I think almost all of the environmental case against AI is factually incorrect fear mongering, or "misinformation"
#thank you for going through the hassle of pointing this out#considering who OP is though it makes sense they're pretty bad for smugly being incorrect on issues they think most don't get#I mean even a casual glance at that screenshot had a whole bunch of alarm bells going off - but I realise that's because I'm a fair bit mor#technically minded than is average - I'm not computer a scientist but I know enough to smell the heady whiff of bullshit wafting from that#article - remember to always check for biases etc - esp on substack#And that's without even going into things like scale and the fact that we're redirecting existing energy output into the mediocrity machine
