Epic way to end a summer!! It was our first time evering camping on an island and it was an amazing adventure! Assateague Island is amazing! We didn't leave the island for two days and there is still so much to explore!🏕🏝🧭🗺 We saw wild horses, crabs, turtles, dolphins, sika deer, a snake, frogs, a raccoon and mosquitos!😆 Also we saw beautiful marsh lands full of wildlife crabs, clams, turtles, fish, snakes and birds, a forest that looked out of the lion king, and we got to experience what it felt like to walk in the desert on the Dunes trail! One night we went to the beach and ran a mile where we had to dodge hundreds of ghost carbs shuffling along the beach and set up a fire on the beach, where we laid under the stars! Each of us saw a shooting star! 🌠 The last day we experienced a powerful thunderstorm! That brought up the most beautiful seashells and seaglass! We dont run from the storms, we embrace them!⛱🌊⛈ It was another plant powered adventure, we did have some s'more! (Cheat hour) But veggie wraps, fruit wraps, granola, fruit, veggie burgers, water and gatorade were all we need! "Children dont need more toys! Children need more adventure!" Got sunburned on my stomach! First time in a long time, the suns usually to my back🚴🏽‍♂️😄 but even with the bug bites and sunburn it was still an epic adventure and best way to end the summer! Even Xavier agreed! We took over 200 photos, but they dont catch all the memories that will last a lifetime!
