Like most of the time, you knew Bruce for a long time. Since childhood. Kindergarten best friend.

But you never become strangers

even after everything happened to bruce

But luckily you were always in touch, maybe even (closer after the accident) more than that because his house was yours, what Alfred to Bruce was the same to you. The picture you guys took in the second year of kindergarten and the one Alfred took at you guys’ high school graduation were hanging on the Wayne Manor’s walls for years. 

You knew him like the back of your hand. (that includes him being the Batman also)

It didn’t take you long enough to figure out that a guy dressed like a bat following you or your car when you went out late at night. And one of the nights when he approached to you and said ‘’there’s some burglars and dropheads around the corner, don’t do anything stupid.’’ 

and when you turned around to look at his face you know that it was him

‘’ calling people stupid is rude bruce’’ was the only thing that came out of your mouth

I mean he was going out a lot saying that he had thing to do at the company and come back very late at night or sometimes when you called him it was Alfred that answered the phone 

and bruce never missed to opportunity to talk (mostly listen) to you, even it was the stupidest thing like few months ago your goldfish billy stayed still for 30 minutes and you thought that he died and it was the most important thing that night and you had to tell that to bruce 

bruce listened to you talk about billy for almost 45 minutes, billy was just fine but listening to you was like therapy to bruce so he didn’t mind a bit

so when the guy that listened you talk shit for almost an hour stopped answering your phone calls you knew something was up

so when you said ’’calling people stupid is rude bruce’’ he was shook 

because he was thinking that he was doing so well hiding the other guy from you

but you didn’t judge him for his decision that he made

he wanted revenge for his family’s death but without killing anyone

and you understand that

but sometimes, some nights would be so bad he would come back to manor looking like if he stayed there 5 more minutes he would be the one that got killed 

it would scare the shit out of you

so you decide to take the matter on your hands 

There was a fancy dinner thing in 2 days one of your good friends were hosting and you had to go there with someone because they were always asking if you had someone in your life and you eventually said yes to stop them talking but your dating life was not that good, you were just not a relationship person.

but sometimes coming from a well known family comes with the consequences

so you went to the Wayne Manor that night to talk to Bruce

‘’hey can you do me a favor’’

he was watching the footage he got the other night so without looking at you he nod his head ‘’sure what’s up’’ 

‘’can you be my boyfriend for just one night?’’

he heard you say weird things but that was probably the weirdest one

that was the only thing he was able to say from the shock 

‘’yeah one of my friends has this dinner thing and they were asking if I was dating someone so I said that you guys will see him at dinner, but the problem is I’m not dating anyone but I need them to stop talking, so will you come with me the dinner it’s on friday night?’’ 

‘’are you asking mE to cOME with yOU’’

‘’yeah, is Batman free Friday night?’’

I mean he’s not, but Gotham criminals has to wait for one night. 

‘’Batman is not, Bruce can be.’’

‘’okay great, so I can come here by 6 so we can go there together?’’

‘’or I can pick you up from yours it can be easier?’’

he was going to have to deal with so many problems for not going patrolling one night, but you were the one that asking

2 days passed way to quickly and you were stressed  

Bruce showed up at your door at 6.30 looking incredible  

‘’thanks for doing this, it means a lot’’

he was opening the door for you while talking ‘’what? being your date for one night? if nobody will talk to me it will be very easy.’’ 

‘’yeah.. I can’t promise about that one.’’ 

the dinner was not easy for bruce, everyone wanted to talk to him and he only wanted to talk to you

‘’yeah you’re Bruce Wayne, some parents tells their kids about you like you’re some kind of myth, some of them were not sure that you were even real until you walked in here’’

he knew that this (being around people) was gonna be hard but some of these people were testing him

you didn’t see your friend that was hosting the dinner coming your way until Bruce poked you with his finger and pointed her with his eyes

(yes, he poked you, being friends for a long time has consequences like that)

‘’hey honey I didn't know you were talking about Bruce Wayne himself when you were saying that you had a boyfriend. You two are very private about your relationship, aren’t you? I mean I’m not surprised, you guys known each other for years.’’

you felt Bruce stiffen behind you, and you felt like you needed to answer your friend

‘’yeah we’re not that public, we just feel safe around each other and it just feels right. I guess the gossip in Gotham doesn’t get around that quickly.’’

‘’so how long you guys have been dating for?’’

‘’3 months.’’

‘6 years’’

but when your friend said her first sentence he was just holding your left hand and now he was practically hugging you from behind while your left arm was holding captive by him 

you excused yourself from your friend saying that you were going to talk to your other friends but you were just going to sit at the couch with Bruce

  the party was not cheap. How can a party hosted by someone that comes from one of the richest families in  Gotham can be cheap?

but everything in Gotham was cheap to him, you sometimes forgot that he was a billionaire because you were so used to his lifestyle it was normal to you.

you were talking nonsense while your head was pressed to his chest and he was holding both champagnes in his hand 

you missed moments likes these

while everyone was leaving

he just think that kissing you was the right thing to do

and so he did

and you were shocked but you responded quickly

so when you asked why he did that

he just said ‘’ I thought we were dating’’

because you were, at least that night

so when he was dropping you home, when you were about to leave the car you placed a small kiss on his lips

‘’I think it hasn’t past 12 so technically we are still dating’’

next morning Alfred encouraged him to go and talk to you

and followed him around his room to wear some cologne 

so he showed up at your house to take you on a real date 

while wearing the same cologne that his dad wore when he took Martha to their first date

Alfred felt relieved

What fandom(s) did you leave? Can you leave sth that you never entered? ∠( ᐛ 」∠)＿lmaooo. I tend to avoid the Fandoms in general (like Naruto, Bigbang, Witcher, etc.) but even when I’m sorta active in some (like Boboiboy and DC) , I never really leave the ones I was a part of? I just stopped being active haha. Unless that’s what the Q meant? Hm. I change and revisit different ones all the time so eh nvm

What fandom(s) from the past did you return to? DC/Batfam, Transformers, Naruto, Running Man!!

What show/book/movie etc. was your comfort and/or escape this year? Oh...the Witcher books and game, for sure. :”) <3 and tons of DC comics haha. Merlin too. And lots, lots of fanfics of the ones I just mentioned lmao

What creative work are you most proud of (your own or someone else’s)? Uuuhhh- my Batman!Cass mock-cover art, I guess? :0 And there’s a bunch of awesome fics I found this year which are amazing.

Did you have any new ships this year?  Lol i stopped having new ships since 2013. Idk my romance radar kinda just. Died off as I grow older, thankfully. I still enjoy some pairings from time to time, but my heart is never into them? Not like I feel towards platonic ships or friendships--I literally go crazy and obsess over them lmao. I guess if we’re talking platonic pairs: Geralt and Dandelion. Merlin and Arthur, but that was kinda from 2019-2020 sooo- yeah. Platonic love ftw.

i haven’t rly thought about making a mix in ages...so idk if i will for villaneve. i listen to killing eve’s spotify playlist and that’s enough for me. like “cry baby cry” and “issues” ?? just to name a couple?? 

and i’ve been listening to cigarettes after sex’s debut album which is basically my villaneve playlist tbh. almost each track has like a line that SPEAKS villaneve to me - or like how the vibe of the entire album is just a broody ass villanelle thinking bout how she just wants a normal, cool and fun life with eve or sth. I’LL SHARE WITH U some thoughts bc CLEARLY i’m not leaving this pit anytime soon

“K” - the song they used in ep 2 where villanelle does her job in bulgaria. just..the VIBE of this entire song fucking preaches to me i can’t explain it like at one part i think “post-sex villaneve” but also “villaneve is angsty and fucked up as hell i love 2 suffer”

“apocalypse” - “your lips / my lips / apocalypse....come out and haunt me / i know you want me” i mean the title itself is self-explanatory bc when v and eve are apart, there’s so much build up its just revving up for a big leap bc they rly do want something from each other but then u put them together and everything just crashes and burns its a fucking mess. then the outro verse is like...deep down.....if things were normal, then maybe..?

“flash” - verse 2 is so literal after the finale like fuck off i don’t have time for figurative/symbolic shit im sure villanelle doesn’t either so 

“sweet” - this track is so romantic as fuck and u kno what?  ep8 just proved to me that both v and eve are actual romantics in their own fucked up way that only they can understand b/w each other. and that line “and i will gladly break it, i will gladly break my heart for you” -- clearly villanelle prob wouldn’t break her heart for anyone BUT LIKE IN MY HEADCANON whatever constitutes as love to her, she’ll PROB do whatever for eve (but maybe without evening the odds first) (i mean she DID put her guard down only for eve right????) (this is my wishful thinking my HOPEFUL wishful thinking) (my headcanon is that *SPOILERS* v is actually more turned on that eve actually stabbed her and in fact, all this running and hiding and chasing is all foreplay)
