you know i think i get more of my updates on the queendom comeback from you than anywhere else flover anon hdkfgjlkdfg i really havent been checking twitter lately

but YAY fairytale like electro punk . . . thats like. is this considered more red or velvet actually? its more velvet right?

also today was pretty all right i guess! i took an ungodly amount of time to do that wenrene prompt and then the rest of the day was just packing stuff cause schools gonna start for me soon. also i cleaned all my earphones!

okay when i saw your ask about favourite red velvet tracks i was like fuck . . . time to relisten to all their songs again i guess cause i really havent in a while

anyone else thinks astro’s moonbin and sanha subunit copied aseul’s concept, visuals, ig + schedule formats, etc.? even the song sounds similar.

i’ve seen something about it on twitter when the schedule came out i think and i thought it was particularly similar too, especially the logo. many reveluvs weren’t happy about it, i didn’t really care though. fzeihgrhrh

i just went to check the rest of the comeback because i hadn’t seen much after the schedule. the visuals i mean... yes and no? it sure has the same vibes but i mean... it’s just that, in my opinion, just vibes eheh

as for the song, i personally don’t think it’s similar, not really. it’s just heavy bass that we can find in many songs nowadays. if anything, it reminded me of infinite more than of aseul lmao

honestly i don’t think it’s that bad... like i couldn’t care less. the way i see it, it’s pretty far from what aseul did. again it’s just my opinion though! if i look at everything as a whole i can understand where you come from but i also understand that aseul can inspire. to me, monster and the whole comeback was really good so, understandable!

but i think the similarity is not that strong. for the album, schedule and logo, i can admit the resemblance is clear but for the rest, not really. :)

yeah they're not teasers i think they're promotional videos for rv's 7th anniversary and also in preparation for the comeback?? i have no idea. so far i've only seen hints at irene, joy and seulgi being the cat but not yeri and wendy. i might have to watch their videos back lol

i really like irene's vocals in the only but personally that electronic, synth-heavy sound isn't really my thing so it wasn't my cup of tea. irene's voice (especially her lower register) really contributes a lot to rv's vocals as a group so i hope more ppl will realise her skill as a vocalist. it drives me crazy that ppl only recognise her for her visuals when she's clearly a skilled dancer and vocalist 😤 imagine training for several years to be praised only for your face

yeah i think thats right thats what my friend said as well about the videos. i didnt recall seeing any cat hints for wendy and yeri either so hmmm. wonder whats going on about that i guess, but oh well!

and dude about irenes solo thats totally fair, i get what you mean. but ugh yeah her vocal tone is so *nice* i really like her lower register too. the discourse of talent vs visuals is always gonna be a thing im sure, but hopefully with stuff like aseuls subunit her vocals will get more opportunities to be noticed i guess.

omg yeah their two hour vlive, i woke up to so much yelling and chaos on twitter and from the glimpses i saw it sounds like it was a blast? i cant wait to watch it when subtitles come out, the translations i already saw were so funny ahaha
