When I expressed a curiosity about the tattooers' art, she refused to let me mark my own body, say I was too young for such a decision. But without the least qualm, she let me observe, and finally assist with the slow pricking of dye into her own ankle and calf that became a coiled garland of flowers.

There's barely one paragraph about what Patience's relationship with Fitz was like outside of the main events of the books, but I think so much about these lines about her tattooing her own leg while he watches. I love them, your honour.

Embroidered a farseer crest and fitz's crest for a cosplay me and a friend are planning! I based them on the assassin's apprentice cover, I'm not totally happy with how they turned out but I enjoyed researching the medieval embroidery techniques

This passage in assassin's apprentice is so funny to me. All I can think of is the Fool going "you think I try so desperately to keep you alive because I LIKE you?? 😑😑😑 It's just for the prophecy dumbass 🙄🙄🙄 it's not like I'm entranced with you or anything 😤😤😤" like gosh dude just admit you have a big fat crush on him already.
