‘Gadar’ I am going to take no credit for this gorgeous #Dhoknasaree made by the tribes of North Bengal. Elaborately designed with kalika patterns in contrasting coloured base with supplementary wefts and wraps helps keep alive a wearing technique that has been honed over generations. The weavers have translated poetry into a saree! They are softer than a sponge cake and I particularly love the gorgeous woven patterns. Teamed here with the pre-stitched threadwork ‘Gampuri’ Blouse.
