rowdy mccain (she/they, 26 yrs old) is the lead vocalist of the band. she can also play the guitar and can often be seen with one on stage. she has heavy neck cyberware installed which came with a voice module; it emphasizes the raw edge of their voice and causes it to sound lightly mechanical, which is what makes their voice stand out from other musicians. she mostly sings in english but also occasionally writes in her first language, spanish

rowdy is a bit messy and while they enjoy being in the spotlight, they're also shameless and honest and blunt which makes them controversial in the bigger picture of things in night city; many politicians and corporations- usually rowdy's first targets in the songs she writes- do NOT like her ass at all. but rowdy does mercenary work on the side so even if it would come down to having to fight for their life, this isn't a problem at all for them <3

she comes from the acting industry, having done several small gigs in and around night city and she made a decent living off it but she wanted More out of life. the band started as a garage band kind of deal with billie (their childhood bestie) and nikita (who they met at a tv-show they both starred in) and lalo joined later after getting back in touch with them, and casey joined after that through lalo

rowdy brings amazing energy on stage, hyping the crowd up and taking her time to set the mood for the rest of the night. she often places her mic stand near billie for homoerotic purposes

billie bernhart (she/her, 27 yrs old) is the lead guitarist of the band, but she also plays the cello and violin which they sometimes use as background instruments. she's less of a spotlight person than rowdy but with her bright pink afro hairstyle and best outfits of the entire band (in my honest opinion) it's kinda hard to miss her in a crowd and she gets a LOT more attention than she was initially expecting to get

billie is basically the only one of the whole band who's always been into music. after high school she started doing small gigs as background guitarist for. well. whoever wanted her really LMAO and she made a living like that for a very long time. when rowdy reached out to her again to ask if she wanted to help set up the band obviously she couldn't refuse <3 she's very well-spoken and with that the social backbone of the band because she's the only one who can talk to the public normally without accidentally starting some shit with some random politician

lalo gutierrez (he/him, 24 yrs old) is the bass guitarist and backing vocalist of the band. he can also play the piano and occasionally swaps roles with rowdy as lead vocalist. he's the most reserved and quietest member of the band, yet simultaneously the one with the wildest backstory since he basically got hunted for sports for about 1.5 year because of how vocal he was about evil megacorporations, raising awareness about homelessness, and how the streets of night city were too dangerous for innocent people

like rowdy, lalo comes from the acting industry and actually played in the same tv-show with her and nikita! after that is when life went downhill for him because he tried to use his platform for good, and he lost contact with all his friends because he didn't want to get them in danger. this is when he met casey, a netrunner who helped him hide, and he even was under brief protection of vitali dobrynin after lalo reached out to a fixer for help. he's no longer being hunted nowadays and tries to stay out of mercenary business to keep it that way

nikita maślany (he/him, 24 yrs old) is the drummer of the band. he also has experience with mixing so whenever they make a song that leans more into edm territory he can help casey out with that. he's essentially a musical miracle as he can come up with stuff on the spot and has great intuition, which allows him to perfectly understand what the other band members are going for and he can adjust accordingly to that

niki moved to the nusa around the age of 18 and when he and lalo met, they bonded over both being all alone in a foreign country in a big city that moved way too fast for them. the tv-show they played in together had their characters end up in a romantic relationship; all of that, plus the fact lalo had to move in with niki at some point because he had ended up homeless, caused niki to get a crush on his friend, but they never ended up in a relationship

much like rowdy, nikita is very blunt and not scared of what people think of him. he rarely sings, but when he does, he makes no effort to try and cover up his polish accent which is very sexy of him if you ask me

casey parker (they/any, 26 yrs old) is the latest addition to the band and basically plays all the other instruments. she also takes care of mixing and/or dj-ing for the band's edm songs. they come from the mercenary life and then specifically techie stuff and netrunning gigs; this is also how they met lalo and he decided to try and keep the guy safe, and they stayed friends after that period of time in lalo's life was over

casey is a bit less involved in the band's things and mostly just joins to do her thing and then bounces to focus on her own shit again; though they do consider the others their best friends and whenever rowdy and niki need assistance in a merc gig, casey is more than ready to support them through the net >:^)

billie is the lead guitarist of the band urban dynamite! she's the only band member who's always been into music, from playing in her high school's band to doing small gigs as background guitarist for basically anyone who wanted to hire her

she and rowdy, the lead singer, are childhood best friends. they grew close in school very fast but over the years started growing apart more when rowdy got involved with bad friends and as much as billie tried to convince them to don't go there, they wouldn't listen, and billie wasn't about to get in trouble because of rowdy so they had to part ways. every other friendship billie had after that was very shallow and she ended up walking away more than a few times mainly because she kept comparing people to rowdy which. was very bad. but also she couldn't help it :( she just really missed her friend a Lot

years later, rowdy ends up reaching out to billie again to ask her if she wants to start a band! billie obviously can't say no because she's still struggling with paying rent and she knows rowdy is a very good singer and this could really get them somewhere. the two mostly cover popular songs at first but also try their hand on making their own music; billie is VERY good with writing songs and she often helps rowdy with this

more people join and urban dynamite is currently one of the most popular quickly rising bands in night city >:^) this is mainly because of the song EMPEROR'S DEAD which was released within 24 hours of saburo arasaka's death which is still hilarious to me. billie didn't fully agree with the idea but in hindsight it was pretty funny. and it worked wonders for her career so she's not complaining EHSJGFKDGJH

billie is a very sweet girl in general but has her sharper edges and doesn't make new friends easily. it's not necessarily armor she's wearing, it's more just that she quickly has high expectations of people and sometimes needs to take a step back and realize that people aren't perfect and neither is she. but once you get past that part she's very friendly and funny and she secretly loves hanging out with people so much. if she could live in one house with all her friends she 100% would

🌙 - What’s their sleep schedule like?

billie has a pretty stable sleeping schedule in comparison to the other members of urban dynamite and generally gets 6-7 hours of sleep a night, more around 9 in the weekends! she tries to go to bed anywhere between 10pm-12am but especially on show nights that's basically impossible, so in those cases she gets some sleep before the show to make sure she won't be super tired the next day

👪 - What’s their relationship with their parents like?

billie has a decent relationship with her parents but doesn't see them all too often anymore. she's very busy and her parents are too, meaning they mostly just text each other every now and then and leave it at that; but if they were to meet up for lunch or something it would be like they haven't even been apart in the first place :^)

🖌️ - Do they have any hobbies?

billie loves making music obviously and that's what she does most of the time! she mostly plays the guitar but in her free time also experiments with other instruments :^) she also likes cooking and baking a lot and likes playing games too

🍳 - How well can they cook?

billie is a VERY good cook once she's figured out how to make something. when trying out something new it might take a try or two to get it right, but from that moment on it will be the best food you've had in your entire life :^) she will never get pasta right though. but that's ok i forgive her

🗺️ - What languages do they speak?

billie speaks english, spanish and bits and pieces of polish! nikita is teaching her more but it's going very slowly because niki is not the best teacher and billie is not the best student LMAO but they're having fun with it and that's what matters :^)

1) what drives them? what’s their ultimate goal?

billie mainly just wants to be able to live comfortably and have fun with her friends honestly. she doesn't have any very big goals in life or with the band for that matter, she never thought they would break through like they did and honestly it still scares her a little bit sometimes. but she likes the path that she's on and is curious to see where else it will take her in the future :D

12) how have they altered their body? piercings, tattoos, biohacks, or other modifications—anything. why (or why not) did they (or someone else) make those changes?

billie has some cyberware, decorative plating on her stomach and upper arms and the edges of it are decorated with golden lines and details which blend in with the tattoos she has on her arms :D her upper arms are entirely covered in tattoos (which ones are to be determined) and they kind of fade out into her forearms, they mostly stop there so she can cover most of them up under a t-shirt if necessary. she also has tattoos on her back, and some more cyberware on her temples and around her eyes :) piercing wise she has both her ears pierced in a couple of different locations!

21) do they have an idea about how they’ll die? do you?

billie lives in night city and we all know how unpredictable life is there so honestly she really wouldn't know, and she wouldn't think about it too much. it's very easy there to get caught up in an incident of whatever nature and she definitely does not have the money to be able to afford good healthcare so she mostly just has her friends to rely on in an emergency situation, which would make the risks much bigger :( but also she knows which parts of town to avoid ESPECIALLY with how famous (and infamous) the band is nowadays so she will be ok :)

23) in what moment did they consider themselves to be “grown up”?

probably when she moved out! billie used to struggle with feeling in control of her own life so she felt really small until she finally had some freedom and wasn't stuck in her childhood bedroom anymore, so she started considering herself to be grown up from that moment on :)

30) how do they handle confrontation?

billie is often very good at staying calm in situations but when tensions get very bad she will simply snap and scream and shout until everyone else shuts the FUCK up. when everyone is yelling at each other there's no way to talk something out anyway so might as well get it over with and wait until everyone is normal again LMAO

in terms of combat situations, she doesn't really go there. she knows how to fight to protect herself but would rather not let it get to that so she's much more likely to hide until the situation has settled down again

45) what lies do they tell themselves?

billie sees herself as replaceable and believes this to her core but it is very much a lie. she's just as important in the band as all the others and is a very important part of their friend group in general and the others would 10000% miss her if she wasn't there. she never really talks about these feelings to anyone so there's not much the others can do about it to help her because they just don't know :(

52) how would they dress themselves up for a formal event?

billie loves dresses despite not wearing them too often so she would definitely use a formal event as an excuse to wear one! would mostly stick to black and white dresses considering her bright pink hair but when her hair is a natural color she likes going for either deep colors (deep emerald green, deep wine red, dark ocean blue) or bright colors (yellow, orange, soft light green)! anything that's long and flowy and hugs her body tightly but not too tightly will do, often with a high cut at the hip all the way down to the ground and a low cut at the chest. loves to accessorize too so she would be wearing a lot of jewelry with it, either silver or gold depending on the color of the dress :D

60) what do they have faith in? what keeps them believing?

not sure how to interpret this one but billie is not religious! if anything she just tries to believe in herself. which is difficult sometimes but she's managing &lt;3

63) what’s a meme or tiktok or vine (or whatever) that you associate with them?

this video. i cannot explain it. the lip syncing person specifically. it's the vibes of it all

69) what’s one secret they don’t want getting out?

billie is basically the only one of the band who doesn't involve herself into the mercenary life at all. she's got nothing outright against it considering how insane night city is in general but also just doesn't want to get involved. she HAS however been forced to kill someone in order to save rowdy and lalo's asses when THEY were on a gig together and she really wants to keep this a secret because she's scared that as soon as that news comes out she will get dragged into the mercenary life anyway. and she does NOT want that to happen under any circumstances
