Kanata was shaking, if it was from the cold - his clothes were soaked through after all - or from something else, it was difficult to tell. Teeth chattering, he turned to look up at Madara, disoriented. With blue lips he mumbled:

"It was... Too long. Too deep... I shouldn't have... I'm silly, you know? Sometimes I... I forget that I cannot swim. Are you angry with me, Mikejima...?"

he was sat down looking at the sky, as a wet nose nuzzled against his hand. his body twitched and his eyes snapped downwards and it was a white cat. there was soft smile, the puppet stroked the top of it's head. he tickles under the chin, "careful about being this friendly." the wanderer said out loud, suddenly it jumped into his lap--- really? he shakes his head, guess he really was going to stay here now.

the sound of footsteps behind him made his body go stiff, but the cat headbutted his hand. he trusted the cats judgement in not jumping off and running away that it was safe--- putting that much faith in a cat was he foolish for that? looking over his shoulder he couldn't help but let out a chuckle, "are you stalking me or something?"

as a pyro user, he tends to run at a higher temperature. while most days, it can be handled, today happens to be one of the worst.

his flames surround the pair after unleashing his phoenix on a group of treasure hoarders, the heat of his own fire bringing upon a stuffy, dizzy feeling.

he tries to blink through the haze, but before he knows it, he's swaying. his claymore disappears and he falls to his side. he blearily registers albedo speaking to him, the alchemist's arms out and catching him before he could hit the floor.

in the enchanting city of mondstadt, where a fresh wind danced through the cobblestone streets, a pair found solace on a weathered rock. callum, a talented musician, held his violin close, ready to serenade the world with his melodies. albedo, his beloved, sat beside him, their hearts entwined in the magic of the moment.

as callum drew the bow across the strings of his violin, a gentle and calming tone filled the air. each note resonated with perfection, as if the instrument itself yearned to be heard. the harmonies flowed effortlessly, creating a symphony of emotions that only intensified their connection. happiness radiated from callum, for there was no greater joy than sharing his gift with the one he loved.

from time to time, he would pause his playing, lifting his gaze to the heavens above. a bittersweet smile curled his lips, as memories of his musical encounters during past journeys flooded his mind. those were the days when he would weave his melodies for strangers, filling their hearts with wonder and delight. and though the world had changed, callum's unwavering spirit remained, still eager to touch the lives of others through his music.

yet, even as wanderlust stirred within his restless soul, callum found solace in these precious moments. he would play for albedo, his beloved muse, beneath the open sky. the quaint ambiance of the little city they called home, even if only temporarily, served as the perfect backdrop for their harmonious union.

How they got into this situation was a mixture of emotions, one that lead to Eichi ontop of him, seated on his lap whilst he stared the blonde in the eyes. Their hands had been roaming, from their faces, to their shoulders and eventually the length of their bodies until Wataru decides to rest his hands on Eichi's hips.

"Mm, so you want me to kiss you, Eichi? Hahaha, here I thought you would like some warming up." He laughs softly, dipping in to brush his nose against his neck.W

From there, he then placed some kisses onto his neck, they're short-lived, working their way up until he eventually meets his lips. To play the role of a sweet lover, it was one he hasn't experienced yet, but he's sure he could perform well. "Exactly, where should I kiss, Eichi?"

It felt degrading enough that he had let himself become so weak he would take a place in his dearest lap, him the old emperor. The one there would state he would and have never fallen in love with anyone, still here he was.

A deep sigh left his nose, his breath peeking up once in a while when Wataru lips hit a sensitive place. “We have done enough warming up, we are in a public place.” or as public as Eichi office was, after working hours

Feeling the touch of the blue haired lips, his hand tangle itself in the blue hair, the other tracing the braid to have have him in a leash. Eichi nibbled and tugged at his lower lip, his tongue tracing them hungrily.

“.. My lips, my neck, shoulders, chest, stomach, hips. For tonight I will be on your menu~ Just know I only have around 35 precent on my wristwatch before it wants to call an ambulance, so please be kind to me.”

"Merry Christmas, Midori~" Kanata beams as he holds out a box. Surprisingly, it's entirely dry. "Please open your gift, I am sure you will be pleased with it~" Inside, is a few Christmas/winter-themed exclusive versions of his favourite mascots. In their arms, one of them is holding a voucher to store likened to build-a-bear, so Midori can make his own companion too. "Hehe, enjoy~"

"Waaaah! S-Sena-senpai, t-this is so much, I ... ! I can't accept them all ... b-but they're all so soft ... !"

He may have hoped his friends would gift him mascots on the holiday, but not a flurry of them in one go ... !

His fingers pick up the small voucher, looking at Kanata quizzically before opening it up.

"T-this shop ... ! I've been meaning to visit it ... I can't believe you thought of me ~ !"

Plushies were promptly picked, as many as he could fit in his arms, giving them a big hug as he rubbed his cheek on them.

"I love them ! Thank you so much, Sena-senpai ~ ! Ah ... now I feel like what I got you might not be enough ... I'm sorry ..."

Half heartedly, not forgetting his manners, Midori put down the plushies, properly lining them up and giving each of them an affectionate pat on the head before reaching for a green box wrapped in a cyan bow, handing them to Kanata. Inside was a phone case made of a waterproof material and a custom design at the back of the colors of Ryuseitai stripes, with one cute animal for each unitmate : an otter for Kanata, a tiger for Tetora, a fox for Chiaki, a mouse for Shinobu and a rabbit for Midori.

"A brodery and printer shop just opened on the same commercial street as our greengrocer ... they told me I could have anything done, so I had a bit of help and then asked for this, it should fit your phone model ... !"

" What would be the most appropriate type of date for me to be considered a prince to a princess ... although queen might be more fitting to Knights' theme ... ? I'm not sure ...

Regardless, when I asked my sisters what type of date they like, they put a focus on someone buying them pretty things and carrying their bags ... you like shopping, don't you, Narukami ? "

As Puss looked at the hole, he figured he might be able to fit in it. He took his hat off and put it down.

"Do not worry. I shall retrieve your brush." Puss told him. He crawled into the hole and kept crawling until he found Albedo's brush. Then he slowly crawled back out. Once he got out of the hole, Puss stood up and handed Albedo the brush. "Your brush, good sir."

Puss brushed off the dirt and put his hat back on. "A place to stay would be great. After all, I've only been in this world for three days and I have been keeping shelter in the woods." Realizing he just blurted out that he wasn't from Teyvat, he cleared his throat. "I am sorry. I should start from the beginning. I am Puss in Boots and I am an adventurer from another world."

He sighed... before squinting.

"Isara-senpai... are you saying I have a gap moe?"

The squint intensified. This felt... off? Like he was being called out or something? He did not know exactly how to react. What did this mean about him? Someone as big and gloomy as him, having a gap moe... it felt like the gap was just discovering something worst than that?!

"Adonis~" Kanata calls his name before smiling at him kindly. Rei's unit members, he enjoyed spending time with them but it's been a while since he got to spend it with Adonis. "Would you like to help me feed the animals at the Aquarium? With the holidays, they are feeling a bit more lonely. I think the eels would like to see you."

"Ah--- Shinkai-senpai?"

Adonis blinked, pausing a moment as he took a hold of himself.

"I--I'm sorry, I still don't expect people to know my name outside of those I work with frequently, it took me aback."

He did take a great deal of effort to memorise the name of as many people as he could back in Yumenosaki and subsequently in Ensemble Square, but rarely did he notice others doing the same about him. Mostly, Rei was the ones people remembered the most due to being the icon of their unit, and then he was associated with UNDEAD, and that was it.

Adonis remembered Kanata due to Souma talking about him a lot with a lot of praise. If someone was important to Souma, so was he to Adonis.

"You need help, Senpai? I would be happy to lend you a hand as best as I can... although, I may not be the right man to ask. I am afraid my strength put me at risk of hurting animals if I cannot control it... I would hate to hurt any creature... but if I am needed, I will do my best. Eels, you say..? I know eels. Well. Not as much as you. But I know many techniques in how to fish sea creatures, and you naturally pick up how they live and function. Why would they want to see me in particular, Shinkai-senpai?"

The words come out of her lips before she can stop them. They were just now chatting happily over the phone, and she suddenly feels the urge to say such a thing— effectively cutting through the relaxed atmosphere.

Arashi doesn't like making her unitmates worry, and ironically, Leo is the one who can read her the best out of any of them— so there's no doubt in her mind that just from those few words he'd be able to deduce, at least partly, what has been weighing on her mind.

"Ah, I— haha! I'm sorry, Leo-kun, I didn't mean it to sound like that!" She attempts to salvage it, but she knows it's already too late. No amount of nervous laughter and excuses will change his mind.
