(2/2)Since we were kids, older generations would pass wisdom in the phrases "tama raw itong (insert practice or idea)". Tama raw na magbigay ng respeto sa nakatatanda (it's right to give respect to elders). Tama raw na hindi pinaguusapan ang maseselan na mga bagay sa harap ng mga bata (It's right to NOT talk about sensitive issues in front of kids). Tama raw na hindi pagdudahan ng kabataan ang nakatatanda dahil papunta palang ang kabataan, pabalik na mga nakatatanda. (It's right for the youth NOT to question their elders; for the Youth is still on their way forward while the Elders are already making their way back/returning.) . And while some pearls of wisdom are "tama" we are learning that some of this "tama raw" aren't or at least situational. . I don't believe in censoring the bad completely. Children understand far more than adults give them credit for. And if we want to change the paradigm, it starts with us, the NEW PARENTAL GENERATION to stress which "tama raw"s are important. The more eyes see problems, the more minds and hands work for a solution. BUT first, we need more heARTS otherwise "woke" eyes and "opinionated" minds would just be noise. . Interestingly, OCTOBER is TAMARAW month. And I didn't know. And I'm ashamed. And I promise to be better so we can have "a better TAMA RAW" sooner. Happy Halloween! This is my first crossover themed artwork. I decided to have Hotaru Tomoe (Sailor Saturn) to be the new alter ego of the first Homonculus Pride (Selim Bradley) from FullMetal Alchemist. I felt it would be fitting for the Messiah of Silence to be one of the scariest among the Homonculi. Both have that innocent looking facade concealing unimaginable horrors inside.
