NAME: Ashton Reid Mccormick NICKNAME(S): Ash AGE: 30 BIRTH DAY/ZODIAC: December 10th, Sagittarious BIRTHPLACE: St. Cloud, MN CURRENT LOCATION: Chicago, IL OCCUPATION: Gas station attendent HAIR COLOR: Brown EYE COLOR: Blue HEIGHT: Five foot seven (5'7'') OTHER NOTED FEATURES: a scar near his right eyebrow -: Lazy, Sarcastic 。:*<TRIVIA>
The third youngest of seven children. Ash was adopted into the family at the age of four. His relationship with most of his siblings is surface level, the only one he regularly talks to is his oldest brother Heath, who he shares an apartment with.
Works at the local gas station owned by his uncle. He isn’t the best employee, but he’s not bad enough that they can convince his uncle to toss him.
Those who don’t know him well would say he was snarky, cynical, and a bit of a jackass. And those who did know him well might not say much different. But deep, deep, deep down inside there’s someone who does actually care, despite what his outer appearance might express.

Victorious AU
So I’ve been thinking of messing around with a Victorious AU that’s similar to the Burlesque AU I thought of around a year or so ago in that It’s basically a massive modern au with all my OCs involved somehow. And as I recently got a new phone that comes with a pen and has a drawing section in the notes, I figured I’d draw the OCs that star in the AU! Some of them don’t look as they normally would, though, because they had to be turned into fully-human characters! At most that means their teeth or eyes have changed. I’ll eventually do a headshot for all my ocs, but these were the ones I wanted to do for now. Here we go!
Ashton Fairweather: Dancer/Stunt Double, Junior (3rd year)
Ashton is homoromantic asexual & is crushing on/ eventually ends up with Kenny McCormick, a singer in their grade. His mom used to teach dance at the school. He prefers ballet and pole dancing and is vice-captain of the cheer team. He and Jasper used to be dance partners.
Jasper Wells: Dancer-> Songwriter/Guitar player, Junior (3rd year)
Jasper is homoromantic demisexual & is in a polyamorous relationship with Adrien Agreste, an actor/piano player in his grade, and recently graduated guitar player/singer/songwriter Luka Couffaine. Jasper starts off as a dancer at the school, but after a certain incident that completely destroys his vocal cords & affects his breathing, he turns to writing songs and playing guitar. He and Ashton used to be dance partners. His friend Neeks is trying to help him dance again.
Yoru Yukimura: Dancer/Actor, Junior (3rd year)
Yoru is demiromantic asexual & eventually ends up with Shirou Fubuki, a singer/songwriter in his year. He’s new transfer student to the school and he has an odd knack for being able to read people with ease. His singing isn’t amazing but it’s enough for him to pass classes. He still dances after his leg gets injured, but it’s harder and he can’t do as many hard-core dances. Partners with Shirou for pretty much everything involving performances and hates how protective Natsume, his older brother, is some times.
Natsume Yukimura: Actor, Senior (4th year)
(first I’d like to offer apologies for his face looking a bit weird, my hand didn’t agree with me that day) Natsume is bi and currently stuck between crushes on his best friends Haruka and Toshiro. He is Yoru’s older brother and pretty protective over him. He's a good actor, but no one really knows why he goes to a performing arts school when his passion is clearly baking. He’s also great in the make-up courses thanks to his skill at decorating cakes.
Neeks: Dancer/Singer, Junior (3rd year)
Neeks is demiromantic/demisexual & in a sort-of-romantic relationship with Plagg, a dancer/actor in his grade. It’s complicated. No one knows Neeks’ real name and he’s sort of like Jasper’s big brother after Jasper’s incident. He is working with Jasper to help him get back into dancing. He and Plagg are dance partners and his singing isn’t half bad. Adores wolves more than anything.
Haruka Hamasaki: Singer/Costume Designer, Senior (4th year)
Haruka is straight & one of Natsume’s best friends. She doesn’t have a crush on him yet but they’re super close and eventually date in college. Her passion is costume designing and she’s the best in their grade. She’s also a pretty good singer, but she prefers the costume department. Is like the mother of the group and can always be found either doing something or helping someone out.
Hurricane Lantern: Mermaid Performances/Singer, Senior (4th year)
Hurricane is demiromantic/demisexual & crushing super hard on his best friend Tyler Ridgemount, an actor/ director in their grade. Hurricane got into the school via singing but his true passion is mermaid performances. He practically lives and breathes swimming and is captain of the swim team. At some point his relationship with Ty becomes strained and he decides to put his heart on his sleeve one last time before they graduate. He doesn’t plan to stick around after graduation.
Koray Storm: Actor/Tech Theatre, Senior (4th year)
Koray is demiromantic homosexual & crushing on Yuusei Fudo, an actor in their grade. He spends more time on the tech team than he does acting but he doesn’t mind. He’s a bit of a troublemaker but has a heart of gold. Spends his free time riding around on his motorcycle and visiting the local orphanages.
Hiraku Kurosawa: Tech Theatre, Senior (4th year)
Hiraku is demiromantic asexual & eventually crushes on his friend Yuusaku Fujiki, a singer/guitar player that’s a sophomore (2nd year). He got into the school by acting but told the teachers flat-out that he really just wanted to work in the technical theatre department. He’s always tinkering with things and can be found covered in oil and grease outside of school. He works at his dad’s mechanic shop and is close friends with Koray. His older sister went missing a few years ago, and this year the case has finally taken a dark turn.
Drakon Silverstar: Actor/Singer, Senior (4th year)
Drakon is panromantic demisexual & freaks out the second he starts crushing on his friend Varian, a singer/actor/tech theatre kid who is also a freshman (1st year). He likes to joke that he’s half dragon and can often be seen with gold and blue stripes in his hair. Sometimes he’ll even wear contacts w/ dragon pupils and fake fangs. He’s close with the others but sort of became Varian’s support pillar after Varian had a difficult falling-out with his friends and actually helps them reconcile! Puts friendship before crushes every time and has a strained relationship with his family.

Facing arguably their toughest matchup of the tournament without their best player, Auburn found a way to gut out an incredible victory and punch their first ticket ever to the Final Four.
After boat racing the second most winningest college basketball program in the Kansas Jayhawks in the Round of 32 and putting together a dominant 2nd half against the third most winningest basketball program in the Sweet 16 in the North Carolina Tar Heels, Auburn found themselves facing college basketball’s most winningest program in the Kentucky Wildcats in the Elite 8. The same squad that had beaten the Tigers twice already, including a 27 point thumping in Lexington, KY when the Kats were down Reid Travis and Auburn still had Chuma Okeke. This go around, Auburn would not have their star forward while UK would have their big man. It didn’t look good.
Instead, these Auburn Tigers made history, rallying to take down John Calipari’s Wildcats and head to the Final Four for the first time in school history. They did it with Jared Harper’s drives, Bryce Brown’s shooting and a defensive effort that refused to give an inch down low even though they were out gunned and out manned. I don’t think it’s an understatement to say it was the most important victory in Auburn basketball history and they did it without their best player.
Let’s relive the best moments.
Kentucky
For the first 17 minutes of this contest there sure weren’t a ton of Auburn highlights. However, the Tigers did enough to keep things at a 10-11 point disadvantage for most of the half. Then they caught fire to close out the half starting with this 4 point play by Jared Harper to cut a 10 pt lead to 6.
The next time down the floor Auburn exploited a mismatch beautifully for two points. Anfernee McElmore sets a screen up top for Bryce Brown. McElmore’s man hedges hard to take away the three but that results in Kentucky’s point guard Ashton Hagans being matched up on Anfernee. McElmore breaks to the basket off the screen but PJ Washington blocks the entry past for Danjel so he smartly reverses it back to Brown who feeds Auburn’s center down low. McElmore wastes no time going over his right shoulder for the bucket.
Auburn elects to go for the two for one at the end of the half so Jared Harper attacks off the dribble. McElmore sets a high ball screen though it does little to slow down Hagans. But Anfernee smartly attacks the glass and is able to slam home the put back. Auburn was down 10 with just under 3 minutes to go and cut the lead to two with 40 seconds. This team man....
Kentucky’s 5* PG and former Auburn lean Ashton Hagans had 7 turnovers Sunday afternoon. This was a big one early in the 2nd half leading to a transition 3 by Bryce Brown and really the start of Auburn’s big 2nd half run. But what I really love about this play is Jared Harper dishing it to Brown and then slyly giving Tyler Herro the bump so that he can’t block Brown’s shot.

— CBS Sports (@CBSSports) March 31, 2019
This sequence will live in Auburn basketball lore forever. I had to include the actual call because it was such an awesome moment. Bryce Brown goes full Reggie Miller intercepting an ill advised save from PJ Washington and then burying a three from the corner to complete the rare 5 point play. That gave Auburn their first lead of the game and from then on it was a streetfight.
Anfernee McElmore has had an up and down season but Sunday was definitely an up. This is actually a REALLY good back door cut by Herro that beats Malik Dunbar but McElmore does a beautiful job of sliding over, keeping his arms straight up, jumping straight up and blocking the shot. Jared then does what Jared does and quickly gets the ball up court for an alley-oop to J’Von McCormick. Who doesn’t love a point guard alley-oop?
DENIED! #MarchMadness | @AuburnMBB pic.twitter.com/z7KYbkrRbd
— NCAA March Madness (@marchmadness) March 31, 2019
So I HAD to include the sound on this play too because MY GAWD MALIK DUNBAR WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?!?! Relentless is the best way to describe this Auburn team and this play shows it. It started with a missed alley-oop to Dunbar but instead of pouting, he hustles down the court and DENIES Kentucky’s easy basket. It results in a Jared Harper trip to the foul line the other way.
For much of the 2nd half it was the Bryce Brown show but not in the way you normally expect it. Of course there were some deep bombs but with UK aggressively defending Brown on the perimeter he had to create some shots for himself and many came from inside the 3 point line. What I love about this drive is Herro puts his hand up because he’s understandably worried about Brown pulling up suddenly. However, when Brown sees his hand goes up he attacks and gets a step on the UK defender. Then plants his foot and buries the jumper. Plays like this will get NBA scouts attention.
Tyler Herro and Ashton Hagans are Kentucky’s best on ball defenders. They had no answer for Auburn’s backcourt of Bryce Brown and Jared Harper Sunday. Brown AGAIN beats Herro off the dribble and knocks down the step back jumper.
Auburn’s offense hit a serious lull late in the game and the Wildcats surged back ahead with under a minute to play. For most other Auburn teams, Kentucky taking a late lead is probably the end. You aren’t supposed to come back, I mean it’s Kentucky. But this ain’t your momma’s Auburn team. Jared Harper blows by poor Tyler Herro and finishes to tie up the game.
PJ Washington had been an unholy force much of the afternoon and so it was pretty terrifying when he got the ball late with a chance to send UK to the Final Four. But senior Horace Spencer, who has lived through the highs and lows of the Auburn basketball program, held his ground and rejected the big man’s attempt. Then Reid Travis corralled the loose ball, fed it to Keldon Johnson, the #2 scoring threat on the day, who drove only to be met on the opposite side by Anfernee McElmore. Auburn’s front court is far from elite but they sure as hell will make you fight for every single point.
Poor Tyler Herro...
Don’t EVER go to sleep when you are responsible for guarding Jared Harper. He will make you pay.
Anfernee McLemore gets the ROLL! #MarchMadness | #Elite8 pic.twitter.com/aoXCm6smlN
— NCAA March Madness (@marchmadness) March 31, 2019
This might have been my favorite call of the game. EXCUUUUSE ME!
PJ Washington was a monster Sunday but he also had five turnovers. None bigger than this one when McElmore rips him and goes the other way with it. I’m not entirely certain what happens to Anfernee here on the layup but he seems fine and he got the bucket.
Auburn is 3-0 in overtime games this year. Why? Because they have Jared Harper... This might be my favorite finish of his career. He blows by Ashton Hagans and then cleverly dodges Washington in the air before dropping in the sweet floater. When the game is on the line, there is no player in the country I would rather have the ball than Jared Harper.
Any hope Kentucky had at a miracle comeback, Anfernee McElmore promptly swatted away to help send the Tigers to the Final Four. AUBURN IS IN THE FINAL FOUR!!!!
Finally, if you haven’t watched this video yet, you absolutely should.

Auburn’s SEC Schedule is (finally) here!
We are 8 weeks away from the beginning of College Basketball season. Now, you can start making your calendars for when Auburn Basketball will take the court this season.
The SEC released the schedule today for the 2020 season. In SEC play, the Tigers will play:
Home & Away: Alabama, Georgia, Kentucky, Ole Miss, Tennessee
Home Only: LSU, South Carolina, Texas A&M, Vanderbilt
Away Only: Arkansas, Florida, Mississippi State, Missouri
Auburn released their non-conference schedule back on August 1st.
Auburn will appear on CBS 3 times in SEC play and will start on the road in the state of Mississippi once again this season.
Saturday January 4th - at Mississippi State
Time: 3:30PM
Network: SEC Network
League play starts on the first Saturday in 2020 in Starkville. The Bulldogs will have to replace Quinndary Weatherspoon who averaged 18.5 points a game last year along with Lamar Peters and Aric Holman. Guards Tyson Carter and Reggie Perry do return for Ben Howland’s group this year.
Wednesday January 8th - Vanderbilt
Time: 8:00PM
Network: SEC Network
Jerry Stackhouse will visit the Jungle for the first time as a head coach for the Commodores as Vandy will be Auburn’s SEC home opener this year on Wednesday January 8th. Saben Lee and Aaron Nesmith return for Vanderbilt and this year’s roster also features the son of NBA Hall of Famer Scottie Pippen, Scotty Pippen Jr., a talented freshman out of the prestigious Sierra Canyon High School in California. Vanderbilt has nowhere to go but up after going winless in the SEC last year, something that hadn’t been done by anyone since Georgia Tech did it in the 1953-1954 season.
Saturday January 11th - Georgia
Time: 5:00PM
Network: ESPN/ESPN2/ESPNU
As Auburn has traditionally done the last few years, they will host Georgia early in league play, this time on Saturday January 11th. Georgia has one of the top recruits in the country in Anthony Edwards and this will likely be the only time you see him play in Auburn as he looks to be a 1-and-done player. While Nicolas Claxton left early for the NBA, expect Tom Crean’s Georgia team to be much better in Year 2 compared to Year 1.
This next week will be one of the toughest weeks on the calendar as Auburn.
Wednesday January 15th - at Alabama
Time: 8:00PM
Network: ESPN2/ESPNU
Bruce Pearl vs. Nate Oats: Round 1. Oats did well in convincing Kira Lewis Jr, John Petty and others to remain in Tuscaloosa for the upcoming season. They add talented transfer guards in James Bolden from West Virginia and (if deemed eligible) Jahvon Quinerly from Villanova. Oats simultaneously coached at Buffalo while current Auburn Athletic Director Allen Greene held the AD position at Buffalo.
Saturday January 18th - at Florida
Time: 12:30PM
Network: CBS
Like I said, this to me is arguably the toughest week on Auburn’s SEC schedule. Partially because it’s 2 road games, but they’re likely facing 2 of the league’s Top 5-6 squads this week. Right now, Florida is my pick to win the SEC as Andrew Nembhard returns for his sophomore season. Florida also has a highly touted freshmen class but their biggest addition may be Kerry Blackshear Jr., a transfer from Virginia Tech, who was one of the most sought after graduate transfers available this offseason. The Gators are a popular Preseason Top 5 team under Mike White and Auburn has not won in Gainesville since 1996.
Wednesday January 22nd - South Carolina
Time: 6:00PM
Network: ESPN2/ESPNU
Chris Silva is no longer in Columbia which is good news for Auburn fans as Silva torched the Tigers throughout his illustrious career at South Carolina. A.J. Lawson returns for his sophomore season as South Carolina returns to Auburn for the first time since Bruce Pearl and the 2017-2018 Auburn team cut down the nets to celebrate their SEC Regular Season Championship.
Saturday January 25th - Iowa State (SEC/Big 12 Challenge)
Time: TBD
Network: ESPN/ESPN2/ESPNU
While not an SEC game, this game falls in the middle of the league schedule and will be the first time in 4 years that Auburn has hosted the SEC/Big 12 Challenge. The Cyclones will feature guard Tyrese Haliburton and be another team on this year’s schedule that played in the NCAA Tournament last year.
Tuesday January 28th - at Ole Miss
Time: 8:00PM
Network: ESPN/ESPN2/ESPNU
Auburn returns to the Magnolia State for the first of 2 games with Ole Miss on January 28th. Ole Miss surprised many last year going to the NCAA Tournament in Kermit Davis first year in Oxford. Terence Davis has graduated but Breein Tyree and Devontae Shuler return for the Rebels.
Saturday February 1st - Kentucky
Time: 5:00PM OR 7:00PM
Network: ESPN/ESPN2/ESPNU
Auburn will host Kentucky for the 3rd straight year and 2nd straight year on a Saturday. There’s absolutely no excuse for Auburn Arena to not be jammed pack for this one. These teams will meet for the first time since...
I imagine we’ll hear about that game a time or two on the broadcast. Perhaps a College Gameday visit for the first time?
Anyways, Ashton Hagans, E.J. Montgomery, Nick Richards and Immanuel Quickley are back for Kentucky while they bring in their annual highly regarded recruiting class featuring Tyrese Maxey, Kahlil Whitney, Keion Brooks and Johnny Juzang, all top 40 recruits. In addition, they got a graduate transfer from Bucknell in Center Nate Sestina.
In addition to the significance of the game on the court, this will also be a significant game in regards to recruiting as both Auburn and Kentucky are currently battling for the same recruits right now.
Tuesday February 4th - at Arkansas
Time: 6:00PM
Network: SEC Network
Auburn will then have to put the Kentucky game behind them and travel to Fayetteville and see new coach Eric Musselman for the first time. Daniel Gafford is gone but this year is Isaiah Joe’s team. Mason Harris also returns for the Razorbacks and we’ll see how Musselman does taking over for Mike Anderson.
Saturday February 8th - LSU
Time: 11:00AM
Network: ESPN/ESPN2/ESPNU
Last year’s Regular Season SEC Champion LSU comes to Auburn this year. Auburn beat the Bayou Bengals, Will Wade’s first LSU team by 25 in Auburn 2 years ago. Auburn lost a heartbreaker in Baton Rouge last year 83-78. Tremont Waters and Naz Reid are gone but Javonte Smart, Skylar Mays and Marlon Taylor return. They also will feature Trendon Watford, a highly regarded freshmen from Alabama, who elected to leave home and play for LSU.
Wednesday February 12th - Alabama
Time: 6:00PM
Network: ESPN2/ESPNU
It’s a pair of midweek home games this year in the Auburn/Alabama series. In the last 3 years of this series in Auburn, the Tigers have won by 20, 19, and 21 points in those 3 games.
Saturday February 15th - at Missouri
Time: 5:00PM
Network: ESPN/ESPN2/ESPNU
This will be Cuonzo Martin’s 3rd year at Mizzou and this year, they will have to replace Jordan Geist and Jontay Porter. Jeremiah Tilmon returns along with Mark Smith. In last year’s regular season meeting, Auburn recorded the largest margin of victory (34) over an SEC opponent since the opening of Auburn Arena. Auburn also ended Missouri’s season last year with their first of 4 wins in the SEC Tournament.
Wednesday February 19th - at Georgia
Time: 6:00PM
Network: ESPN/ESPN2/ESPNU
Auburn returns to where the magic all started for last year’s team. A 3 point win over Georgia in Athens last year was the start of a 12 game win streak that catapulted Auburn into their 1st ever Final Four. Auburn has won in back to back years in Athens and 4 straight overall in the series. Auburn hasn’t won 3 straight in Athens since winning 5 straight times there from 1976-1980.
Saturday February 22nd - Tennessee
Time: 11:00AM
Network: CBS
Auburn will face Tennessee for the first time since the SEC Championship game inside Auburn Arena. Auburn will play Tennessee twice in the team’s final 5 games.
Tuesday February 25th - Ole Miss
Time: 6:00PM
Network: ESPN/ESPN2/ESPNU/SEC Network
This will be Auburn’s only Tuesday night home game in SEC play. Kermit Davis had Bruce Pearl’s number last year as Ole Miss won both games against the Tigers last year. Ole Miss held Auburn to their season low in points at home when they scored just 55 in a 60-55 loss last February 13th.
Saturday February 29th - at Kentucky
Time: 2:45PM
Network: CBS
1988.
That’s the last time Auburn won at Rupp Arena in Lexington. While Ole Miss held Auburn to their season low at home, Kentucky held Auburn to their lowest point total of the year in last year’s meeting at Rupp Arena, a 80-53 Kentucky win. That game served as a turning point for the team as they didn’t lose again until they got all the way to Minneapolis.
Wednesday March 4th - Texas A&M
Time: 6:00PM
Network: ESPN/ESPN2/ESPNU
Austin Wiley, Anfernee McLemore, Samir Doughty, Danjel Purifoy and J’Von McCormick will all play their final home games in an Auburn uniform Wednesday March 4th against Texas A&M. Buzz Williams will make his Auburn Arena debut as the new coach of the Aggies. The last time these two played in Auburn was 2 years ago when the Aggies dealt Auburn their lone home loss of the 2017-2018 season.
Saturday March 7th - Tennessee
Time: 11:00AM
Network: ESPN/ESPN2/ESPNU
For the 2nd straight year, Auburn will play Tennessee in their Regular Season finale. However, this time the game will be in Knoxville and I’ll be extremely interested to see what kind of reception Bruce Pearl gets there this time. A lot of things have changed since the Tigers got their first SEC win of the 2017-2018 season the last time these two teams met in Knoxville. Hopefully Auburn doesn’t have to wait another 20 years to win again in Knoxville as that was Auburn’s first win there since 1998.
With a roster and a schedule, now we can really begin the countdown to basketball season! It’s only 60 days away! War Eagle!
