I find it so interesting how Dreamtale essentially took place during the 1500s (cuz Dream was in stone for 500 yrs)

If it's based on our world, then it's also the same era when people were traveling the world on ships n stuff

Do you think that when Dream finally got un-stoned after 500 yrs, he visited the surface of many AUs and wondered where the ships were and why they travel in boxes and not horses?

It's kinda sad if you think about it. Dream missed the evolution of society during his imprisonment and the culture shock must've been wild
