Less Phone Booths Manhattan Community Board 4
The current contract between New York City and phone booth operators expires in 2014. The Department of Information Technology (DoITT) is working with the public and vendors to envision new technology capabilites for future phone booths to be incorporated in the new contract.
At the same time, it is important that the public informs the Community Boards and DoITT of those installations that have been problematic and need to be removed so that such removals be incorporated in the future contract. This interactive map created by Manhattan Community Board 4's Transportation Committee gives you the chance to indentify and comment on these installations.

Historic Louisville City Collaborative & The University of Louisville's Urban Design Studio City Collaborative and the Univeristy of Louisville's Urban Design Studio believe that Louisville's cultural and economic success in recent years has been greatly bolstered by large concentrations of architectural treasures.
This map asks Lousivillians to share a personal memory about why specific historical sights are important to them.  They can add historic buildings, places and heritage resources in Louisville.
For over 40 years the historic preservation movement in Louisville has helped create a city with a unique flavor that is increasingly being recognized as an important cultural center and as a place with a high quality of life thanks to our historic urban neighborhoods.
