When getting dressed today I had to pause to consider how my clothing would all 'pair' with my body as an Anti-Shadow Suppression Weapon. I tried to imagine that underneath the shoulders and sleeves of the jacket were mechanical shoulders, which perhaps would jut slightly upward -- the fabric crinkling in looseness with arms held at some angles, oddly taut at other ones, in the way a human shoulder would not affect the jacket. It was... really actually fun to spend a moment imagining how things would feel in my ASSW/robot body. I wondered if animal otherkin ever do that with their outfits, then imagined a dragon in a turtleneck sweater and my day was quickly made by it...
