Implementing Assault

This is Shrapnel Specs with Jasmine Tullee, and today is a day for an Assault.

As of today the producer for HAWKEN announced that the Assault will be implemented as the new AXE recruits will be given when they join the fight for dominance.

INN reported on this earlier as a very touchy topic for the veterans for a fear of losing their beloved CRT, the walking computer monitor one must learn to love in the wilds of Illal.

That fear was laid to rest today, as the CRT will be remaining in HAWKEN, but as an unlockable mech rather than one used to learn on.

There was still more outrage as veterans insisted that the internals given for the new mech were rather expensive. One pilot noted that the actual cost for the total AXE, internal set, and items ended up being nearly 154000 HC or roughly 1650 MC.

This caused tension initially, but was quelled quickly once cpnjosh made it known that players that are currently enjoying their Assaults, or have joined prior today will be allowed to recieve the same internals and mech with a given code. That code can be found in the link below.
