Dear @littleskrib​. No matter how often I try forming words to put here to express my joy and thanks for this, my brain goes blank, and I zone out beaming at them like the proverbial moron every single time. There is a puddle on the floor, and that is me. I have reduced to an amoeba, and there’s just no way to function any longer. 

So have this: Thank you, so endlessly, for this beautiful, beautiful piece of fanart for Magpie. Every time I look at this, my heart still skips like it did the first time you showed me the lineart, and I just can’t even! <3

Snowflakes glisten on Eren’s flushed cheeks. His mane is an untied wet mess. His breath puffs in ragged big clouds, mingling with Levi’s own. His lips look like ripe berries in summer. 

Their trousers are soaked with frosty water. The snow is gnawing at Levi’s knees and shins. The chill bites in his lungs. Making his foot ache, his toes numb. 

They should go back so he can dress Eren into dry clothes. So he can warm Eren up with some tea, and yet Levi can’t bring himself to move. 

Equally unwilling to stand, Eren holds his gaze, brushing a strand out of Levi’s brow. He gulps, his raspy whisper sounding clear in the surrounding silence. “You look beautiful under the sky. Like you were made for it.”
