Summary: 

On a trip to the Bunker, Claire Novak swerves off the interstate one night. A simple investigation concerning plagues in Pontiac, Illinois quickly reveals things are not what they seem. Cas is hiding something, (what is going on with him and Dean?), Jack is keeping a secret, and there’s an impending threat from a mysterious deity called The Empty that might kill her and Cas, both.

Claire must decide what family truly means and come to terms with her past that was irrevocably changed. Racing against the clock, she must choose who is worth saving, worth loving, and learn what it really means to lose everything.
