Mama Gumi is coming to town!

Before uploading more with my current Arc, my best friend (@princessanieloid) recommended me to make a post-introduction about Gumi, so you guys could understand better how i represent her in this KML-verse! ^w^

(these are only headcanons about Megpoid Gumi, none of them are official)

SUMMARY

In this KML-verse, Megpoid Gumi is young adult lady (26 y.o.), who has siblings - Gakupo (half-brother) and Ryuto. She is happily married to Yuuma Roro and has a little boy - Baoro (who is the same age as Junko). She is a singer, but also, works as a daytime babysitter in VOCAL.Inc. (she babysits minors-singers or vocaloids' offsprings).

Biography

She was a middle child in Megpoid family (her half-brother Gakupo, is 3 years older than her, and her biological brother Ryuto is 11 years younger). She was diagnosed with childhood obesity (caused by slow metabolism), but her parents didn't seem to take it as something serious, and they kept letting her eat as much as she wanted (thinking that the problem will disappear with with age).

At early school age, she met Roro, who was a in parallel class, they easily found a lot in common (Gumi and Roro both loved origami, and used to went to an art club together). Because of her plumpiness, she was bullied from other youngsters and given those kinds of nicknames, such as seal, pig, cow and etc. Which would leave Gumi in a anxious state and low self-esteem, consoling herself with sweets, where only worsened her problem, but that is where Roro, her family begin to take action. Megpoid` parents regret what they negligent, who were with her warning for years, and can comfort Gumi by overprotecting and giving her careful diets. Her old brother and Roro tried their best to help her lose weight by exercising and eating fewer calories - it weakly work at her body, but moral support helped her to get through bullying,

When Gumi became a singer and member of VOCALOID at the age of 18, she was warmly welcomed (especially by member of CFM, whom she befriended with one of them). The result from family and Roro's support was also cemented by her friendship with Luka, who accepted her for who she was. Lady Tuna even found her appearance as really charming, and told Gumi to never doubt her body and accept herself.

Some facts!

Gumi is the same age as Luka (except that Megpoid is 6 months younger) while Roro is 2 years older than Gumi.

Gumi is sweet, tender, loves joking around with youngsters. She can't stand when something unfair happens to her family or friends.

She was pampered by her parents as long-expected child, but it doesn't made her selfish nor arrogant - parents' love inspired her to be a loving and wholesome to everyone.

In InternetCo group, there was a joke about Gumi "How to guess Gumi's favourite color? Pink! Why? Look at her environment". Many a true word is spoken in jest, because Gumi's closest people - Roro and Luka have pink-hair.

(Roro and Gumi): Roro was inconfident about confessing his feelings to, while Gumi was more opened with it; Roro will do his best for his beloved Gumi to make sure that she is safe and sound. They never got separated with each other. Gumi and Roro were childhood friends, and even got a nickname from their classmates "two peas, that looks like carrot and watermelon, in a pot".

When Roro found out that Gumi was expecting their first child, he was so happy that he literally cried (but that is a secret between two of them, because Roro wants to make an appearance of strong confident guy). And all throughout the pregnancy, he was always making sure that Gumi is okay - drank vitamin pills, eat enough, not cold nor heat and etc.

Funniest (sort of) coincidence was the thing, Gumi and her pink best friend Luka were both expecting in the same year (with only 2 months difference, because Baoro was born in July, and Junko - in September). Meiko even said once: "Have you two in cahoots to have a child at the same year?!", which is irony, because both of them kept asking Mei as the one, who had the experience in this. (even though Megpoid and Megurine read a lot of books about pregnancy, they felt come confident if they would talk to somebody, who went through this)

When Gumi and Roro`s baby was born, Roro wanted to call their son as Baoro (His name on Japanese 保ロ means "protective son"), because he wished that their son, when he will grew, will protect and support his beloved ones (especially his mom).

Steady, tomboy (close to butch), but really caring for her family and loved ones.

Mother - Sachiko (yep that Sachiko loid) Sakine (neé Kobayashi), Sachi loves telling jokes, especially cheesy and bad puns.

Meiko doesn`t knew about her father since her mother told her that they divorced when she was a little. Mei still hopes to find him.

Her cousin - Clara, they see each other very rare, but if it happens - they hang out all day and all night.

Mei given up drinking sake and switched to coffee.

If it comes to intimate moment - gives warm kisses for her lovers.

Beside being a "older figure" for Miku, Rin and Len, she became a mother of her own babies - twins Maro and Noriko. Mei gives her children everything what she can.

Mei is infertile caused by emotional distress, so twins came IVF.

Wholesome and childish, but if something bad comes to his loved ones - gets really serious.

From a large family. His father - music teacher, mother - choreograph. Has 5 brothers -Tairo, Akaio, Kizai, twins Kage and Zei. (Akaio & Haku are in relationship). Has a cousin - Zhiyu Moke.

Big spoon + really loves giving eskimo kisses for his girls.

Has a secret recipe of the most delicious ice cream.

He was really anxious when colleagues told him that throuple marriage is illegal. Even though Kaito is officially married to Meiko, he consider Luka as his wife too.

As a dad - children don't get bored with him. Kai loves playing games with them and has a non-stop ideas abt which game will be next. His favourite - pillow castles.

She used to be really shy and social awkward. But becoming older she became a gently yet sentimental and loving woman. If you became her friend - she will always be by your side.

Orphan, she lived with her uncle until her graduating.

Had two traumas in her life - when she lost her parents, and when Gakupo rejected their friendship.

STILL Gets red-faced when it comes and kisses.

Loves studying Marine biology.

As a mom - can be a little bit overprotective. For example "DID YOU WORE A HAT?", "DON’T RUN TOO FAST OR YOU CAN GET HURT!", "I'll go buy some food, but please..DON'T TRY TO PULL THE HOUSE ON FIRE!".

She loves sew clothes for her children, and singing lullabies. She has an ability to make her own plush handmade toys for kids.

Luka calls her children by fishlings.

Early life :

🍫 Meiko

Daughter of famous Enka singer Sachiko. As a child, she never had enough attention from her mother. Mei didn`t knew about who is her father (even as an adult).

She always was under mother's shadow, so this was a reason to be not like Sachi. One day, on Meiko's birthday, she met a Kaito - boy next door, who was impressed by her. Later, Kaito and Meiko became friends, and young Mei liked spent free time with him, but didn`t considered him as "future boyfriend", while Kai thought of her as a "future girlfriend".

🍦 Kaito

Youngest child from large family. He was a "social butterfly", and had many big brothers, who were much older than him (for example, when Kai met a Mei, he was 8 years old, and by that time, his oldest brother, Taito, was 18 years old).

And even though he loved spending times with them, brothers disliked Kai's idea to become a dancer. They won`t stopped telling him that he should get himself together and stop doing useless things (dancing and singing) and just study.

Kai felt a little lonely with his enthusiastic idea, he found a support to parents and his grandpa.

He easily made friends around him, but one day.. Scarf boy went with his family on Enka festival, and saw Meiko on stage, saying that he got a crush on her means saying nothing. Even as a kid Kaito told his mother that he wants to marry Meiko.

🐟 Luka

Small-town girl from family of ballerina and librarian. When she was around 7 years old, she wanted to become a marine biologist (because her favourite book that father told is about octopi). But when her father showed a world of music, she fell in love with it, and even beg parents to let her go to musical school.

Suddenly, the tragedy came into home - she lost her parents and stillborn sibling. After that, Lu lived with her uncle..Lost any motivation and got her first psychological trauma.

She didn't wanted to make any friends, but one day at musical school, she accidentally met Meiko and Kaito. Lu was suspicious and shy at first. Later, when she knew them better, she realised, that they are reliable and good people. Kai & Mei filled her life with happiness and meaning of existence.

Three of them relived so many events, such as: break up (in friendship term) with Gakupo, Crypton staff harassment, bullying and etc.

Speaking of break up, it happened in their teenhood, when Meiko was around 19 years old (Kaito was 17, and Lu - 16). She had an episode of burnout (The director told her that she is untalented and everything she did is worthless), and she was mad at herself, even at everyone who were important to her.. She didn't understand, that she was hurting people, who loved her (Luka and Kaito). They constantly told her that everything would be fine, but Meiko threw herself at them every time (it got to the point that she slapped Luka's hand when she was about to hug her).

It was a difficult period in their relationship (then Meiko`s mother, Sachiko finished her career and remembered that she have a daughter, and decided to deal with Mei`s broken mental state (a little more, and it would have been too late)).

Then Sachiko decided instead of Meiko, and gave Luka and Kaito to take a break from their contacts with her daughter and that she take Mei to a sanatorium for psychological recovery for 3 months. (as Sachiko said, it would be better for Mei). Lu and Kai were very worried about not seeing nor talking with Mee-chan for a quite long period, but decided that for the sake of the mental health of their beloved friend, they are ready to do anything, even for a break in the relationship.

..3 months.. 3 months were like an eternity for throuple. Mei came home in the evening. And when Kaito and Luka saw her for a long time, all three hugged tightly and did not stop crying (it lasted more than a few minutes).

Later, the trio went home to Mei's mother, sat in the kitchen and drank tea with chocolate cookies (Meiko's favorite sweets), chatted, and did not even touch on the topic of working as a vocaloid (just behaved like ordinary teenagers).

In the dead of night, it was time for Kaito and Luka to return homes, but Mei told them to spend the night with her in her room. Then she took out some sleeping bags, her blanket and pillow, and lay down with them on the floor..

The night went peacefully and calmly, as if those burnout and 3 months apart had never happened...

After this event, the KML relationship became much stronger than it used to be..

So.. let me get this straight. Mei was carrying twins Maro and Noriko. Which means that Luka was pregnant with Junko?

Right! >u<

And for my followers, who confused, like: "wait a sec, if theyre twins, why do you call them triplets?".

Answer is that Maro, Noriko, Junko are always together and have the same height - that's why they’re called "triplets"..

Facts about first-time Octo mom:

Megurine craved with... chalks and ice cubes. O-O And because of that, Rin often mocks her by asking, "Luka-nee? Do you want tuna with chalks? Probably very tasty, since you've been ate it for almost 9 months." While Len, tries his best to not mock his "old sister figure": "Luka nee-san, i think there's nothing about having cravings.. and... seriously what do crayons taste like??"

Tako was the first, who felt that Megurine is expecting (like a cat), and she often laid on Octo mom's abdomen. Poor Tako even had sympathetic morning sickness.

Luka always wanted to have own children, but because of tokophobia caused by her mother's dead, she tried to supress this wish, but after Maro and Noriko were born, she fell in love with them as much as if they were her own kids.

Octo mom kept asking Meiko about advices and tips about pregnancy

HC story about Camui Gakupo in this askkaimeilu blog.

Since he was a child, Gakupo was meant to become a steady as stone man, without showing any emotions nor affection toward others and not get attached to people.

Camui had a childhood friend - Megurine Luka, who was there for him no matter what. He liked spending his free time from learning bushido with little Tuna lady. He loved collecting bugs, leaves, stones, while Lu - flowers for making flower crown.

Then, she introduced him to Kaito and Meiko, and if he was able to find a common language with the ice cream boy, Gaku was afraid of Mei, quite possibly because she could kick ass easily while he will got a katana. He considered Kaito and Meiko as good mutuals, later, colleagues..

But years passed, the boy became a young man, and all good things end someday..

Gakupo didn`t wanted to end up their relations, but his mentors forced him to sever all ties with people, who were close to Camui (and the closes person, who was to purple samurai - pink lady), because, as they said "the more you get attached to someone, the more painful it is to lose them"...

Camui believed that it was necessary, but didn't thought about how his words offend the one, who was his first and, perhaps, the only true friend.

Nowadays, he have many good colleagues, like Lily, Gumi, Una, CUL and etc. But with none of them he do no have a reverent relationship as he had with Lu.
