an arched eyebrow rises at the outburst , falling in line with the other just as quickly when the elder woman turns toward her . ever since being informed of her empress' theory , arushi had been particularly watchful the other when she can manage it , picking apart and analyzing her mannerisms . the hope had been to find evidence , but thus far , arushi had come up short . " impressive , " she says in her typical cadence , though that single word is injected with even more saccharine tones than usual . still calm , however , maintaining a refined bearing . " the empress smiled as she leaned up from her slanted position over her stick ; a hand moving to her hip to admire the way she knocked her opponents ball . shanti swallowed after that ... un-characteristically excited outburst — calming herself into a mere friendly smile . she then handed over her mallet to an awaiting servant , stepping back to admire her work . " you think you can outperform ? "

arushi's  leg  bounces  once  ,  twice  ,  three  times  ,  as  she  pieces  together  a  reply  .  "  '  wing  it  ,  '  huh  …  ?  "  she  murmurs  ,  mostly  to  herself  ,  attention  diverting back  to  the  business  email  on  her  screen .  she  isn't  sure  what  kind  of  advice  she'd  been  looking  for  ,  exactly , but  the  response  still  rings  lackluster  to  arushi's  ear  .  perhaps it would have regardless . but  she  asked  ,  and  got  her  answer  .  "  guess  there's  no  harm  in  trying  that  out  .  "  she  concludes  with  a  shrug  ,  fiddling  with  one  of  her  rings  .

" well , being natural doesn't come easy for everybody . however . . . if i were to give you any advice , i'd personally read it only a few times out loud . then when you get to set , sort of . . . wing it .
