Okay I have a question for you, mama -
What is Kurono's comfort food that is either made by you or he makes himself. Besides obviously curry lol and if it's soup, what kind of soup??
god the way I know Kurono has heated opinions about god damn soup, fucking virgo man istg
is it comfort food though if you have to make it yourself? Duh this man doesn't have to cook after we're together, it was part of our deal after all 🙄 fucking housewife to another teacher istg it's my destiny
It's not that his comfort food is anything spectacular but more of how its prepared. He loves overly sweet curry, like the way little kids eat it sweet. With the addition of having everything cut super tiny. We're talking so small they fit on a spoon (tiny pieces of carrots, potatoes, meat etc) And he loves it when I cook it just to the tipping point before the vegetables loose their shape. So they squish in his mouth when he presses them against the roof of his mouth but maintain their shape when dished up. Kurono really gets excited when I master the perfection of basically overcooked vegetables two seconds before they turn into a slushy mush slurry. (Plus makes getting the kids to eat things much easier when its not all mushed together and they can at least tell its a carrot or a pea or whatever 🙄)
This man can in fact live on soup and it's disgusting. Same thing applies to soup though with tiny pieces of everything. He wants a little bit of everything on his spoon but doesn't like big soup spoons. Kurono uses a teaspoon so it doesn't clank against his teeth when he eats 😐Nothings wrong with his teeth he's just this way istg. But he's not partial to any specific soup. Broths, milk based, chowders, cheesey, meaty or all vegetables he basically consumes soup like its life giving blood (so you know he's real sick when he's not even interested in soup)
But in terms of his weird specific comfort food only I make, it has to be.....overcooked shrimp flavored ramen. (Soy sauce is second best)
There's a specific way I make it too (these are like the 99 cent kind) It takes three packages of ramen. Two flavor packs go into the water that boils the three bricks of noodles. They cook far too long for my liking. All the water gets drained and the third final spice packet gets sprinkled on the overcooked noodles. So it's now overly thick and starchy and shrimpy. This is this man's comfort food for the 10+ years we're together
