Ok I think I've widdled it down to either a Dwarven Lord of Fortune or a Qunari Shadow Dragon for my Rook. Though Dwarven Veiljumper also intrigues me
#i dont have a solid qunari character yet so it feels due but also hnnng dwarves#something about a dwarf whos facinated by the fade but has no way to access it normally somehow learning to be a veiljumper#but lord of fortune sounds like a really fun alternative to carta life that a dwarf could find themselves in#as for the qunari im thinking they went tal vashoth after feeling incredibly stifled by the qun#they cast aside their role and name (and gender) and seek freedom only to fknd so many others unable to live freely#absolute personal freedom would be their whole guiding principle and it could be fun to see how that singular drive gets them into trouble
