Most members of the canaries are criminals that used ancinet magic with a couple of nobles that is in charge of a couple of crimals per person. And I thought I share what each members crime is and reason for it, starting with Captian Mithruns teamates. Some invole some smaller spoilers to the main series. All information is from the Delicious in Dungeon World Guide: The Adventurer's Bible

Lycion: He used ancinet magic on his own body to be able to transform into a artifcial beast-man. He did not like his natrual body looked like and enjoyed how he looked as a beast-man making him to fight in arenas to show of his bew cool body. (Sentence: life time)

Fleki: She owned and sold ancinet magic artiffact for money. She only got into it for the money did not have much care for the magic itself. (she also a drug addict so proably sold the magic to continue her addiction. but proably dot have any part in her sentence.) (sentence: 240 years)

Cithis ofri: She was a fortune teller and used illision magic to hypostise other specily non magic user into commiting murder, fraud and forging ducument. It stated she had a intense jealousy of the noble and welthy sothose was most likey the target for her hypotise and crime against. (sentence: life time)

Otta: sold and used ancinet magic artiffact and was a merchend of all sort of things like ancinet relics, moster and also was part of part of human trafficing mostly of half foots. (sentence 100 years)

her eyebrow arches. 'even the smallest bit of description?' they must have a strange relationship, edna concludes. she is curious, but that's none of her business, what kinds of friends he has. he's made it pretty clear that she isn't allowed to know a lot of things about him anymore, and she wonders when this distance will ever close.

❛ that's more like it,  ❜ she remarks instead, even providing a nod for her indulgement. for a witch, magilou does not really act like one—but then again, edna's never met a real witch before. she has too much flair and cheekiness, and that is already pretty odd. how can someone remain so... chipper? edna cannot invoke the same emotions as her; cannot show the same emotions either. her face is always flat and her voice always monotone and her heart is steeled: this is how she learns to stay strong. she doesn't like being weak-willed. after all, eizen raised her. ❛ though, it would do you good to tone it down. wouldn't want people staring at you for talking to the 'air,' do you?  ❜

she snorts, feeling fond. it does seem like her brother's thing to be grumpy towards someone with a lot of cheek like magilou, she supposes. but to edna, he will always be that same geek who nerds out on random artiffacts and takes care of her. 

unconvinced, she stares at the way magilou's eyes start darting everywhere. ❛ a 'lull period?'  ❜ she echoes, dully. ❛ and 'recon,' you say?  ❜ are drama queens normally bad at hiding things? things cannot be that easy. if her so-called words are truthful, then edna is inclined to not believe it. if magilou is still with her brother's group of companions, that means there's a chance eizen is around—and knowing him, he would never set foot anywhere near rayfalke. ( or her. ) this just seems so improbable and impossible, and even cruel to edna. she ignores the sting in her heart as she turns to face magilou more. ❛ for what reason is there that requires both of those? normally, it'd make sense to do recon if you have something to do, but can't figure out how to. i'm not going to bother asking what you guys are up to, but i do think your claims are not quite bright.  ❜  

❛ and since you seem aware of what earth pulses are, i'm inclined to think you guys are not just on some simple journey traveling the world to see the sights.  ❜ her heart wavers for a moment, wanting to cling onto that very small sliver of hope that maybe her brother is around here somewhere—maybe the next town over, or even the plains to the south, or just... anywhere closeby—but edna keeps it inside. it was his choice to leave home, so she has to respect that. she still chooses to wait. this is why she narrows her eyes and says, ❛ so tell me, book skirt, why are you interested in an earth pulse?  ❜

" I'D figured he'd bee vague at best when talking about me so i'll take even the smallest bit of description. " in all truth she would have expected him to refer to her as annoying or some kind of nuisance so for his sister to know her by description alone warmed her heart all the more. who knew a heart broken beyond repair could feel such a tender feeling? certainly there were endless surprises magilou would discover thanks to those she accompanied across the map. chalk it up to the reaper of all people to make her feel warm and tender inside that was the most unexpected. if anyone would make her feel warm and tender she would have assumed it would be eleanor or laphicet if anything. heck, velvet could be soft at times and she was miss dark edgey lord of calamity. crazy stuff indeed.

" oh, my most sincerest of apologies the lovely and graceful little sister! how could i be so daft as to call you by the wrong descriptors? tsk tsk! that certainly won't do! " ever the one to play up even the slightest of slip-ups. it was better to poke fun at her mistakes than wallow in them after all. if she allowed even for a second of wallowing it may lead to yet another scar in her soul. though her inner turmoil was not something she opened up about to anyone. to most she was a comedian and performer of many things with an edge of comedy to everything she said and did. there was no way she would let anyone see her weaker moments. it would always be a blunder to curse at if she dare slipped up like that.

" hm . . . i guess you're right on that . . . " though eizen was still someone the witch would describe to be grumpy. at least he was one to put on a grumpy air in front of her. perhaps it was the way she played fool around him that would make a near permanent scowl seem to appear every time they spoke to one another. though she had to admit he could be quite the adorable cursed reaper when talking with laphicet and rokurou about things like that beetle laphicet held onto. truly a big brother at heart.

and there it was. edna turning the subject onto why the witch was here rather than with the party. an awkward gulp made its way from the witch as she let out an equally awkward laugh. oh where was velvet when she needed a distraction? why couldn't she be here to coo-coo like a dove? really the worst of predicaments. not even bienfu was here to take the fall. darn her and not thinking this far ahead. magilou was curious and she just had to follow where it lead her.

" you see about that . . . " the witch began, her gaze looking everywhere but at the malak she was speaking to. just what could she say to get herself out of this without admitting to trailing a lead she'd come across that brought her here? darn it! " the party was having a lull period and we all chose this time to take recon in different areas-- " oh how she wishes this malak was taking the bait " --and i chose this port city because a little bird told me there was some earthly air about here. maybe an earth pulse. y-yeah! that! "

She looked up, eyes bloodshot, she had lost everything because of a gang, taking every little thing she had but one thing she had kept safe was her key to her hidden chests, the ghost key, a ledgandary artiffact that can open anything and everything, it even says it can open portals to other worlds.

the key is safely tucked under her shirt. she turned to you. “I’m not. The yakama took my home, my everything.. even my lover, and she- she was my heart.” she spoke. she knew that murder was planned. she feels as if her Heart had been stolen, and now the hollow cavity as if it was a treasure to be taken from the world.

She softly looked at him. “She built me.- and- she loved me.. but.. humans, as much as i dispise them, they have meotions too. But how can they understand that Heart and Mercy is two of the greatest things to ever encounter, i wasn’t ment for this place!” she spat and snapped at what they had done to her..

“They are looking to find out how to make more of me.” she said as she’s basically hooked up to the mainframe. her pulse is being monitored. medics and mechanics are on stand by.

“I hate this room.” she said. parts of her are off and tools are there to check her inner workings. “They don’t know anything about me.. all they want to know is.. who she was.. and how did she manage to create life that was so Human.”

A human sits at her desk as she was recently hired by the crew, she seems lonely, almost as if she's been letting go of everything lately, she's a mess as she hides her face in her arms. soft shakes and hidden words seem to plauge her. //storymode: adventure

~ Deckerd's Headlights Twitched Slightly as he Entered the room. He Hadn't formally Introduced himself to the latest Member of the crew Since he was Busy with a Case Lately. But when he finally had found her.. She seemed Sad. Oh No.. Did Something Happen To her? Maybe he will be able to cheer her up a bit.

He Walked over to her desk and Gently gave a subtle Knock Ontop of it to get her attention. He Tilted his helm Slightly before speaking up in a Kind and Calm Manner, Trying not to startle the Sad Crewmember. ~

Download - Microscopic [EP] (1995) Remix EP that followed the debut LP Furnace from the brilliant post-Skinny Puppy project. At the time, Download consisted of SP's cEvin Key and Dwayne Goettel (RIP), Phil Western (aka Philth), Mark Spibey of (Dead Voices On Air), and vocal contributions from the almighty Genesis P. Orridge. Furnace, Microscopic EP, Sidewinder EP, and The Eyes of Stanley Pain are absolutely brilliant examples of electro/post-industrial and, if memory serves, "destroyed techno" as once described by Dwayne Goettel. Storming the Base and Artiffact records issued this on vinyl for the first time a few years ago, in limited lime green, red, and standard black vinyl with a D-side etching. The original CD had a lenticular cover/case and they did a good job reproducing the effect here. They also issued on vinyl for the first time this year the Sidewinder EP, The Eyes of Stanley Pain, III, and Effector LPs. I'm hoping someone will press Furnace on vinyl one of these days. I just can't stress how brilliant this shit is. 🙌🏼

If you look around my house, my closet, my storage, I AM VINTAGE. It was almost serendipitous to get this random characteristic in Room 10 “Just Be” at @29rooms, because that very night, in between the infinite things I set out to do, I decided to set up some of my vintage finds at The People party. I immediately took this mantra and slayed my set up that night, meeting new people to ride my vibe. I find joy in finding treasures, aka #artiffacts, and I’m even more happy when someone finds joy in something I dug up from the past to incorporate into their present.
