oh lord

1. when in certain circumstances, I can be the bubbliest girl you'll ever meet, but that's a façade that takes a lot of effort from my part so it's not really me but then again, it is me. just not all the time.

2. I am actually embarrassingly and almost unhealthily addicted to the TV show Sherlock if you hadn't noticed. damn you Tumblr. I never thought I'd say that.

3. I hate mosquitoes. I've been bitten by them so many times and EVERYTHING ITCHES UGH.

4. letting you read my stories and stuff is like a really big fucking deal for me, okay, so act really casually like I'm not handing you my biggest insecurity and concurrently most prized asset thingy.

5. I hate it when people just assume things about me, especially if they're not particularly close to me. (even if they're right.)

herp-a-derp

1. I just broke a nail and it was an emotional experience because my other nails are still long as hell :c

2. I am addicted to tea.

3. Twilight, I hate. The fanfiction, I still read.

4. I'm quite insecure about myself, especially my body and whether or not I'm liked by others, whereas people generally think that I don't give a fuck.

5. I'd like to think that my self-worth doesn't have anything to do with my intelligence, that my intelligence doesn't have anything to do with grades, that my self-worth isn't linked to any prestations of mine, period, but I still feel shitty after everything I do wrong.

6. I've only ever scored one insufficient mark in my school career. For the past almost three years, I've been considered "the smartest" by just about all of the students. Still, I don't feel like I'm the smartest at all. I feel dumb and lazy and I never feel like what I do is enough. (For instance, I feel like I should be studying history and physics and French and economics right now.)

7. I still link skinny with beautiful and weight gain with failure.

8. On a more positive note, I want to learn Russian. (And German. And French. And Japanese. And an African language.)

9. I want to get my own novel published someday, and right now I'm working really hard on my "manuscript". (Constantly feel like it's not good enough, but I'll get there one day.)

10. I'm proud to be Dutch ad grateful for the country's advantages and relatively strong economy, but I still want to live abroad, preferably England, America or Australia (as I speak the local language hehe).
