Some ULTRAKILL Character's love language headcanons! (In order of preferred to least preferred thing) (Long post, everything is under the cut)

• V2: Words of Affirmation, Receiving Gifts, Physical Touch, Quality Time, Acts of Service

I think that V2 desperately wants to be seen as their own person, but also feels like they're constantly in V1's shadow. Because of this their favorite thing is when people compliment them on literally anything because they have low self-esteem when it comes to their abilities compared to V1. I think they'd also like receiving gifts because it is something entirely their own. Physical touch is nice because I imagine that they haven't received many friendly/non-aggressive touches in general. They'd also enjoy quality time because they like it when people pay attention to them, and I think they like it as much as physical touch. They appreciate acts of service, but they'd prefer other things because chances are they are capable or think they're capable of whatever the other person has done for them.

• V1: Acts of Service, Quality Time, Physical Touch, Receiving Gifts, Words of Affirmation.

I think it's kinda just,, hardwired into V1 that helping someone is The thing to do to make someone feel better (save their life) in a war, and it transfers to how it feels in general. Similar reasons behind quality time. It also is alright with physical touch. It isn't a fan of gifts because unless it's a gun or something else useful, it has no use for it. Words of affirmation are completely useless to it, beyond just being feedback for how it can do one of the first three things better.

• Gabriel: Physical Touch, Quality Time, Acts of Service, Words of Affirmation, Receiving Gifts

Gabriel is so unused to receiving a touch that isn't someone attacking him that he never realized it was his favorite thing, and accepts it whenever. Quality time and acts of service tie in with physical touch where he has never really had it directed at him because he's been too busy being the hand of the Father and Judge of Hell, and really really appreciates it being directed at him. He's iffy on words of affirmation because on one hand he does like being complimented, but on the other hand he is really used to being complimented so he's desensitized. He appreciates the sentiment behind gifts, but he's so used to being busy that he doesn't get why someone would give him something unless it is extremely useful to him.

• Sisyphus: Acts of Service, Quality Time, Physical Touch, Receiving Gifts, Words of Affirmation

Sisyphus eludes me if I'm being honest. I think that the thing he would default to for showing affection is acts of service, and he would enjoy quality time in general, and freely give out touches to Minos, but I have no fucking clue what the specifics would be. Like I don't know what he would enjoy receiving as a show of affection.

• Minos: Quality Time, Physical Touch, Words of Affirmation, Acts of Service, Receiving Gifts

I think that he would just enjoy spending time with the people he cares about. He's just a really affectionate guy and enjoys all of these things, but less so about the material aspect of affection.

• Ferryman: Acts of Service, Quality Time, Words of Affirmation, Receiving Gifts, Physical Touch

I think the Ferryman LOVES to cook, especially for friends and family, and they like to cook with people. That's about the only way they remember how to show affection, but they generally just appreciate any affection in general. Acts of service and quality time are their favorites, but they still do enjoy the other three.
