THERES SOMETHING WEIRD ABOUT THIS WARRIOR CATS BACKGROUND CHARACTER.#this dude first appears in fire and ice as nightstars deputy#he is said to have come out of retirement to become deputy#but he. did not appear in itw at all. but you know who did? ASHFUR. the old shadowclan one#ashfur has the exact same description in the allegiances as cinderfur. 'thin gray tom'#ashfur was an elder in itw and he helps firepaw and graypaw take back shadowclan from brokenstar. he doesnt appear again#but you know who appears in fire and ice? cinderfur.#ashfur only shows up in the allegiances alongside cinderfur then vanishes in forest of secrets#but i think that ashfur and cinderfur were the same character and they jsut misremembered his name and shit happened and#they became separate characters#they were only given different appearances in exile from shadowclan. like 20yrs later#but anyway. thats my conspiracy theory.#i drew him separately from ashfur anyway cause they are different in the allegiances. but i burden you with this knowledge.#wc design
