OH HECK YEA BIRCH AND IMPALA STORY DUMP TIME

Impala is a hippie from the rock tribe. She started to travel out since her 21st birthday because she felt like an outcast in her own tribe. She'd be on the road in her own buddy bug van for a few years.

Meanwhile Birch is the only son of Rosiepuff, a huge sweetheart, like a friendly bear with big warm hugs and is a good protector. He was a friend of King Peppy, one of his right hand men! Birch's greatest talent was balancing safety with fun times and parties.

When Birch and Impala met, it really was love at first sight, no matter how corny it sounded. Birch never met a troll as cool as Impala, and Impala thought Birch was incredibly adorable and handsome. So they started to talk and Impala slowly joined the Pop Tribe. Due to her aesthetic, King Peppy thankfully wasn't so set on pushing her away due to being Rock.

Birch and Impala became the most flashy couple in Pop tree village, everyone knew them, and Impala's music sounded familiar yet unique, new and addicting. Becoming trapped in absolute vibes and comforting flows of psychedelic music.

Birch and Impala got married and of course had more than enough love to share with kids they wanted, so they started having them. JD being the first obvi 🤭 here's each of the BroZone kids' dynamics with their parents

best friends on a weekend getaway together? what could go wrong?

"I can't get the water to turn warm." Wille whips around, turning towards Simon, the stack of clothes he just lifted out of his suitcase still in hand. And almost drops it, when he gets a good look of his friend. Wille swallows hard, deliberately not focusing on the white hotel towel slung low around his waist. He can do this. He fucking promised himself he could get through this weekend get-away without making an idiot out of himself. And so he takes what he hopes is an innocuous breath. "Should I go and ask at reception, or- ," Wille tries, but Simon interrupts him with an exasperated sigh. It's only then that Wille notices that both of his arms, now crossed in front of his chest, are still wet. And he really doesn't need to keep thinking about the fact that, if he hadn't been interrupted, Simon would now be standing in that shower, naked, only the thin bathroom door between them. Wille doesn't know when things changed and Simon's nakedness became a thing he consciously noticed and felt some kinda way about, but somehow, with Simon very exposed while Wille isn't, it's difficult not to notice. He quickly averts his eyes, brings them back up to level with Simon's. "I mean, I can't figure out all the shower controls in there," Simon says and lifts a hand up to run through his curls. "There are way too many buttons on that thing," he complains, and Wille huffs a laugh at his pout. He knows the line of thought is dangerous, and he really should try to stop thinking about his best friend this way, but Simon is cute when he's frustrated. "And...," he adds, impatiently gesturing toward the bathroom door he left open, like Wille isn't following. Which, maybe, he isn't. "A good friend, aware of his own unnecessarily extravagant hotel choices, would help me figure that shit out." Oh. Wille quickly nods, and before he can come up with a snarky thing to retort, Simon turns on his heels and stalks back into the bathroom. Which is fine, totally, there's nothing wrong with being in the bathroom with a barely covered up Simon. Nothing at all. And there is nothing wrong with Simon leaning back against the sink, arms stretched out behind him as he watches Wille. Fucking watches him, one side of his mouth curled up in amusement, probably thoroughly entertained by the fact that Wille himself hits the wrong button a couple of times. Just as he's about to give up and offer to go ask at the reception desk after all, he feels the spray hitting his forearms get warmer and warmer. So at least he now gets bragging rights over figuring the shower out before Simon did. "It's not that complicated," he starts, a blatant lie, "you just need to -" When he turns back around, Simon is right in front of him, a lot closer than he was earlier, a lot closer than Wille ever remembers him being, at least in this state of undress. He might be imagining things, but it feels like he can feel the heat coming off of Simon even through his own shirt. Involuntarily, he swallows again.

"I, I can..." There's definitely enough space in the bathroom, definitely enough space so that either of them can take a step back just fine, but Wille feels rooted in place. When he watches Simon's eyes drop to his lips, just for the fraction of a second, his pulse is hammering heavily in his ears. "I'm going to let you, leave you to..." Fuck, he can't control the stammering, feels like an idiot, like the most embarrassing person that's ever lived like- Simon's hand is on his arm suddenly. Warm and gentle, fingers sprawling across Wille's bicep. He's going to die. He's losing his mind. Because why is Simon tugging on Wille's arm, pulling it towards him? Wille holds his breath, doesn't dare make a move, lets Simon pull him even closer. When his fingertips first make contact with the warm, soft skin of Simon's waist, Simon's eyes slip closed for a moment, like on accident. Nothing about this makes sense, none of it, but the single touch, the contact of his fingers and the skin of the man he's touched a million times before, courses through Wille's body like lightning. When Simon carefully presses down on his biceps, Wille mimics him, takes a hold oh his waist. Eyes glued to Simon's face, he watches him lick his lips. The words that make it out of the beautiful mouth that Wille desperately wants to latch onto are barely more than a whisper. "You can stay."

sending you this ask because i'm personally trying to stay away from the mouthwashing fandom even though i liked the game, but i want to talk abt it - does it make you feel weird too how often fanart makes jimmy so much darker-skinned than other characters? i've seen him drawn even darker than daisuke. especially when it's him and curly next to eachother i see a lot of weird racial implications in curly being very light skinned and blonde and such and standing next to jimmy who is the villain and is drawn unkempt, tan-skinned and dark-haired. i know some of it comes from their models themselves but i've seen it exaggerated to the point where it makes me rlly uncomfortable, especially as a native person who's even an SA survivor. like having darker skin doesn't make you more evil, jimmy's a bad guy because of what he did. and ik curly is designed that way because he's like the "perfect model guy" who's actually not perfect and fucked up a lot! there's a lot behind the design choices at play of course. it just kind of makes me uncomfortable how exaggerated people make it in fanart, to the degree where i think most don't even realize they're creating racial bias. what are your thoughts?

i honestly cant say that this is something ive seen myself, whether it be due to just not seeing fanart like that or my likeliness to connect those dots, but it really doesnt at all shock me that that'd be something going on. quite honestly my interpretation of unkempt appearances in fanart was based off a toxic masculinity-esque headcanon (ex self care, grooming, and appearance being seen as typically "feminine"), but that combined with skin colour can definitely raise some eyebrows. as you said, i dont really think this lies in any conscious racial bias. and i obviously dont know these people, but id be willing to bet it boils down to "i think he'd look better tanned" without giving much thought to how that translates to his role in the game.

jimmy's appearance in relation to curly's is something i think of quite a lot quite honestly, and as you said a lot of it lies in their relationship in game. in terms of skin tone though, the difference really isnt all that big

a good natured skin tone change is a REALLY unfortunate combination with people's unwillingness to analyse jimmy's motivations as much as curly's, writing it off as "because he's crazy" or whatever else (which brings ableism into the question but thats a different conversation.) compared to curly, often seen with a pretty unchanged design, who is mostly seen as someone who has a good heart and strong leadership skills, who made a misguided decision which ended up being unintentionally catastrophic. this ends up being dramaticised, as you sorta said, into a standard (albeit unintentional) good v evil dynamic, which is obviously tremendously boiled down compared to the motivations or decisions of both jimmy and curly.

(also also this isnt meant to say jimmy is entirely the product of his environment, he made did shitty and dangerous shit on his own terms. i just think its irresponsible to completely write off his environment/ life leading up to the game as something entirely unrelated. boiling his actions down to just "because he's fucked up" ultimately ends up taking away from the humanity of people with similar mental disorders, painting them as dangerous. again, different and very nuanced conversation i dont really have the right words for.)

like i said, very unfortunate combination of (what i would think to be) a well meaning design change and a lack of understanding of the nuance of jimmy's character and motivations. which is, of course, something you're more than likely well aware of.

this doesnt take away from your point tho, objectively people are in fact still making the violent + dangerous man darker skinned while leaving the "nicer" one the same. this is certainly not the first example ive seen in fandoms ive been in (looking at you danganronpa + genshin) and more than likely wont be the last. its tough to bring up the topic to people who do something like this, as it seems so innocuous at first glance (see: me not even seeing something like this at first), and id imagine people would be quick to be pretty defensive seeing as, again, they more than likely didnt mean anything by it. pointing out unconscious biases like this can lead people to think you're accusing them of something, which is almost never the case. typical situation of becoming defensive when racist behaviour gets pointed out, relying on them not being *a* racist, which ive admittedly done myself at one point or another.

and to get this out of the way, give jimmy whatever skin tone and appearance you like, you can do what you want. i just think you should also take into consideration what message is being sent if jimmy, the "monstrous" character, is the only character you make darker skinned and unkempt.

this is very messy and honestly very presumptuous of people's intentions and such, but you can understand my main idea. im really glad you're interested in my thoughts on this n wanted to hear what i had to say btw :3

Sam still has a few weeks to go and he's been taking a look at different houses, a bunker isn't a place to raise a child and there's too many memories tied to the bunker.

He's a few towns away from Lebanon, he has a few houses on the list, one in particular is his favorite. Nice backyard, spacious for him and their his son.

He's on the road when the first contraction hit.

He tells himself it's Braxton Hicks and that he just needs to get some water and to walk it off for a bit. The problem is that he's about an hour away from the next town.

He pulls over when he gets another strong contraction, decides to walk around the car, and his water breaks.

Sam calls 911 and let's them know how far away he is and how close his contractions are.

He's hoping that he'd make it to the hospital, he's hoping Dean would have been here to be part of this moment.

All he has is the family car, and a shirt from Dean he's been using as a security blanket. It still smells like him.

He's in the backseat since it has the most room and he's trying his best to hold it together but the contractions are too close together and there's no way in hell this baby is waiting for paramedics to get here.

It's another few minutes and he feels he has to push, he isn't sure why his labor is progressing this quickly and at the moment he hates Dean for not letting him try to bring him back. They could have but he knows deep within his heart if he had brought him back, it would be another world ender.

He gets his jeans off and bears down and pushes, after three pushes Dean Junior is out and a very strong crier.

Sam wraps him up in Dean's old shirt and he calms instantly.

Dean couldn't physically be here, but maybe he was in another way for them.

It’s a tough question tho, ‘cuz there’s so many I like that it’s hard to say! Here’s a few in no particular order- but again I like a lotta old cars so it’s not gonna be an exhaustive list

(also btw none of the pics here are mine lol- every time I see a classic car I like irl, I always seem to be driving myself so I never can get good pics 😭)

The late 50s T-bird (I’m not crazy about the color of this one but hey it’s still really cool- dig the porthole window in the back)

2. The ‘67 Impala (fun dumb fact about me- I carry a toy impala in my school bag. When I get bored in class I take it out and either try to draw it or roll it at my friends to bug them)

3. Some early ‘70s Datsuns! These are harder for me to classify ‘cuz the models are given numbers, not traditional names, and I don’t always do so good with numbers lol. I think this one’s a ‘72 240C. But w/ these it’s not so much a specific model I like- I just like the vibes of most of the ones that look like this. (I saw one sorta like this one at a motor show once, I wish I had gotten a better picture- but I didn’t so take this one I found online lol)

4. The ‘58 Plymouth Fury- Very “Christine”, I know, but I can’t help it, she’s such a great lookin car holy hell. Plus I liked Plymouth furies before I knew they had anything to do with Stephen King ok (Funnily enough, a week or so before I wound up reading “Christine”, I saw one of these in a Dairy Queen parking lot. Me and my buddy got so hyped about it that I momentarily forgot that my kid brother had just dropped his melting cherry dipped cone directly onto my shorts)

If Birch and Impala were still alive that would definitely mean Rosiepuff would've never gotten snatched by Chef so she would simply peacefully pass away with old age.

I think Branch would be gray for a way shorter amount of time, because Impala and Birch would ofc be upset that their other kids left too

Impala is already considered a "weirdo" to the pop tribe lowkey due to her not being pop, but other than that they would encourage Branch to interact with the village, especially Trolls his own age to get his mind off of his brothers leaving.

Wille never wants the moment to end and shifts to pull Simon even closer, one hand on his hips, one on his chest. Simon must be scared he's pulling away, because with an arm shooting behind him he's grabbing a hold of Wille's waist. "Stay," he pleads, so small and quiet that Wille can barely reconcile it with the loud moans of just a few moments ago. "Sorry for... being a lot..." And that? Simon thinking he's wrong for not holding back? Wrong for gifting his sweet sounds to Wille? For letting Wille hear that voice in all its facets? That just won't do. Like by its own volition, his hand starts trailing upwards, away from the center of Simon's chest and towards his neck. "No?," Simon whispers, almost imperceptibly moving back against Wille, trying to get ever so slightly closer, settling into the hold Wille has on him. "No," Wille whispers back. The sudden shift in atmosphere is letting a new heat course through him, one that he's sure Simon must feel as well. "You liked it?" Simon asks, voice low, but oh, Wille can feel the vibrations of his throat against his palm, feels like he's not only caressing his skin, but caressing his voice as well. He hums, deep in his throat, tightens his grip, just so, just a little, just enough for Simon to notice and feel that Wille loved it, that Wille loves him, that Wille loves that voice and all the ways in which it drives him crazy. Simon's moan tells him that he feels it, that he knows.

Hey psst, do you write? If so, what have you written? Whats your favorite story/something else you've made?

Thanks for the ask! I don’t really write. I have ideas that sometimes become head cannons but otherwise they usually get lost in the transition to paper. Or if they do get written I commonly despise it and end up deleting it. I do hope to write a fic soon, I’m not sure what if though. My favourite head cannon I’ve made is a Supernatural one about, as a quick summary, Dean telling Baby all his secrets, fears, or just plain old talking to it. This leads to some interesting situations (Baby accidently spilling Deans secrets, for example his crush on Cas) when Baby is hit with a curse turning it human. Hope that counts.
