Back in 2012, I was in a production of #JoyLuckClub at @vintagetheatreproductions!! It was a beautiful show, and was the first #AllAsianCast on a #DenverStage!! It was during that show that #TheatreEspritAsia was born. A theatre company founded by #panAsianAmericanArtists for pan Asian American Artists. At the time the Asian community felt that there weren’t a lot of roles offered to artists, so this theatre was formed. Over the years they brought beautiful shows to the Denver metro area and in 2019 they rebranded to #InsightColabTheatre!! I’m truly so grateful to be part of this theatre as the current President. We strive to spotlight inclusive, innovative, and inspiring works to illuminate our shared human experience. We welcome passionate partnerships with all; avow to cultivate emerging artists; dare the audience to expand their worldview; and affirm that anything is possible for anyone.
