Ok but how many death note characters actually murderered somebody in canon? I haven't actually thought about this before but

-Light obviously has the highest body count and not just in the serial dating sense

-Misa

-Mikami

-Kiyomi

-Higuchi

-Mello (never onscreen, but apparently he murdered people to get where he is in the mafia and orchestrates several murders in canon and such)

-Beyond Birthday

Is that it? Not counting the shinigami... also, what do we think about L using a death row criminal as Kira bait 🤔 maybe not actually a murderer, but morally in my books he's still on thin fucking ice
