@ todd howard, oblivion remaster when?
#as much as i love skyrim- and i mean that whole heartedly; ive spent over 2500 hours playing it probably- i think i like oblivion more#but its just SOOOOOO hard to go back to its with how nasty the graphics are going back to it after 15 years#+ my xbox 360 i think finally gave up the ghost a couple years ago and i dont wanna get one + its a pain to switch consoles w my setup#on the one hand i think its just my nostalgia that makes me prefer oblivion but on the other the music IS homier and i do think i like the -#world at large better#like the designs and the geography and the dungeons(like ayleid ruins)#like cheydinhal??? one of my fave video game towns. beautiful#and uhhhhhhh whats that one port town#with i think the fighter's guild head office? and the lady who keeps pet rats#right by the very pretty golden fields#that nord/very far north city is great too#.... man i almost think i prefer the cities at large in oblivion to skyrim? markarth is really the only stand out 'love this city more than#- oblivion cities'#and riften is good too but#unpopular opinion but i love windhelm#i just dont love it more than any oblivion city#but im really into the tavern there(esp the outside) and how cramped the gray quarter is and the path up from the docks#it definitely would have benefited from like. doing more to combat bethesdas 'this should be an enormous city but its actually like 10 -#-buildings max' problem#which like yeah i understand youre working with a limited amount of space/data or w/e but#i think thats one of the reasons i prefer oblivion???? obli cities just generally FEEL more rich/lived in/populated IMO#i mean i guess i could probably find enough mods to make it prettier and stuff but#i dont want to shell out for the computer to handle that#and i just prefer the distance between me and the tv
