Did you know? If you'd like to support .flow creator lol, they have two name-your-own-price games available on itch.io:
Milya[broken] and AruMa KeteRa
So, if you've ever wanted to give lol a tip as thanks or check out some of their other games, here's where to go! 🧡
Content Warning: These games may have: flashing/glitching images, blood & gore, sexual themes, body horror, and other surreal/horror elements. Also, trypophobia & teeth (Milya[broken]) and spiders (AruMa KeteRa).
I haven't fully played them so I'm not entirely sure--take this as a general precaution!

that "sequel" game has had a name for a while on a post of his which detailed his future game plans (revealing at least one more game in the aruma ketera setting, a series of games named after Shinsouku Neko, and the game he is currently working on : sugar float, the very "sequel". If you've already been told about this, then sorry for busting in unannounced
So I messaged lolrust on their marshmallow-qa and asked if .flow was ever going to get updated again because I've been wondering.
( For reference I used google translate to ask in Japanese as simply as I could. I tried asking in English before and didn't get a reply. This picture shows the auto-translated text version.)
So! It looks like current .flow is probably done with? But there's a chance of some kind of relevant sequel! And though of course i'd love a v2.0 for .flow, it seems lolrust might have moved on from it at this point. (The game is over a decade old after all.) So the thought of still possibly getting any kind of new official .flow content sometime is nice. We do have to wait and see if it ever happens though. Link to twitter post version here: Link Thought I'd share to whoever else might appreciate this knowledge.

Did you know? From 2020-2022, .flow creator lol did a complete playthrough of .flow with commentary on Youtube. (On the channel, lol plays games as a Vtuber called Mimimi-chan--the protagonist from lol's other game, AruMa KeteRa.)
It's filled with little bits of trivia and it's fun to hear lol's reactions to everything in the game, too. (Of course, don't expect concrete answers on the deeper mysterious of .flow!)
Even if you don't fully understand Japanese, I think it's worth taking a look at. You can check the comments section for English translations provided by fans on some of the videos as well!
Here's the first video:
youtube
There are 12 videos in the playthrough, plus an extra video of lol playing .flow on Yume Nikki Online in February 2024 to celebrate .flow's 15th anniversary. 🥳

The YNO video is especially hilarious because lol acts like they've never played or even heard of .flow before, it's very silly.
Check it out~! 🧡
