I hope Friday is not over yet!!
I want to share my three Vestiges! They are from different alliances and at first were cautious of each other (obv because they were enemies and now had to work together - they met during the attack on Coldharbour) but then they became closer and sometimes adventure together until they forgot their alliances are still at war
All of them are soulless, all of them were killed but the one who does all the main quest is the khajiit, so he escapes with the Prophet and others found other ways to escape
The khajiit's name is Ja'advik. He is cheerful guy that usually does good things but still will do dubious stuff. He is proud of his heritage, so you'll always see Elsweyr fashion on him. He was scared at first when he was doing all the Dominion stuff because the attention was new to him but then he was okay with this. Well, he still had that criminal side of his, just he had to be much more sneakier than usual. You wouldn't catch him in the criminal act, because he carefully dresses when going out doing criminal things. Oh, he wields a bow and even though he is not very magically gifted, he can summon cold winds. Was captured by Worm Cult on a ship, like in the game
The breton Florianne Gauthier. She was just a commoner girl who wanted to see the world and learn every skill she wanted. And because she couldn't do complex magic her first step was becoming a vampire. Well it was a rough time getting used to living like a vampire and not succumbing to the urges but she manages. She is also sticking to the shadows. But usually she is good too, doesn't do criminal stuff on purpose. She can do magic but not complex spells, so she relies on the sword (I WISH ESO HAD ONE HANDED SWORD SKILLS) more. Her soul already belongs to Molag Bal (bc of vampirism) but when she was jumped and killed by the Worm Cult, somehow she returned normally in the Coldharbour and then managed to escape
The dunmer is Davros Arthenni, at first egotistical mage who always boasted about his knowledge of arcane crafts and dwemer mechanisms. But with time he became less of a prick. This is his character arc. He still thinks he is a magical genius. He actually joined the Pact willingly bit then he was sneakily killed in Cyrodil and then he was at Coldharbour (this is based on my first experience in this zone because Davros is my first ESO character ever)
OOHHHH they're so neat i love them!! also rly awesome outfit & character designs, love em. always love hearing about yalls vestiges

Time: Evening Date: July 20th Location: Itresia, the Masyarakat Ball Persona: None Status: Closed, @arthenni-s
Through her travels, Zanni had often landed herself in a series of unsavoury jobs. The nature of these jobs never mattered, all that mattered was the thrill of being used. Through the grapevine a name was repeated time and time again: The Secret Keeper.
Stood out on the balcony, Zanni can feel the vibrations of the music playing within the ballroom. There’s a scattering of people outside, keeping to their own private conversations, the odd person needing air from an excess of alcohol. Hopefully this meeting wouldn’t look too suspicious. Hell, she didn’t even know if this meeting was happening, all she could hope for was that her message had reached this all knowing stranger.
Maybe this would be a waste of time. Coming to this damned ball was already dredging up memories; of serving for such an occasion, reciting a chorus of ‘yes sir’’s and ‘will that be all?’’s. Unseen unless necessary. But now the remnants of that life loomed over her, threatening to ensnare her at any moment.
Which is why she chanced this meeting in the first place.
Every now and then, a door leading out would open, drawing Zanni’s attention. Nothing so far. A breeze dances through her hair, the cold nipping at her. An idle hand reaches to her back, only to retreat in disappointment as her blades are absent. Defenceless, Zanni remains on the balcony, watching and waiting.

Time: Late afternoon, June 20th
Place: Khaggon
Status: Closed, @thalrahylune
“Hi, Thalra. Sorry for interrupting. Do you have time to meet up? I’d like to chat. I’m in Khaggon right now. Have questions about Crayhorns.”
As Arthenni cast Sending from a tucked away alley in Khaggon, Thalra would hear the familiar voice in her head. The drow was often the first person to pop into Arthenni’s mind when it came to finding leads, especially in regards to getting tea on other people. She was grateful to have such a connection. Or, no, such a friend. Was it presumptuous to call her a friend...? No, it felt like the right word. Nice. She had a friend.

Time: Late evening, 20th July
Location: The Masyarakat Ball, Itresa Castle, Eowesoa
Status: @arthenni-s, @thejaderaven
If Thalra listened hard enough through the silence that permeated the room, she could hear the sound of laughter and music wind it's way up the stairs and under the crack in the door to the bedroom she and Arthenni were currently occupying. Thalra stood just behind the door so that if it opened, the person who entered wouldn’t see her at first glance. It was a deliberate choice, because if the person Arthenni said would be coming arrived and saw that Arthenni wasn’t alone, she’d be instantly suspicious and might try to run. Thalra didn’t want her to run, she wanted answers. And also, it would just be nice to see The Jade Raven again.
“Are you sure she’s even at this event?” Thalra asked Arthenni, her voice hushed. It had been hard enough ditching Nil to meet up with Arthenni but they’d also had to be incredibly careful getting up here, as security was on high alert. “Even if she is here, maybe she can’t get past the guards to this room. Maybe we should switch locations.” Thalra wasn’t sure why she was nervous, except that it felt strangely like an ambush to be waiting in this room for her mysterious Raven. It also felt as if she was going to learn more about the woman she’d been so curious about for so long, and that she might not like the answers she finally got.

Location: Destiny’s Archive, Siang Institute, Arx Date: February 6th Time: Late morning, chaos erupting Status: OPEN
The morning had been a blur. The city of Arx had abruptly awoken to the sound of alarms. Panicked activity filled the streets. News and rumors spread across the populace like a wave, some true, some not so true. It was hard to decide what to believe in all the chaos, but one fact seemed to hold steady in it all - ships were nearly here. Attacks were already being aimed at the port. It was time to find where you needed to be, and find it fast.
Arthenni had immediately rushed to the Institute. They weren’t completely unprepared. Since the war had started, the Institute had established a plan for what to do if the violence reached the city walls. It essentially consisted of: get people in for as long as safely possible, lock down the campus, get important materials to the safety of underground storage. That last part was especially relevant to the library. War was known for destroying places of knowledge, erasing tomes from civilization entirely, and that had to be mitigated as much as possible.
Some of the staff were working on getting the most important books and records out to safety, sending the library into a flurry of organized activity. Arthenni had done her fair share of packing things up and down the stairs earlier, when the ships were farther on the horizon. No doubt she would be sore once the adrenaline faded. For now, as the attacks descended and people became more frantic, she was focusing on getting people inside. These books were important, yes. Like hell the invaders were touching their books. But people were important too. She stood near the library doors, directing people who were looking for refuge. Some went into the library, some were heading to the temple to be closer to the presence of Istus, and some were going elsewhere. Regardless of where they went, they just needed to get somewhere.
“Hurry! Shelter inside! There are doors connected to the main building in the back of the library that will take you further in! People will be there to direct you!” Arthenni called out, just trying to get people behind some walls.

Archaeological evidence of mass extinctions Planetary biographies below the cut
Aphras is a “heavenly twin,” a planet in a star system that has not one but two worlds of sufficient mass to retain a nitrogen-oxygen atmosphere within the habitable life zone of its parent star. Fossil evidence shows abundant vertebrates and evidence of a sapient terrestrial avian species in its Bronze Age.
However, the only trace of contemporary life on the planet is that of single-celled organisms in its seas. All else has suffered from an extinction event – a series of massive impacts that vaporized vast quantities of water and lofted dust into its atmosphere. Early theories that this event was a collision with a fragmenting asteroid have now been discounted – the impact craters were aimed directly at habitation centers. (see: Tosal Nym)
Atahil is only of note for a few scattered craters. Though flattened by millions of years of high pressure, the marks of orbital bombardment strikes are unmistakable. It is generally accepted among academics that whoever hailed from or settled Schwarzschild’s second planet, Etamis, must have had outposts on Atahil as well.
Bothros is home to a scientific curiosity. Evidence of a primate-like spacefaring civilization was found frozen in its equatorial ice, ranging from melted fragments of metal to preserved remains of the creatures still wearing suits for extra-vehicular activity. Further exploration revealed that their habitation centers were vaporized by orbital bombardments from railgun-like weapons hitting with a force of approximately 120 kilotons of TNT. Only those that fled or happened to be away from the habitats were preserved in the ice, where they died of asphyxiation.
This unknown species did not come from Asteria, but scientific teams are looking for evidence that they visited there. It is difficult to believe they would colonize a frozen rock like Bothros and ignore a lush garden world. Their world of origin is also a mystery.
Epho is a rocky world with an atmosphere of oxygen and carbon dioxide. There are large craters scattered across its surface, obviously from hypervelocity kinetic impactors. Stretching between these locations are the shattered remains of magnetic levitation rail lines, which strongly suggests the craters represent the former locations of arthenni mining outposts or other settlements. The equatorial region contains an extensive network of canyons, formed by the planet’s abundant liquid water. (see: Gaelon, Helyme)
Etamis is a superterrestrial world a third larger than Earth. It is in a “post-garden” state that clearly shows evidence of attack from space. While now waterless, the shores of former oceans show patterns of cratering too regular to be anything but saturation bombardment by dreadnought-class kinetic weapons. Although it is unclear how, most of the atmosphere has been lost.
Archeologists have found little of note. It appears that all settled regions were touched by the global bombardment. The few relics found suggest an advanced spacefaring culture thrived on the world somewhere between from 20 and 40 million years ago. The level of antiquity makes it impossible to estimate the world’s former population, or guess whether it was the race’s homeworld or a colony.
Helyme is a “post-garden” world that once enjoyed an Earth-like oxygen-nitrogen atmosphere. It is still blessed with plentiful water, but a generally cold climate (and extreme seasonal shifts, courtesy of a 38-degree axial tilt).
Helyme is thought to be the homeworld of the arthenn, a spacefaring species which disappeared approximately 300,000 years ago. Precisely what happened to Helyme is still under debate. It appears a global extinction occurred, wiping out all native animal life forms more complex than zooplankton. Plant forms were not affected, but the lack of oxygen-breathing life caused oxygenation of the atmosphere. Plant life was reduced after lightning storms ignited global wildfires.
The leading theory for Helyme’s devastation is an out-of-control biological weapon. For this reason, landing is strictly prohibited. The corporations of Illium have emplaced a network of quarantine satellites to dissuade would-be looters from landing in the crumbling cities. (see: Epho, Gaelon)
Joab is a two-mooned habitable planet that is most well known for its mass extinction event. Thousands of years ago, Joab was home to a primate-like spacefaring civilization as well as abundant flora and fauna. However, this can only be deduced from time capsules put into the ground well outside habitation centers – all cities and detectable dwellings were targeted in a massive orbital bombardment that turned them into vapor. The resulting dust shroud killed all photosynthetic life and all fauna dependent on it. (see: Laban, Mizraim)
Klendagon’s most striking feature is, of course, the Great Rift valley that stretches across the southern hemisphere. What is most fascinating about the Rift is that it does not appear to be natural. The geological record suggests it is the result of a “glancing blow” by a mass accelerator round of unimaginable destructive power. This occurred some thirty-seven million years ago.
Gaelon is surrounded by an extensive ring system. The inner rings are composed pulverized nano-manufactured carbon materials, thought to be the remains of an arthenni helium-3 mining infrastructure. The few pieces of larger debris found indicate a materials technology at least equal to the current galactic state-of-the-art.
The outer rings consist of water-ice, silicate dust, and the odd bit of rock. Analysis of the debris often show [sic] shock damage and evidence of rapid heating. Some para-historical theorists insist that the outer rings represent debris from a moon or moons destroyed by mass accelerator bombardment. This has been rejected by every reputable xenoarcheologist; while it is theoretically possible to destroy a small moon utterly with dreadnought bombardment, no species sees a compelling reason to do so. (see: Epho, Helyme)
Mizraim, a small gas giant, is primarily hydrogen and methane around a rocky core. There is no remaining trace of the civilization from Joab on Mizraim itself, but debris orbiting the planet indicates that artificial satellites were once in place before being destroyed. (see: Joab, Laban)
Klendagon is an arid terrestrial, slightly larger than Earth, but with a lower density that reflects its relative lack of heavier elements. The crust is composed of tin and aluminum, with wide deserts of dust-fine sand that are easily stirred by the wind.
Laban is a desert world with sea upon sea of scorching hot iron oxide wearing away marbleized cliffs. Its atmosphere is thick and layered with significant levels of oxygen trapped under an upper helium layer. Initially, surveyors detected traces of iridium from orbit, only to find a surprising archaeological discovery - the iridium came from bunkers on the surface that were blown apart by a dreadnought-class weapon. The logical conclusion was that the civilization on Joab had reached Laban and its outposts here were destroyed to make their extermination complete. (see: Joab, Mizraim)
Tosal Nym, [ the sister tragedy to the extinction event on Aphras ], was the rarest of jewels; a second garden planet within the same life zone as Aphras. Not as old as its sister planet, its fossil evidence indicates it was home to abundant invertebrate sea life.
However, similar craters to those on Aphras created a dust shroud that killed 99% of biota on the planet. The even spacing of the craters indicates a coordinated, simultaneous attack from points around the globe, rather than an asteroid collision or supervolcanic scenario. (see: Aphras)
Vecchio is a moderately-sized terrestrial world with a thin, hot atmosphere of carbon dioxide and nitrogen. Initial surveys found trace amounts of iridium, but little else of interest in the silicate desert sands that cover much of the surface of the planet.
On a recent tour, the Alliance surveyor ship Kupe discovered a group of partial graves hidden in the equatorial mountain ranges. The ancient skeletons in the burial sites were obviously humanoid but incomplete and poorly preserved, which has made them difficult to identify. Fragments of primitive ceramic grave goods were also found nearby. This raises further questions about who once traveled to this inhospitable planet since the closest garden world, Volturno, has no intelligent life. Human universities are planning further archaeological investigations.

Time: Early afternoon, 13th of July Location: The Crossroads Status: @arthenni-s
The Crossroads never failed to feel to Thalra like a hastily sewn together quilted blanket. She remembered it’s construction, or more accurately, the way it seemed to spring up and grow like a weed as more and more merchants flocked to such a prosperous location.
Currently, she sat in a tiny tavern at the edge of the town with Arthenni by her side. The sign hanging outside by the door advertised the place as The Sticky Blacksmith, though she didn’t see any blacksmiths around currently. She had disguised herself magically before walking in and now she looked like a nondescript human woman who could easily have counted among the various vendors that made up the city. There was hardly anyone in the tavern though, only them and the barkeep who was paying them little mind. They were there on a tip from The King of Rats, the leader of the Thieves Guild in Myrefall who owed her several favors and who’d caught wind that this was the tavern to go to if you wanted to get information across the border into the other three kingdoms. If the rumors were right and The Crossroads was the next target on the group’s list then they would likely find information on the informant here.
“Alright,” she said, glancing over at Arthenni and pretending to take a sip from her mug of ale. “Take a look around the tavern, what do you see?” Mostly Thalra had no interest in the bounties, but this would be the best way to get Arthenni acclimated the dangers and perks of having a web of information at her disposal.

Day: December 15th Time: Morning Place: Arx, Destiny’s Archive Status: Open
It had been a good awhile since Arthenni Stonecutter had been regularly seen in the general populace. It may even be long enough to stir up concern among those who know her. However, there were a few good reasons for this. Finals season had descended upon the university, which was always a chaotic time in the library. It was like everyone got finals amnesia and forgot how to put their books back properly when they were done with them, if they put them back at all. On top of that, administration was expecting the end-of-the-year inventory on books, which only compounded the irritation of unorganized students descending on their books. She spent much of her time in the back rooms, counting through tomes and jotting their numbers down neatly.
If that hadn’t made her a hermit enough, the release of the fourth book in her favorite romance series took up her spare time. She had to get through it before spoilers got out. On top of that, the drama of Dasratsel had been both riveting and stressful. A mystery, yes, but one that involved a friend of hers. That was enough of a distraction for her to follow, with nights of research and collecting copies of the notices that had been put out by the mysterious stranger for preservation and future study. Arthenni still wasn’t quite over that. After all, it hadn’t been solved.
Then, to put the icing on the cake, one night on her way home, she had gotten robbed. Her bag with her wand, paper, ink, some of her favorite books, some gold - all gone, strong-armed from her by a very intimidating woman. So, that hadn’t put her in a great mood to be out and about. It also pushed her to put in more hours at the library rather than pursue her side-hobby of information, thanks to her need to recoup her losses.
Today, she had found the chance to be back at the front desk of the library, sorting through a pile of returns. A very expected place to find her, but much more public than she had been spending her time in the back rooms. It was good to get a change of scenery. She could sense the commotion of finals starting to calm down, and she could be back among the people again - listening. It was a little early for most to have gotten here yet, though. A calm before the storm that she was taking advantage of.
Arthenni looked up from her work a moment as she heard the door of the library open, signaling a new arrival.

Time: Late afternoon, 25th May, Moonlight Festival Location: Destiny’s Archive, Arx Status: Open
As a resident of the city, Arthenni had the pleasure of watching all of the organized chaos leading up to the hosting of such a grand event. The population steadily increased over the days and weeks leading up to the Moonlight Festival, and it had certainly reached its peak today. It was normally a happening city, but nothing like now. There were so many colors, shapes, sizes, creeds - it was very exciting.
Even the library was changing up their schedule for the event. Normally open at nearly all hours for access by scholars, they were locking up the doors early to give everyone the opportunity to go witness the once-in-a-century event. Arthenni was a bit nervous, how could she not be nervous? So many people...but, she was also excited. Just imagine the amount of talking, the hushed conversations, the drama. All the layers underneath was the true festival.
The gnome woman stepped out of the library, wrapping her brown robes around herself and pulling up the hood. It seemed like a lot of fabric, but it did get chilly at night this close to the sea, and she felt more secure being a little bundled up. In her hands was a journal and a quill, ready to go for note taking, just in case. Her goal was to head for the crowds, to blend in with the festival-goers and just listen, but she found a figure in front of her as she turned around instead.
“Oh! Uhm, sorry. The library is closed now for the festival...we’ll be open tomorrow.”

Location: Arx Date: February 21st Time: Dusk Status: Self-para/Open
The word had gone out - the ships were gone. Hegaehend had wrestled the port back from enemy control. It was safe to come out.
Arthenni wasn’t sure she wanted to. The past weeks had been harrowing. There had been many nights huddled in the lowest floors of the university, together with others who had taken refuge behind the walls of the Institute, listening to the shouts and fighting just outside the doors. The Institute hadn’t gone entirely unscathed. Fights had erupted on campus as much as anywhere else in the city. Windows shattered, walls burned. Lots to clean-up. But, the library was generally safe, and so were the people, as far as Arthenni knew.
She didn’t know what would be waiting for her. She expected damage, sure, but the extent of it all shocked her. The gates of the Institute re-opened to the streets of Arx for the first time since the fighting began, and destruction lay beyond. Pieces of homes and lives lay scattered across the streets. Piles still smoldered and smoked. Arthenni had never seen anything like it.
She made her way through the streets, carefully avoiding the debris that lay across the cobblestones. She had only one destination in mind.
Down the street for two blocks. Turn left. Down this street until the crossroads. Turn right. Down until the bakery sign - she froze. There was supposed to be a bakery sign. There was no bakery sign.
There was nothing. Only evidence of fires and pillaging. Ash would occasionally drift away in the breeze, blowing along small blackened pieces of fabric, pieces of paper, pieces of life. No. No no no.
She rushed past the old bakery, to where the small alley that ran beside of it was supposed to be. It was scarred, smoldering, ruined.
It was gone. Her front door. Her lovingly cluttered hoard of books. Spellbooks, research, notes, belongings, her plants, her bed - gone.
Her home was nothing but ash.

Time: Noon, June 20th, day of The Address
Location: Khaggon
Status: Closed, @thejaderaven
Arthenni had started to see the effects of the war come in through Khaggon’s front door over the past few weeks. People from Llyn had come to take shelter, and she had heard many firsthand accounts of what had happened. It made everything feel a little more real, when the outside world was so blocked off by the stone walls around them.
Arthenni had been busy gathering up every little nugget of information and hearsay that she could come across. Some of it was exaggerations, rumors, less than true, but there was a lot of truth out there. And today she had set up a promising meeting. A meeting with one of the king’s men himself. What did he say he was, a bodyguard, a messenger? Maybe a little bit of both. Regardless, he was but a few steps removed from the king himself, and Arthenni was beside herself about it.
The crowds were closing in on where the council would be making their official address today. Arthenni had scheduled the meeting during this time, in a secluded location away from where the address would be held. Much less attention on them that way. She’d hear what the address had been about later, no doubt.
Arthenni had made sure to change before she had gotten too close to the meeting spot. Disguise Self was up, and she had completely changed herself to look like a pale red-head with one more foot of height. She had on a large black cloak that covered the majority of her form and anything underneath it. With the hood up, you could barely discern anything.
She kept to the far side of the plaza, staying as discreet as she could manage as she found the door to the meeting place. Once inside, that’s when the mask came out from under her cloak, which she affixed firmly over her head. It covered her entire face in a layer of deep royal blue and gold detailing. Sure, Disguise Self was good, but she was the type to have more than one layer of defense. Just in case. The last thing she wanted was to get caught in a trade this close to the king.
