it's the way zane was like 'hey this could solve your problems with cleo' as if that's not the grossest thing he could say and something zane of midway through season two would never say

naur because 2x15 'irresistible' is honestly not even canon to me as an episode. why would zane of all people desire a potion that would make rikki fall at his feet and hang on his every word. my guy had a version of that with miriam and HATED it, as soon as the girl who had been making snide, sarcastic comments in his general direction for months became available as a romantic prospect he basically fell for her on the spot. rikki is loud and brash and picks fights over the slightest provocation, and zane adores her for it. if it is to be said so it be

#as a shenanigans lover i don't have a problem really with the conceit of the episode #but the prev notes is a perfect example of how this could've gone much better >>>#if the ambergris plotline HAD to be a thing then maybe lewis could have stumbled upon it antiquing and decided not to buy it #then charlotte buys it for him as a present but leaves the premises as soon as she smells it. lewis goes to cool her off and leaves it on #the table outside the juicenet for nate to find it. that's literally all they had to do. jonathan shiff i will take my payment in cash #but like can't you see charlotte and lewis going antiquing together. take my hand do you SEE the vision #<<< yes i can and yes i do!#and just real quick tangent and this is just because i feel like every line is supposed to be a dig at charlotte #but when zane is like 'i'm thinking about using this on rikki even though our relationship is fine right now' 'you should use this on cleo'#and lewis just kinda half-ass goes 'i'm with charlotte now'#and zane just kinda gives him a 'really?' look #and it's all just soooooo gross #zane of season three might do this but season 2 zane would punch him in the face for it #h2o just add water
