ok this might be a me thing but did anyone else (especially older sisters) just like. adopt kids?? like when i was younger i didnt make friends i made siblings

5th grade me would just have 3-7 (depending on the day) kids- ALL 2-6 years younger than me- follow me around and their parents were all like "oh yeah thats -- theyre cool"

even now theres these kids who i see maybe once or twice a month who are INSISTANT that im their older sister. the younger (3 yrs old) doesn't remember my name half the time and just calls me sister 😭😭
