i think if you ask a writer (who is very active and FREQUENTLY [or even INFREQUENTLY] updating and posting things) if they've abandoned a fic (which has been updated within the last year) you deserve 10 lashes and 6 hours in the digital stockade

#YES this is about tennessoui WHEN will ppl stop asking them if vowbreaker is abandoned #imo a fic should only be thought of as abandoned if the author has straight up said its abandoned #asking for updates is imo not in good form and only excusable if youve commented previously without asking AND IF its been like 3+ years #AND EVEN THEN.... THERE ARE BETTER WAYS OF ASKNG... 'cant wait to see what happens next' 'there are so many places this could go #so excited to see where you take it' 'just came back to this fic again and i love it even more cant wait for the ending' etc.#fic writers ae putting this shit out for free !!!! they got lives!!!! we got other shit going on !!!!!#and tennessoui is SO ACTIVE and putting out SO MANY FANWORKS on ao3 and tumblr !!!!! let them live people!!!!!!#like i am also frothing at the mouth for the next vowbreaker update but !!!!!!!! bugging them about it is not productive !!! and more likel #to make writers NOT want to update or not want to engage !!!!!!#m
