i don't have any secrets to tell ashdkshdk i've just been drawing for like 10+ years— lots of failures and struggles, lots of trial and error, lots of practice really. i just look up some references, and i draw them until my hand gets used to it. but i know i still need improvements to my art especially when it comes to coloring(i suck at color theory as well 💀). for now, i just observe other artist's way of coloring and try if i can apply it to my art just to see if i can improve

a "kintype" refers to an animal, concept, thing, or character that someone identifies as/considers to be a large part of their personal identity. this can be for spiritual reasons (such as past lives), or psychological reasons, or a combination of both.

that is the simplest most efficient way i can think to explain it ashdkshdk “kinning” is the memey verb form that i would argue no one uses seriously and the whole assigning people kins thing is just Jokes

how'd you figure out that you were nb? I think I might be and have felt so in the past, but I'm super confused and have no idea. I get really stuck on the fact that there's no certain way to be nb and I pysch myself out of even thinking I'm nb :') -✨

Hmmm… One big sign that a lot of people seem to miss is just wanting to be nonbinary. Like.. I know when i was questioning i would think things like “i don’t FEEL nonbinary, but i really WANT to be nonbinary” and i’m not the only one. And the thing that really sucks is that not only do people not realize this is often a sign of being trans, but they’re also frequently made to feel guilty for feeling that way in the first place… they just worry that they’re “transtrending” or whatever and it makes me so sad because those thoughts are so normal and should not be shamed..

Anyway! that’s not always a perfect way to tell; some people with those thoughts don’t end up identifying as trans, and that’s fine, but i really do think they’re a minority.. And of course these thoughts are not a requirement to being trans/nb either, they’re just a common experience!
