped 2022 and describe the fic you'd write for it'. Well, I am describing thoroughly, gang
I'm starting to believe I've accidentally written a fluff fic despite it being filled with bonkers levels of pining and some real angst
(the fluff is their friendship)
There is an incredibly self-indulgent scene where Hob brings a sick Dream soup and jokes he's not allowed to die because he'd be shit at elegizing him like Shelley did Keats in Adonais
It happens on Tuesdays in 1974
It features real historical events! And I find that HOT
It also has (what I think is) the hottest and most unhinged sex scene I've ever written in terms of dirty talk but that sort of thing is WILDLY subjective so. The kind where you write a sentence and then reflexively think no, no, I can't say that, that's INSANE
The biggest thing holding me back from finishing it might be that I'll have to stop writing it and it's SO delightful to write. I'll have no more excuse to go through incredible digitized editions of Bay Area Reporter from the mid-seventies, which contain spectacular ads for bathhouses and gay bars shouldering up with Harvey Milk's politics column and astrology. The personals are horny and banal and heartbreaking. Look at this page. Just one page. Look at everything it holds.
Which is to say I might make an entire post for like...queer ephemera I have gathered and now cherish but cannot actually force everyone to look at. Would people be into that?
I normally love titling but I have never gotten this deep into a fic without one in terms of wordcount or closeness to completion and I am starting to panic
#asks#seventies san francisco au#the sandman#dreamling#to think i named san francisco and 70s arbitrarily#and it took me here#sorta grateful for that#yanno?#all the things i've gotten to see and remember that i wouldn't have otherwise#just in my queer feelings and history feelings and queer history feelings

BIOGRAPHY
[ tw: abandonment, police, anxiety ]
Home was just a word Connor Rose never fully understood. Was it a person, a place, or a just feeling you’ll never get back? He never knew. Born and raised in the Aurora Bay area in California, Connor was your typical troubled kid growing up in the system. He spent most of his time in group homes in the area and got in trouble just as often as he could. The police officers in the neighborhood all knew him by name, and though he charmed his way out of real trouble most days, he was known as the kid who went around tagging buildings. Art was an outlet for him, and of course it was more fun to utilize those skills in an illegal manner.
Connor struggled not having a family of his own, especially with how often the kids around him came and went. He picked up hobbies throughout his younger years to keep his emotions at bay. Between doodling in composition books, playing the drums, and even… knitting, he kept himself distracted most days. But that need to find his family was still always there. When he was seventeen years old, he used the savings he had built up to find his birth mother. Connor snuck away from the group home and managed to get him all the way to New York City where he would finally meet his mother - Marie Rose. He built up an idea in his head of how it would go down and what her reaction would be, but he couldn’t have been more wrong. Instead of accepting him, telling him how much of a mistake it was to give him up, she wanted nothing to do with him. In fact, she was distraught and nearly offended he tracked her down. She turned him away and left Connor to finally truly realize that he was alone. There was no such thing as home.
There was a light of hope that went out that day within Connor. He grew a bit colder, a little more pessimistic than usual. He hit the drums harder and lived without a path. Once he graduated from high school, by pure miracle, he took up a job at a tattoo shop. In the beginning, he was just the receptionist. It was enough to get him by as he found himself living at an old three-story home that was converted into a small apartment complex for only a few tenants. The people who lived there became his small little family, the closest thing to home he ever had. Connor found himself struggling to connect deeply with others, that fear of abandonment always there in the back of his head. His own struggles with anxiety didn’t help the case, either. His anxiety grew so complex throughout the years that even driving a car felt too much to handle. Connor rode his bike everywhere around the city and also relied on the bus. The only solace he had was the family he built, tattooing, and playing music.
Now in his thirties, Connor still struggles but hides it well. He moved away from the little apartment he once had and now works full time at Crescent Moon Tattoo as a tattoo artist. People enjoy his company, even with his grumpy demeanor. He has a careless attitude, though he cares a little too much on the inside. When life is too much to handle, Connor normally retreats to his new apartment and secretly continues to knit (though he’ll deny it always). Though he may be a music and film snob at times, his caring heart comes out whenever he volunteers at the group homes he grew up in. If he had the money, he would’ve gone to school to be a social worker so he could take care of kids like him. He makes up for that by spending most weekends hanging out and mentoring troubled teenagers that remind him of himself. Connor also is the drummer of a local indie band that he created with a good friend. They have no intention of ‘making it big’ and prefer to play smaller shows whenever time allows. Connor focuses on all these things that make him happy - art, music, and helping the youth. If he didn’t, he’d be too lost wondering what the hell his purpose was and why nothing ever felt like home.
HEADCANONS
Connor plays the drums in a local indie band called “swell.” with Chey Johnson. Playlist can be found here. He also occasionally plays drums for a number of different bands who need a drummer.
Connor was originally in a band called “Submergence” before “swell.” He left the band at the height of the lead singer’s substance abuse issues. The band has since grown in success and he can’t help but be a little bitter towards it all.
He knits a lot in his free time and treats it as if it’s a deep dark secret.
The man sabotages most relationships he has simply because he has a fear of abandonment. He pushes someone before they can push him.
He is a Halloween and horror movie FANATIC. October is his favorite month and he treats Halloween how most people treat Christmas.
Connor has a lot of tattoos, most are traditional style tattoos showing his favorite horror movies - scream, the shining, and some others.
He’s been called an ‘emo hipster’ and an 'emo indie’ before, which he denies… but it kind of sums him up. Half of his music has some older emo vibes to it, and the other half is indie music. He’s the type to freak out because you never heard of a band, even if the band is a local indie band that barely anyone knows. He’s somewhat of a music snob. Forgive him. He also dresses pretty “indie” but a more laid back version.
He’s really into film (not just horror movies). He loves Wes Anderson movies and anything by Taika Waititi and David Lynch. One of his bandmates is a filmmaker and he often dips his toes into that world with her.
Connor was influenced at a young age by the women around him. He’s a pretty big feminist and not afraid to stick up for things he believes in. Due to the culture he was raised in, he’s extremely accepting of all people. It’s probably his biggest redeeming trait.
Connor often has this 'fuck everything’ attitude, yet cares deeply. He bounces from being grumpy to being the life of the party. There’s no way to pin down his personality completely.
Having a cigarette late at night with someone and talking about life is probably one of his favorite things in the world.
to be added….
#i was editing my old pinned post and fucked it all up somehow kjdgndgkj#pls ignore this#i was inspired by everyone's pretty character pics and had to jump ship ok

About
I specialize in evolutionary tropical astrology, taking great joy in doing solar return charts and mundane predictions especially. My knowledge base spans across Hellenistic techniques and more recently Vedic concepts which I incorporate to offer a fuller understanding of the querent’s focuses. I’ve been practicing astrology for about 7 years both privately and professionally, and studying for over half my lifetime. Similar with tarot, though I started offering reading to the public a bit before astrology some ten years ago.
For dreamwork, I’ve always had a deep connection to the world of symbol and dreamtime experiences, from vivid dream experiences where I was entirely different people, simultaneous dreaming with family members, to precognition dreams happening to me in my late teens, never ceasing since. In my study of symbol systems and cross-cultural archetypes, I’ve made many accurate predictions both from dream messages as well as mundane happenings in one’s day to day life. The world speaks in symbol every hour, every day, and while we can never know the totality of what’s to come, we can get pretty close to some answers to help guide our way.
Subsequently, after my Saturn Return, my clairvoyant and clairaudient gifts opened up, alongside the gift of mediumship which I am still exploring. I’ve always experienced some level of clairsentience and claircognizance since childhood, unaware at the time that what I was experiencing was psychic in nature, but the gifts that have shown themselves in my adulthood are distinct in their sensory experience and accuracy for others. I offer limited psychic services to the public as of now but incorporate them into my other readings as it calls. Don't worry, I'm not stingy, just honest.
In my personal life, I hail from the Bible Belt but spent most of my adulthood in the Bay Area, CA, and have lived briefly in Baltimore, MD, Chicago, IL, New Orleans, LA, and Los Angeles, CA, and have taken extended stints in Berlin, Germany. Similar to my university study in anthropology and cross-cultural symbol systems, my travels inform my work and daily life as the syncretic influence of differing experiences and perspectives both of my own and others arrive to shape my choices. I'm a lifelong creative and artist by habit and try to make things beautiful wherever I go. I make a lot of memes, spend a lot of time in nature and with animals, and my blood content is probably minimum 35% green tea. When not traveling or being social, I’m probably politely lowballing someone for a vintage rug or piece of black clothing on some app somewhere. I cuss like a sailor and am captivated by novelty. And I have a fixation on health innovation, so expect some medical astrology one of these days.

the days of the week and their spirituality
one thing that really helped me integrate my practice into my every day life was using the days of the week and their spiritual correspondences as a guide for my routine.
whether you are an astrologer looking to deepen your practice, a witch wanting to strengthen your magic, or just a curious mind, learning the different days of the week can benefit your life by establishing a solid routine (if that’s your thing), bringing you more confidence, and helping you feel more align with the universe.
as i go through the days and their correspondences, think about how you can integrate them into your days. for example, i always match my outfit to the color i should be wearing. this has become so second nature for me! you can also carry around certain crystals, time certain spells for certain days, and eat meals with certain ingredients. if you partake in deity work, also think about which day would be best suited for a little extra time with them
sunday
ruled by the Sun (so easy to remember), who rules Leo
crystals and metals are gold, sunstone, amber, citrine, and carnelian
colors are gold, yellow, and orange
scents and plants are bergamot, mustard seed, sunflowers, mandarin and orange, hyacinth, calendula, peppers, turmeric, and st. john’s wort
must do’s- get in sunshine, divination, anything that brings joy
focus on intentions and spells related to success, healing, ambition, and career
monday
ruled by the Moon (again, easy to remember), who rules Cancer
crystals and metals are silver, moonstone, amethyst, selenite, and quartz
colors are white, silver, and blue
scents and plants are cypress, lavender, mugwort, pine, yew, oak, almonds, amaranth, anise, and milk thistle

tuesday
ruled by Mars (the way i remember this one is tuesday in spanish is Martes, or you can remember there are multiple war deities across different areas with names like Tiu, Tū, and Tyr), who rules Aries and Scorpio
crystals and metals are iron, onyx, bloodstone, garnet and ruby
colors are red, black, and grey
scents and plants are olive oil, basil, garlic, camphor, peppers, dragon’s blood, nettle, bay leaf, bloodroot, ginger
must do’s- physical activity, start something new
focus on intentions and spells related to men, sex, psychic defense, banising and binding, and arguments
wednesday
ruled by Mercury (the way i remember this is wednesday in french is mercredi) (also this one just fits so well?), who rules Gemini and Virgo
crystals and metals are mercury, hematite, peridot, agate, and clear calcite
colors are yellow, green, and blue
scents and plants are almonds, lemon, peppermint, crocus, rosemary, valerian, ginkgo, rhodiola, ginseng, and sage
must do’s- study, get creative, communicate with others
focus on intentions and spells related to communication, education, travel, creativity, and mental agility
thursday
ruled by Jupiter (for this one, remember that the god Jupiter is similar to the god Thor), who rules Sagittarius
crystals and metals are tin, citrine, sapphire, quartz, and blue topaz
colors are purple, blue, and yellow
scents and plants are cinnamon, oak, olive oil, allspice, anise, grape, melissa, clove, cedar, cinquefoil
must do’s- work on business ventures, engage with your craft
focus on intentions and spells related to wealth, power, legal affairs, business, and spirituality

Hey, I've got a question.
Does it mean much of anything if you never lived in the place you were born? Maybe visited a handful of times over the course of a few decades, but that's it. Say, you were born in a relatively big city, but you lived very rural, at least two hours away at the closest, in places that were barely cities at most. Like, your hometown isn't even a village kind of small, and you really lived out in the woods. The entire natural geography is totally different. Think born by a bay or coastal area versus growing up in the mountains, in the woods.
I've always felt like I lived in liminality, for more reasons than I care to count. And lately, it's been driving me battier than normal for mostly annoying reasons. So it made me curious if there was any astrological significance. Or is it actually something that can be seen in a person's natal chart to begin with?
Okay. You asked a couple of questions here.
I'll try to break it down. No, not living where you were born doesn't inherently mean anything. At least not natal birth chart-wise - your natal birth chart is a snapshot of the sky at the exact moment of your birth. That's where your place of birth matters - because the snapshot is centered around you. But this natal birth chart is fixed; it doesn't really change, ya know?
There is an entire branch of astrology called locational astrology, which deals with living far from where you were born—think another time zone altogether. This is a complicated math that recalculates your ascendant and houses to where you are living now - it is sort of comparison of your natal birth chart versus the chart as if you had been born in that location. I don't know a lot about it but its something that you could look into if where you live is very far from where you were born. It could give you some answers.
Do I think that feeling liminal in life can be reflected in the natal birth chart? Absolutely. Some things in the chart that can give a feeling of liminality: mutable planetary placements, personal planets in retrograde, personal planets out of bounds, and a strong Pisces/12th house/Neptunian influence in the chart.
I hope that helps.
