Did you have any thoughts on how Twst just broke the pattern of only using 2D content as bases for story, events, and characters? That opens up a whole new selection of Disney movies now that it aren’t actually confined to just referencing 2D.

Eh not really? At first when I was thinking of crack ideas I did consider Nightmare Before Christmas a bit far fetched because of that, but since it's technically a claymation movie and not traditional 3d I'm not as surprised. I'd be more shocked if we saw something like say, Pirates of the Caribbean or one of the Pixar movies. I don't know how influential the movie is in Japan but Nightmare before Christmas was a huge deal when I was a kid growing up, on the same level as all of the movies Twisted Wonderland has already used for events if not more.

I think the idea with twst is to reach for the more "classic" properties so if we did see a 3d event I'd expect something based on something like Toy Story before say Big Hero 6. There's a bunch of 2d movies they haven't worked their way through yet either like Treasure Planet, Atlantis, the Black Culdron, Peter Pan, the Great Mouse Detective, and they could always go back to the Haunted Mansion too. Nightmare Before Christmas is just a stupid obvious choice for a Halloween event, 3d or not, and it has a lot of options for costumes that aren't as present in say a Peter Pan themed event.

That was a lot of nothing but uh TL:DR I'm not super surprised this event is happening nor do I think it means much for twst using 3d movies for events. I could always be wrong though so we shall see.
