me: *is having the typical mid-twenties life crisis about how everyone’s life seems to be moving forward except mine even though we’re in a pandemic so everyone’s pretty stuck right now anyway but that doesn’t make my life feel any less stagnant*

#asjdfhajkshjda i am in Crisis #that meme with the bandaid over the hole in the giant watertank but it's me buying floral dresses to ignore the crushing weight of adulthood #ciara things #also this has nothing to do with anything #but i honestly feel like i'm impersonating a human being when i have to talk to people about their dogs #like my friend is texting rn about how they had to take their bf's dog to the vet #and i'm like mmm wow so sad give him cuddles #but in my head i'm like am i doing this right #bc i've had a phobia of dogs since i was 6 so the best i can ever hope to feel is Neutral towards any particular dog #which means i never know what to say in these kinds of situations bc i literally can't fathom ever wanting to cuddle a dog #lmfao anyway yes i'm still having a crisis
