“It’s odd to see a krabby all the way up here. Come here” Floating down towards the krabby, she gently scoops him up from the cold snow. “There we go, now then...”

The shaymin looked at the two ‘mon who were obviously new to this area based on their appearance alone. They pondered a moment as to whether or not they should go into detail. Glancing at the ghost type then to the fire fox they spoke up.

“I’m not going to the one who made that sound... I am headed to something that can save us from that monster. The monster has awoken and if they are not stopped our forest will be no more.”

(Ask-aeverwynn) Lazuli: You all are...Quite interesting. I've never seen anyone quite like you. You seem to have ninetales in your blood, am I correct?

“ …? “

All three sisters glance at Lazuli in some confusion. Silence hangs for a few seconds before the fox-like psychics turn to one another, muttering amongst themselves.

“Ninetales? Is that supposed to be this world’s version of 구미호?” Byeol pondered.

“Huhhh, I thought it was just because we had nine tails!” Ha-Nui giggled softly amidst their whispering, her ears flickering cutely. “‘Cause yeah, we DO have nine tails, hee! Is he talking about an actual creature that’s called that?”

“Hmph, a creature who’s name is Ninetales?” Yeong-Ju sniffs. “To be given such an unimaginative name, it is quite pathetic.“

Byeol let out a rather loud yawn.“I’ve never heard of this ‘Ninetales’ but it sounds so… boring.”

Yeong-Ju breaks away from her sisters and turns to the fox, her expression hard. “The answer is yes, 불법 침입자.” She replies stiffly, giving him a leveled glare. “My sisters and I are part 구미호.” The eldest adds extra emphasis to the last bit, making it clear that she dislikes being associated with the name ‘Ninetales’. 

“네! Yeong-Ju-unnie’s right! We sure are, keehee~! It’s really hard to think otherwise, right?” The Ms. Mime snickered as she bounced a bit in place, her ears and tails wafting lightly with her peppy motions.

Pinches@Isis: *He scuttles on over and looks at her with his beady little eyes. He readies both claws and and goes in to pinch both of her tails while intensely staring at her, kind of maliciously. Crabs gotta pinch.* You know what they say about cute people. They get pinches.

Raziel had stared at Taveska for a good minute now. She was so still. Was she asleep? He couldn’t tell. The only reason he didn’t investigate was because of the tiny crustacean bastard making himself at home on her head.

They weren’t the one’s that needed  his attention though. There were three others.

His children.

Analise was huddled in the corner. Other humans passed curious, concerned glances at her. He couldn’t blame them, she looked miserable. Cautiously, he moved across the waiting room to talk to her.

Her ears flicked upon hearing his approach. She tensed and began to tremble. She didn’t want to talk to anyone. She wanted to be left alone. “P-please go away..”

Raziel knew he shouldn’t approach any closer. He sat on the floor a few feet away from the pale purple fox. “It’s okay. I just wanted to talk to you.” He said gently. His ears lowered. It hurt to finally meet his daughter and see her so frightened.

“N-none of this is okay. I don’t know anyone. I don’t feel sorry for Lazuli. I want him to die.” Analize managed quietly. Her body screamed for her to get up and stretch or at least move, but she refused to leave the safety of her corner.

“I know. He’s a jackass.” Raziel replied with a nod.

Analise felt a little comforted by his confirmation of how she felt. “ I just w-want to go home.” She whimpered. 

“I understand.” He said, scooting a little closer. Analise turned a little to keep an eye on him.

“You’ll be able to go home soon, I promise... Analise, right?”

“H-how do you know my name?” Analise asked warily, but weakly.

“ Your mother and I picked out names for you early, since we... Had to send you away. We picked two sets of names, Aeverwynn and Analise, and Talthiel and Rima.” He said. 

“H-how did... My adoptive parents know what to name me then?” Analise asked.

Raziel shrugged. “You’ll have to ask Adriel. He’s the one who had to leave with you so Lazuli wouldn’t kill you.” He replied uncomfortably.

“Why did you have to get rid of us? Wasn’t there another way?” Analise responded, almost coldly.

“I’m sorry.” Raziel started, then looked down in defeat. “There were other ways. But it wouldn’t have been safe for you to grow up fearing for your lives.”

“I  still did! He found me, terrorized my parents into abandoning me, and hid me away and continued to threaten me with death and misery every day!!” Analise snapped.

Raziel looked up at her.

“Anyone who tries to take you or your brothers away from me is going to have to kill me first.” Raziel declared, and he did  so strongly and sincerely.

Analise trembled, and tears finally broke from her eyes again. She didn’t know if she could trust those words, but she wanted too. She barely noticed him scoot closer until he was right beside her, putting a hand on her shoulder.

“I promise. Nobody is going to break this family apart ever again.” Raziel stated, gently trying to pull her into a hug.

Physical affection was a new concept to Analise, and she almost pulled away. But she let it happen, clinging to the taller delphox and quietly weeping into his shoulder.

[These aren’t my original eyes, I lost them as an eevee in an incident I’d rather not remember.] The words tick across her faceplate while she smiles. “But otherwise this device is pretty fancy stuff,” she said, “firstly I can see again, secondly I can see more than what I otherwise couldn’t see, and thirdly I can do silly stuff like what a did a little bit ago.”

“I don’t know.. But he’ll be back soon, right? I’m his Pokemon… h-he’s probably just a bit lost, I g-guess… !”

But of course...

Aeverwynn was not asleep, and he was not going to mind his own business. He followed Lazuli out the door and stayed hidden out of his sight. It was hard once they reached the Lumiose Badlands. Such a huge, open expanse of desolate land with little to hide behind. Fortunately there was a tall rock formation that suited his needs. He’d have to plan his next step, though.

What he didn’t realize, was that he had been seen. Raziel didn’t see him immediately, no. But as he descended the rock and turned the corner, he saw the smaller Braixen peering around the edge. He took note that he was watching Lazuli.

He folded his arms and chuckled lightly, alerting Aeverwynn to his presence.

“You must have some nerve~” Raziel knew that Aeverwynn wasn’t hunting Lazuli. He simply wanted a reaction.

Aeverwynn spun around to face Raziel. “I’m- I’m not hunting him!” He blurted, looking Raziel up and down. “I’m just following him and making sure nothing happens!”

“Are you, now? He seems to be much older than you. Shouldn’t it be the other way around?” Raziel asked.

“I know... But he’s-” Aeverwynn caught himself. He didn’t know this delphox, he shouldn’t just spill his intentions and why he’s here out in front of him. “Who are you?” He asked warily.

“I am Raziel. And you and your friend out there are on my territory~” Raziel said. He had no intentions of harming Aeverwynn. Lazuli, maybe, but not this hairball in front of him. Reactions were all he was after.

“Im sorry for trespassing... B-but we’re looking for someone.” Aeverwynn said.

“Ah...” Raziel nodded. He didn’t need to ask, he knew why Lazuli was here. He was looking for him and his sister. “ Then allow me to help... I know just where you and your friend out there can start looking.”

Aeverwynn looked hard at Raziel. He didn’t trust him. But what was he to do? He knew that even if he said no, Raziel could still just follow him. And he had a feeling that he’d be severely outmatched in battle against him.

“I... I guess... “ Aeverwynn stammered, unsure of what could happen now.

“Wonderful! Lets go meet your friend, shall we?”

“Okay... But if you try and hurt either of us, you’re done for.” Aeverwynn threatened. Tried to, at least. It didn’t sound very convincing.

“Aw, don’t worry, kid, I mean absolutely no harm~”

Aeverwynn felt like this was a terrible idea and needed an adult. So he ran as fast as he could to Lazuli with Raziel in tow.

“Both of your expressions are very concerning but... Here we go..” Taveska says, holding up her master ball and releasing Lazuli.

Who was engulfed in flames the moment he materialized. Both Taveska and Analise jumped away from Aeverwynn and his sudden torrent of fire.

His fire may not have hurt him, but it certainly burned his bandages and hair ties. His hair was revealed for aallll to see.

Taveska tilted her head. Damn, look at that hair. Why does he keep that all tied up? She didn’t have much time to stare, though. Analise was trembling and Aeverwynn was ready to attack again.

“Well....Don’t fatally injure each other, okay?” She asked.

“OKAY~” Aeverwynn replied and began advancing on Lazuli.

Lazuil sighed and stood his ground. This wasn’t the ass beating he was waiting for. He was waiting for Adriel. He’d have to wait, he figured.
