I'm finally done playing Valhalla's last episode and I just wanna say I'M SO MAD they basically spitted on Eivor's entire story and beliefs, like the same person who's willing to die for her people suddenly goes 'ok, fuck it I'm out of here' ?? And don't get me started on the fact all those who were with Layla are for some reason unknown blind or forgot Basim was a shit to Eivor/Layla.

I am obsessed
I’M OBSESSED WITH ASSASIN’S CREED ll
The soundtrack the gameplay THE MAP I CAN’T
Thank god i like to tour around so that the game will end much slower 🌱🌱🌱
Tumblr media
Here i drew Ezio and Federico i was so in the vibe 😭
Under the cut is me yapping about the game and the soundtrack 🤭
Ac ll is my first assasin's creed game (and it’s the first game I’ve ever bought… well after superliminal but i bought them the same day so WHO CARES) and god i love it so much. I am planning on also buying brotherhood (maybe revelations too) , black flag, unity and syndicate hence i heard that they are the most stealth based ones... I like the stealthy assassinations the most.
The parkour in the game merged with the soundtrack make me feel FREE like i get this weird feeling i can't really name
LOOK
LOOK AT THE SOUNDTRACK
Okay the last one is not from ac 2... I haven't played Revelations yet but i got the track spoiler... I was just looking at the soundtracks then the name caught my attention because well, i am from Istanbul and i was curious so i opened it AND THANK GOD I OPENED IT
IT IS SO AMAZING I CAN'T STOP LISTENING
Every damn second is perfect
I'M OBSESSED
Also thanks if you read till here i can't gush about games to my family since well they don't know anything about games NHHHWHNM

Finished Veilguard two days ago and wanted to share my thoughts, good and bad, ALL SPOILER FREE
Pros:
I genuinely did really connect to each and every character and companion, this is also the first game where I actually adore every one of them and had a difficult time choosing who to romance (Davrin my love🫶) even ones who took my longer to warm up to (Emmerich and Neve) I still very much enjoyed their stories and arch’s
COMBAT COMBAT COMBAT. I played as a double dagger rogue, it was seriously had so much fun fighting in the game, I’m not big on combat (easy is go to for everything I play) but I found myself going to normal, and even hard, mode just to dodge attacks, think it my party, and time my hits. It was so so fun.
The art style. Everything was gorgeous, Treviso was my favorite (jumping around on buildings brought me back to my Assasin’s Creed days😭) but I loved Rivain and Arlathan as well.
The backstories/factions I felt were very well done, I was a Crow, and the whole time was very worried about how Viago and Teia were, even though I didn’t read the books with them, they did a really good job at showing how important they are to Rook, and I loved how Lucanis speaks to you about being crow, or when the companions bring it up in dialogue, it’s so real ig? I also loved how much you could connect with Bellara about being an Elf, even if you aren’t necessarily Dalish
How your choices genuinely can effect things around you, I won’t bring up specifics obviously, but there’s so many choices that when u get consequences for them, I feel like a jerk even though I felt like I made the right decision
There are more small things the codex, the cc, outfits, merchant set up, but those are the main big things I loved about it
Now the cons:
The biggest issue I have is actually also with the companions, while I connected with every one of them their relationship with Rook felt very empty to me, the very few romance scenes, the gifts, how Rook basically gentle parents all of them (which is funny sometimes, but many times came off as very annoying ig?) I felt the companions connect with eachother, and got very invested in their friendships and storyline, but didn’t necessarily get invested in Rooks storyline with them if that makes sense? I think it may have been them replacing the question wheel with small discussions you can have at the lighthouse, which I liked but also would prefer Rook being able to get know more about the companions (how they grew up, they’re feelings on certain subjects, etc)
I don’t know if this is considered a spoiler, but the lack of epilogue at the end of Veilguard that tells what Rook and everyone is up to after everything REALLY disappointed me, it’s one of my favorite things in all three games, being able to here my Lavellan is retired in a farm and my HoF is with Zevran, it’s such a nice touch that I really missed in Veilguard
Now to talk on a pretty big thing that I was disappointed when it first announced, the three choices in the world state. Now, I won’t say much bc again spoilers, but it wasn’t necessarily as bad as I thought it was gonna be, I do think the game would have been a lot better if they did add small codex entries about the past, but other than that the main issue I had was the lack of talk about the hero of ferelden, I didn’t want a cameo or anything bc please let her have her peace, but I’m assuming this will be the end of Dragon age, as they’re aren’t any major loose ends I can think of, but I wish we could have a closing on the calling, even if it was a vague SOMEONE found the cure and we can kinda assume from where (HoF, Alistair, Anders, Loghain) whoever, or that it’s still being worked toward, I think that could have been cool, also I feel like as there is a giant blight, I wish there could have been a mention of the most recent blight and who stopped it.
Now, one small thing that irritated me was Zevrans trauma with the crows being written off, it did make me upset bc it is confirmed that he is still being a pain in the ass to the crows in inquisition, so I wish we could have see that. But I loved being a crow so much that I can look past it.
One small thing I loved, the blight. I’ve talked about it before how interesting I find it, and how many directions it can take. And just how terrifying and unsettling it can be, and I’m so glad they ran with it, there were moments that I was genuinely scared, and adding on to that, there are many moments that made me so sad when doing random side quests, so anyone saying BioWare isn’t ’dark’ anymore did not do any side quests or pay attention to the codex.
Overall, I absolutely adored the game, it will take me a while to do a replay (people who’ve finished know why) but in the meantime I’m gonna be doing a full introduction of my Rook, and enjoy some pictures of her and her infatuation with Davrin and love for cats (plus her half cat half bird son)🫶

For steve saga I've watched from the verry beginning and kinda was watching it on and off after (spoilers !) The rainbow town was destroyed and mainly stopped after the whole either origin steve stuff or illusion/reality stuff I don't remember which. Hi :)
I hated s1 of loki, I watched the first 2 ep and then I didn't watch anymore episodes for like half a year and when i finally got back to it i struggled to watch it cause I found it soooooo boring, but I really liked s2 cause I found it a lot more interesting and exciting than s1. I loved the last ep but I also found it very sad especially when loki was just all alone in the end, but I liked that he finally became a good guy.
Do you not like tom hiddleston as loki? If not who would you have liked to play loki?
What assassin's creed game has loki in it?
Have a good night/day
Heey darling!
Season 2 was just so much better right? Oh, I have nothing against Tom playing Loki, I'm sure he did exactly what Disney asked of him, you know? My problem was with the way they wrote Loki, that's all. But thinking about Dream Cast (I'm terrible at it because I don't know anyone), I can see Skeet Ulrich playing Loki (I'm such a scream fan I hate myself), for older Lokis, it could be Mads Mikkelsen or Rufus Sewell. And, you know, If Marvel cared about representation in 2011, maybe Shawn Wayans, Boris Kodjoe, Orlando Jones, Diego Luna...
Loki is present in Assasins's Creed Valhalla and will probably be present in the next as well. He's super fun, but I can't say much without giving spoilers for the game.
Ubisoft also did a way better job with his powers! It could be a gaming vantage, but still, Loki's biological family, the Jotuns are way more powerful and terrifying in the game. I have no idea why Marvel couldn't work with Loki's shapeshifting in a proper way, he can do so much more than just imitate the human form. And even though the whole "weak god" scene with Hulk is fun, it makes no sense for a frost giant to get beat up like that. Besides being the god of lies, Loki is the Silvertongue, he can tell truths people don’t wish to hear or admit to themselves, pretty much like Lucifer; I don't know why Marvel related that to the mind stone and his scepter.

I love Arthur Darvill and think he's a great actor and that episode didn't change that even though I absolutely wanted to beat the shit out of Richard Madoc and cheered on his destruction.
But I also realize how much I really love love love, Tom Sturridge's Dream because even when he's threatening and scary I am just filled with such warmth during that entire episode on seeing him.

The Legacy of the Second Doctor as played by Patrick Troughton
Tumblr media
Now I said that the show would not have happened without William Hartnell, but the show would not have survived without Patrick Troughton. Because it was an incredible risk to introduce a new actor as the face of the main character and not only allow that to be a thing the show, but for him to play the character completely different and have it work out. And not only did Patrick Troughton volunteer to take this risk, he pulled it off and made the show what we love about it today.
The Doctor was always mysterious and eccentric, but Patrick’s performance turned the Doctor from some grumpy old grandfather to an eccentric clown, with a clever mind. He brought more physical characterization to the Doctor with his brilliant facial work and also action work that brough more life and energy into the character. Often pretending to be stupid in front of his enemies or situations that he wanted to learn more about, he turned the tables on many of his foes by using this against them to learn how to defeat them. And because of this introduced a level of manipulation the Doctor possesses that later incarnations use far more craftily.
But the Doctor now truly embraces his destiny to fight evil, constantly giving speeches to those that just sit by or intend to do harm that this is something he will never let pass. In truth behind all his clowning, this Doctor truly becomes the hero we know and love about the Doctor. Plus he brings a seriousness to scientific study and invention and was the perfect actor to set up the lore the show has been missing since it was brought to television. Quite a feat for such a gamble in the world of television.

Some Assasins Creed rambling
I think the weird culture war shit going on with the new Assasins Creed is funny becuase like have you ever paid any attention to the Lore of Assasins Creed? its absolutely ridicilous, The Templars has a funny little orb that can alter reality and is also some like Illuminati tier ass orginization. You play as some random white guy whos great great ancestor is part of the Hashashin and Abstergo is minor spoilers, the fucking Templars, And this is like... the least absolute batshit insane thing about AC Lore, a Black samurai not only has actual historical context, its also like the least absurd thing you couldd have possibly made within Assasins Creed, its so clear its people who has like, never played the games? If you get what i mean (Sidenote where was this insane outrage over the Protaganist for Nioh, thats also a forreigner becoming a Samurai, I wonder what the difference is.../s)

Talking about Sigurd and Dag after Oxenfordshire/Cent/Suthsexe and after the second time you have to deal with Holden in Ravensthorpe...
I feel a lot of sympathy for Eivor. What Dag accuses her of, then the same assumptions Sigurd makes. Its painful because it is literally the opposite of the truth, she never wants to take over, never has any ambition to take away the glory from Sigurd to herself. She isn’t losing her head to the power. It’s kinda heartbreaking that Dag made such strong and such incorrect assumptions about her, that forced her to kill him like that. Then that making Sigurd look with suspicion at her! When she was begging Dag to stop. And then with that thing with Holden the painter guy, I felt so bad for her, she is so loyal to him but is constantly being berated at and accused of doing the opposite.
I also can’t imagine how scary it would be to have an older brother who has been nothing but supportive of you after the most traumatic night of your life with your parents being killed then you being ravaged by a wolf and falling through ice. To have him turn around and viciously turn on you like that.
I suppose there are playstyles that can lean more towards a glory seeking Eivor, but not by much? It’s just so sad, I just feel so lost on her behalf.
Whatever happens my god, let it happen quick I can’t take much more of this...

I beat Assassins Creed Odyssey recently... I felt this hug in my SOUL.
I teared up.
I think it’s partially because of social distancing I haven’t gotten a hug in so so long, partially because I’m an older sister with a brother who’s far away... anyways it was great! It was a great game!
