gonna throw my own discourse hat in the ring but i really do think if *anything* vriska is the utena and terezi is the anthy even though they were placed in completely opposite sides of the narrative but it goes in line with how they see *each other* specifically

i don't rlly see their personal relationship as very similar to anthy & utena either way, but i'm no expert. please elaborate, i'd like to hear it!! i'm primarily interested in narrative placement lol so that's mostly what i've thought about. vriska helps her abuser to violently perpetuate societal norms while taking all the blame for it. terezi has a society-aligned sense of justice that she tries to apply to vriska before realizing love is the answer. doc scratch is there
